Got call from 1-404-320-0964. Shows ID as Operations Div.
I have been spammed by this person now for over a month. How to report this and take action?

Call on my cell phone...no msg left.  Do not recongize number.

Got a call for my husband from this number, asked for callers name & he gave it (forget the name tho')...then asked where he was calling from & he rudely asked for my husband again. I told him if he was going to be rude, then no he wasn't available. The man then said 'all right then I don't need to talk to him" - and hung up on me. Caller id showed Operation Div.
Looked up online and Yahoo came up with this info only:

Along with the number...no web site or anything.

I got this call tonight while I was at work.  No message.

Here is a trick you may want to use. I once worked for the telephone company and learned that a series of numbers are assigned to a company.

Lets suppose that you were to call 713 777 4441 ( this is the CG services number in Texas ) and this number is either busy, or disconnected or for some reason unusable. Just call the number before it or after it and you will quickly find out if that number will get you through to the company and person you want to talk to. You try 713 777 4442 or 4440 and find that this is the main office while the 4441 number is a secretary/answering service. Now you have someone YOU can harass.

 More than once I have had to use this method to avoid calling a business  number which had been disconnected. The business was still viable but in the case of a local bank I was directed to call another state to get some kind of customer service. No, I wanted to talk to a local bank officer and was not going to call somewhere else to fix a problem. Problem solved! No more run around.

 As for feeling bad that you have been contacted by a bill collector: DON'T!  Don't feel sorry that you lost your job. Don't be intimidated by someone who is on commission to call you. Do believe that the bill you owe has been sold to a collections company for one TENTH of what you owe or maybe even less...  

If you wish to settle and have some money then offer them some pittance.
Never offer to pay the full amount. The collections company did not pay the full amount for your account.

If you don't or can't settle then where in the law does it state that you can't lie to avoid being harassed? He died yesterday is a good response.

Put the fear of God into the collector like this:
He/she moved to Texas and is working for the IRS...So what is your name
and where do you live so that I can relay the information to Him/Her?
Most people do not want the IRS on their back for any reason.

they call again and BAM when i pick up he said "Traced" so i hung up real fast...whats up with these ppl?

I received a call from this number earlier and when I called it back, the guy wasn't rude at all.  He was calling inregards to an old Sprint account that my husband and I had.  I advised him that we have already been working with a lady at the agency to get the account resolved.

Just left voice mail demanding a return call to some 800 number. I am on the do not call list. Must not be working. Called me by the wrong name too. Got one of the two right. Does anybody know what kind of business these guys are runnin?

Called not only the home phone, but also the cell. Thats ok, I spoke to the breathing person simply stating the next call I receive, I will charge with phone harrassment. Which I a crime.

they have been calling my number since we got it 4 years ago today they called twice the first call i had asked them to take me off the list mike brown dos not has not will not ever be at the other end of this phone#.........not even a min. later they called again asking for mike brown again i explained that i had just goten off of the phone with somone that was suposed to remove me from the list.the voice at the other end of the phone snaped back with "oh no you didnt but since you asked so nice this time "click.and hung up on me. these people do not interacting  with people let a lone colecting money from them no wonder people ditch the colectin agencys so much

Since the beginning of 2008, I received numerous calls from these people regarding a Sprint account my husband had set up in New York. Mind you, the SS number did not match up, the fact that I/we live in California and most of all, my husband has been DEAD for two and a half years. The "sub humans" calling from this agency have to be stopped, they call numerous times a day and when you inquire as to why they are calling, they rude and belligerent. One woman in particular, is an absolute bi***!!! I did some research and these people are GC Services Limited Partnership - 6330 Gulfton - Houston Texas 77081 - (713) 777-4441.  Call them repeatedly and harass them the same way they have their "henchmen" harass you!

This call came in with caller ID of Operations Div. They asked for my husband, who died over two years ago.  When I asked why they were calling they persisted in wanting to speak with my husband. Before HE heard that my husband had died he said he would call back and hung up.  I was pretty upset at this point, as this company had called before, never leaving a message or when  I did talk to someone, TOLD THEM THAT MY HUSBAND HAD DIED!!!!!  They keep on calling!!!!  I called the number back and asked why they were calling my number, at this point I was pretty heated.  I insisted and  the woman who answered said she did not want to be yelled at and hung up on me.  I then called back and asked for a supervisor.  After repeatedly receiving a message machine, I finally got a person, after six tries.  The person I spoke with was a Mr. Williams.  I gave him my husbands name and my number and asked why his company was repeatedly calling the house.  Mr. Williams stated it was a Sprint account my husband owed on.  I assumed it was recent and reminded him my husband died over two years ago and that ALL his bills were paid as I was the executor and if there are recent charges it was FRAUD!!!!!!! Their problem and NOT MINE!!!!  So please STOP CALLING!!!  Needless to say, Mr. Williams got a bit defensive, but they have to stop calling because they driving me ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!!!!!!!  This bill was not my husbands! PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!

They called me today telling me that this is in reference to my Nextel account.  I told them that they needed to talk to the business owner... They said what and then stayed on the phone for 5 seconds.  Dead air.  I tried to get a response then they hung up....  Weird.  Nextel if it was in reference to a business account would actual ask if I was the account hold if I didn't pay the bill

Have been receiving calls from this number. Most of the time I didn't answer. A couple of times they ackknowledge me on a first name basis, and then ask or my wife. I ask them to hold but then they hang up.

Male caller claimed Iit was not a sales call, but important I call him back on 1-888-336-9834, although caller ID showed 404-320--0964. I called 888# and rude operator said company name was GC Services, but would not tell me what her Co. does. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said alll were in a meeting. She then hung up, after I repeated my question

Left a message..."This is not a sales related call, but it is very important we talk to you. Please call 1-888-336-9834. Again the number is 1-888-336-9834. Thank you."

receive calls from them all the time.  i don't know who it's for, but it's not for me. They're calling for someone with a foreign name.  A few times a day even on sunday.  They're very rude, ignorant, and can't speak in proper English.  They told me "Don't get hostile with ME,ma'am."  Sometimes if I hang up, they call right back!  Can someone please give me a link where I can report them to?

I'm getting these calls on a daily basis to my home phone as well. Usually never answer unknown numbers but I'm going through a home refinance now and saw the Operations Div on the caller ID. When I answered some guy was laughing uncontrollably while shouting, "you're stupid, so stupid, ha ha ha, your stupid" and so on. I will try emailing the higher ups if that works. I don't have the time to trampeline through all of these other people to find the route of the problem.

They call and call and never speak, but they dont mind staying on the line even after I have hung up or they realize its an answering machine.  If they would speak to me and ask for someone, I might say I am that person whether I am or not just to find out who they are and what they want.

I called the number back from my work number. I was able to find out that it is a collections agency. They said that they had the wrong number.

WHAT HAPPENED:
Like everyone else, I got a phone call from this number.  I decided to head things off at the pass.  I complained to the FCC online (http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html) and they will take action with enough complaints.

THE NEXT STEP:
I just called back the GC Services Limited Partnership, Collection Agency Division, in "PO Box 95366 Atlanta, GA 30347" at their Alt phone number 888-336-9808.  I informed them that they were calling an official US Government Phone, and they were required to remove the nubmer from their listing.  The Agent, Karen, took the number and serached her Database for it, before removing it.  The informed me that it was used as a POE (Place of Employment) number for a Ms Teresa Joyner, and gave me other information on her.  The agent was quite helpful and well-spirited.

SUGGESTION:
Repeat the process I have done here, and request the information that was given for your phone nubmer. Post it here, as much as you can, and let's find out who is reporting our phone nubmers as Theirs!  Then we, as an internet community, can contact them (repsectfully) and inform them of their 'obviously erroneous information' and kindly reques that they remove our number from their use, or we will have to take them to court.  I will be doing this with Teresa next.  Good luck, and remember, remain on the Moral High Ground, or you are not much better than them.

Same here! It would not bother me at all to open up a can of whoop a_s on someone that is harassing me or my family. It's just a small fine!

Called the company and was told that they had just removed my phone from their database. (for about the 10th time. I advised her that if they call again. I will report them to whoever I have to. They are asking for a Sherill Suggs??? I do not know anyone with that name.

When we answer no one says anything and hangs up.
