Seemed like a reply to my craigslist ad. Message had an internet address. i started to install a pluggin to view what the idiot was sending me. It installed about 10 software apps that I just got finished removing from my PC. So far, maybe just obnoxious advertising......

This number texted a response to my CL barter ad within minutes asking if I would trade for something they sen't a picture of. I couldn't open the picture unless I downloaded a GIMP viewer, Now GIMP is a legitimate program so I can really tell the relationship between this event and a scam but I always check the other party involved. That's how I found these posts and added mine.

Same number called me trying to make me fall for a key logger off a craigslist scam. Texted me saying "hi I saw your honda shadow ad-my husband want one like this- Keyloggerwebsite- is this the same kind? getting him 1 this wk. thanks." This is a key logger! beware!

Person just texted me about an ad I placed selling a ring. Wanted me to try to open the photo. I couldnt from my iphone, but refused to try it on anything else. My brother in law is a US Marshal. I texted to let whomever know I fowarded her message to brother in law.

replied to my wanted ad on craigslist. sends to picsoft photo id 482wtm. if you install gimp you willstill notbe able to view them. my avg stopped a trojan this person was attempting to send through site. reporting to craigslist

She just sent me a link to Picsoft.org with a photo ID, did some digging and it links to a modified version of GPM viewer with a key logger. Very scary stuff (not saying she'd get much outta me as I'm broke as hell, lol).
