Second day in a row for them to phone me. First left a message that an alarm went off. Didn't get anything this time. Even left a message with somebodies name. Of course it was different than mine. Total idiots. Might phone back and give them a piece of my mind.

Received a call from this number. I am an emergency contact for my mothers ADT service. The alarm was set off, they were calling me to notify me.

This was a legitimate call.

I agree with some of the above comments, specifically identifying themselves as ADT rather than Unknown.
They called my cell phone because I must be a contact person for a family member's ADT system. They should be regularly talking with their customers to ensure the contact information is up to date.

It's ADT. not a telemarketer. Pick up unless you don't mind your house burning down or getting robbed.

Brenda, that sounds like a scammer. ADT wouldn't be calling about your computer and it's battery. Sounds like it could be a potential "remote PC scam".

Keep in mind, people will fake caller ID with legit numbers.

Received a call from 403-263-7110  at 4:25 a.m. in the morning - something about my computer and the battery - was not impressed and told them never to call again.

This number is definately ADT alarm company . After phoning my cel to tell me my house was being broken into , I was out on hold for 8 mins for someone to figure out why they called ME!! They had the wrong house ..

Received a call from this number i didn't even answer it I only know one person in Alberta and she's not from Calgary that's for sure, and how do they get the cell numbers?  doesn't matter wont call me anymore i have the number on block LOL

Yes, this is for ADT security system.  I just got a call on my cell phone but there was no name display so I didn't know it was them calling about my parents alarm system.

I receive calls from this number at least once a week, and generally around 2:20 am each time.  I don't have an alarm system, never had.  I sure hope that who ever they are trying to contact really isn't having weekly break ins, fires, or high carbon monoxide levels....lol

I received a phone call at work from this number today (Friday, 18 November 2011) at 9:50 AM saying my alarm had gone off.  She said the fire trucks were on their way to my home.  I asked what I should do and she said it was up to me.  I left work and went home to find nothing amiss.  I contacted my security company and they said there was no alarm that had gone off at my residence.

This is ADT's (security company) 24 hr monitoring number. They receive a numbered list from subscribers in the order which they would like their key holders to be contacted in case of an emergency. ADT cannot control who is on that list. As a business owner who uses ADT, I am responsible for updating and maintaining that list. They have no idea who works for me. You may be receiving calls from them because: the person who was previously assigned to your phone number was on a call list, you previously worked for a company that subscribed to ADT who did not update their list, or a person wrongly submitted a number.

I have had calls previously, and just had another call. Two things come to mind after reading this blog.... (1) considering the number of wrong numbers they call, in my case the call was for a post office here on Vancouver Island, I wouldn't now consider using them.  (2) If these are legitimate calls, why does the call not show the company name on caller ID, instead of "unknown name".  I ignore all out of province calls that don't show who is calling.

This is ADT Security, they may have your number from a previous customer years ago.  The good news is that if something happens, they call.  The bad news is that they call you.   Either answer or call them back and they will remove you from their list.

I freaked out a bit because they knew my full name and I had just gotten back from out of the country and it was hard to understand. So I thought I did something wrong. But than after listening to the message 5 times, I heard ADT (which sounded familiar) and I was brought to their website.

They called me on regard of Built-in Ambular (sp?) System at the address of 7081-2919 4th Avenue West (Somewhat close but not too close)

I got a call from this company ADT because of a company I used to work for. When I was employed there, my name was on a calling list of employees to call if there was ever a break in to the company. If you get a call, make sure you're taken off any list they may have you on, otherwise, they'll keep calling you whenever an alarm goes off.

This is an alarm company fools!!! If you're getting a call it's either a WRONG number or something that belongs to you is being STOLEN or is BURNING to the GROUND!!!!

Received a call at 1am.. extremely annoying.

Received call from this number today on my cellphone. No message left. Area code is Calgary Alberta.

I am on evac alert and was quite annoyed to be getting this phone call at 3:30 in the morning.

We were called at 2am. I did a Google search and came to this site.

ADT is an alarm monitoring company, and they've probably been giving the wrong emergency contact number by whoever has the alarm installed.

I phoned the 1-800 number and let them know they have the wrong number so they can contact whoever they installed the alarm for and get the number right the next time.

These are not marketing calls, but are calls to emergency keyholders.

Just got woken up at 6:43 AM with some dude from ATD saying that they detected the motion alarm going off in my garage,
FIRST OFF ALL I DON'T OWN A GARAGE! 2ND! I DON'T HAVE AN ALARM SYSTEM!
ATD - GET YOUR SH%* TOGETHER!! I'm sure my self and the person above arn't the only two that have been woken up for no reason.

That 403-263-7100 number just called me at 6:30am in the f****ng morning, then again at 6:42am.  Who the f*** does marketing calls at 6:30 in the morning?  This is really pissing me off.
