Two complimentary airfares plus free trip to the same spots J mentioned.  Ridiculous.

Received a phone call from promotions department of JKA, number is an Omaha, NE area code. The enthusiastic woman said I won an all expense paid trip to my choice of Las Vegas, Orlando, or Cancun. Initially, told me to press #1 for additional details. When I didn't the system disconnected. I called back and received the same message, and then found it's a seminar of sorts one must attend and to receive the travel certificates. Not sure how they received my number.

"Hi! You are the lucky winner......." That was all I needed to hear.

Left a voicemail saying i won a free trip to florida, LV, puerto vallerta, cancun (my choice) No obligation or time shres and to call toredeem offer. What a waste of my time!

Same message from 240-699-8911 to my government cell phone.

I have received this call about 5 times over the past couple months on my cell phone.  Same details as the above posts. I got another one today and I called abck the number they listed hoping to speak with a real person (877-904-1440).  I listened to the entire recording.  At the VERY end, they give you the option to remove your number from their list.  Push 2 on your phone to get to this option (not sure whether it works mid-way through the message or not). I tried it, and was asked to say my number, then I marked it urgent (can't remember which option this was), then pushed 9 to send the message.  We'll see if it works - I may have just confirmed for these scammers that there's a live body at the end of the number they've been calling...

Same as all of the above, and I have never filled out anything.
She said "Calling from the promotional dept of JKA"..blah..blah.
Sounds like a big time scam to me!

ITS AN ILLEGAL PLOY USED BY TELEMARKETERS TO VIOLATE THE DO NOT CALL LIST.

By stating that you won something in a contest you never entered  - they think they can use the previous business relationship loophole in the DNC laws so they can call you.

ITS STILL A LIE and IT STILL VIOLATES DO NOT CALL LAWS.

REPORT THEM ASAP to donotcall.gov website - Click on FILE A COMPLAINT BUTTON

If you talk to them - they will try and sell you something as well.

Got teh same call today on my cellphone... Dang! I never win anything!

Just got my call.  Says I filled out a form last year, won one of two trips, blah blah.  Anyone figured out if this means you are on a list of some sort or if I can have my number removed?

Same thing happened to me - some scam call that I won two free tickest to a destination of my choice for filling out some forms at their event last year.

I got the same call. Its a scam. I'm in college i don't have any money and I don't fill out any forms unless it is for school.

Got a call this morning stating that the Alaska lottery ticket I had purchased had been drawn and I had won two free round trip tickets from the airport that is near me. Didn't name the airport or trip destinations. I guess they are having to use new tactics with the lottery scam.

Definitely a scam.  It's like they're working their way through area codes.  There're other "KJA Promotions" variant messages with different ladies' names going out to North Carolina and a few other places as well.  Number always originates in Omaha, Nebraska.

I got a call from that number.  I don't always get calls like that.  I had to check it up to see if it was marketing calls.  Am deaf myself.. so do not know what the message was or will not open/answer it.

I got a call from this number did not answer as I don't have free minutes when called and don't know who it is.  No voicemail was left etc.  I really hate telemarketers calling my cell or texting info I have been getting that lately too.

Call was same as the rest...automated message saying some form I filled out a while ago with my name and phone number was pulled from a raffle and that I won 2 free roundtrip tix to Cancun Puerto Villerta(?) or Orlando FL. No Time shares etc., just press one to claim the free tix.  All cost on them...

I got the same call today.  Did anyone call it back to see if this is true?  I have not. I am in California and we heard of this on the news lately that it is a scam.  Just wondering!

I got the same thing as all of you, from a lady named Kay Holloway, with same call back number 877-904-1440 and to call within 24 hrs to claim my prize with no obligation.

left vm  on 12/11 saying to return call to claim my winnings
