Yep, called me and noone answered after i picked up.

this just happened to me, says no one available when i call back

Has been calling me 2 or 3 times per day up to 9pm at night. This is ridiculous!

I am also getting calls from this number... have you found out who it is?

Getting calls from this number. Always asks for me by first name only. Says his name is john reed and wants to speek to me about a comminity fund raiser i helped out with last year. Really Creepy!!!

I got a call from this number as well this pass weekend, I was not home and my husband answered asked for me by name and then hung up when I was unavailable. I phoned this number when I got home and got what sounded like a kid who answered the phone but when I was trying to figure out who it was they hung up on me too. This worries me bc I do not even live in Alberta.

I have called and reported this to the Calgary Police which in turn forwarded me to PhoneBusters.com  #888-495-8501.  

I was told that the more people who report this number, serious action will be taken.  Please call and report this number!!!

Phone call from this number this morning asking for the President of our company by name.  Male caller did not identify himself or the name of his company.  When I indicated our President was unavailable and offered to take a message for him, he declined and said he would call back.

Since the caller would not identify himself or the name of his business, we are assuming this to be a sales call or some sort of scam.  We will block this number from our phone system.

Phoned over 25 times in 3 days.  We never answer unknown callers but finally answered this one.  Asked for my husband by name, when I said he wasn't available, the gentleman said his name was Jack Ram and that he was calling on a community matter.  He wouldn't leave any message and said he'd call back.

Same thing, that number calls ALOT... I answered it once and there was just a click. So I don't answer it anymore. Hopefully it will stop!

Thanks for the info.  This guy keeps calling me and won't leave a message.  He tells my wife that he'll call back later.  Not impressed.

Got a call, this is a scam of some kind, guy is using an auto-dialer and has called my fax and my home number, tries to come up with any reason to get money out of you.

Same as everyone else, I live in northern alberta and 403 is southern...answered to a dial tone and when i called back voicemail picked up but never said what the name of the company is

showed up on call display, didn't answer, no message.

Got the same thing today.  Scared the life out of my wife when she got a rude beligerant call demanding to speak with me.

This person has called our house numerous times over the past few days without leaving a message. I was going to call them back when I thought I should check this site to see if others have received similar calls. Now I know not to call them back.

I to have recived a letter saying almost the same thing and like most of us I needed the money but thank god I had enough of a brain and looked the site up and I did call also and get this everyone I told and had showed the letter and check too said that it was real so thats when I decived to look this site up I want to thank everyone who took the time to write about these kind of people.god bless you all.ps I wish we could get one up on them so then they would see and feel how the others feel?

Got a call from 403-313-0397 looking for a relative...asked what it was about..was told is was concerning a community project. 313 is not in my community.
Caller identified himself as Bob Brown. I tried calling the number back..same results as everyone else
Definitely some kind of scam.

Received a call from this number asking for someone who was out.  They asked when they would be back in and I recommended that they try back tomorrow.  When I asked who was calling the caller answered 'Chris Lehman, I am calling regarding an opportunity in the community'.

received a call from this number looking for someone and i advised that this person was out.  i asked if they wanted to leave a msg and they said they would call back later and that this matter is a community issue and they quickly hung up.  i called back and there was an answering machine asking to leave your name and number, but of course there is no information as to who the "company" is.

Got a call from this number.  No name on Caller ID.  Called it back and got a VM Msg stating for me to leave my name and Phone number.  Did not identify who they were or anything so I just hung up.  Very creepy.
