heard a ladys voice say name of company

I     did not receive a call but a e-mail stating "taxnfinancial services" saw my resume onCareer Builders and thought I would be a great" support manager" they called it. My info is just like the info Angie received Word for Word.  I went to the bank and closed my account and withdrew my money. The bank said it was a scam and ask my permission to copy info to use for training purposes. I agreed .I thought if this saves some one else the threat of being a victim I am for it.  The bank reassured me scammers cannot do as much damage with your ss number as scammers want your account number and routing number  Close your accounts and move money I was told.

These people are definitly scam artists.  The address that comes up with this number is a tax company, but it is a legit tax company and is not soliciting for work from home employees.  There is no Kelly Miller at this location, and never has been.  Please do not send any personal information to these people as it is definitly a scam!!!!

Tip: I replied to the lady and told her I do not have a bank account locally, that I only Have GE Money Bank ( Walmart Prepaid Visa) DDA, and have never had problems with DD with any of my previous employers, and that I could not apply for a Bank  account because I owe on overdraft and until I pay that off, I will only be able to use GE Money. I requested my paychecks checks to be mailed instead and that i did not have a problem waiting.. . .

My apologies for the delay, there was a huge storm recently, we managed to fix the Internet connection, though we're still reviving our general phone line. You can, however, reach me at the phone number of our HR department in my signature below.

Upon reviewing your information, I have officially confirmed with my supervisor that you are hired, and you will be able to start working with us as soon as next week! In the attachment you will find the employment package containing a) Employment Agreement - a document, which gives you a general notion of your duties, guaranteed monthly salary, expenses and other work issues; and b) Bank Account Form - a special form used for submitting your bank account information. We require opening a separate bank account for working with us in order to be able to receive transactions from the corporate account. Just to remind you: your main duty will be delivering the prepared tax refunds to our clients; usually a person in this position is authorized to visit the bank and physically withdraw the funds from our corporate account, but since you're working remotely, the best option for us would be to wire the funds to you.

Taxco is a scam of new type, my wife answered an as on career builders for this company. She went thru the interview and was hired. My wife she would make a salary plus bonuses for sending forward tax returns,  The way the scam works is that they direct deposit monies into your account and then give you instructions to send an amount of money by western union or money gram.  Then you send taxco the confirmation number from western union or money gram. Once it is confirmed the transaction is complete they pull the direct deposit back leaving you bank account negative the amount of the deposit.  This is one time transaction, they will not return emails or phone calls.

i am in the same boat.  i have not made any transactions for them yet but decided to look further into the company today and found your responses.  i guess i should go to the bank and close my account.  i thought this was too good to be true.  i guess i should have followed my instinct.  if any of you get more information about the company please let us know.

I didn't redraw the funds, it was withdraw and assume by her. Haven't heard from her since. Definately a scam and I pray she or they care caught !!

Not so far, I wasn't even able to withdraw the funds and I was to send them to the same name in 2 different places in the Ukraine. The bank said it was a scam and since I returned I have not been able to get a single response from her since last Friday but according to the taxco site she is reading all the emails I am sending her so I find this very suspicious. What did you do with the funds you withdrew?

She made a deposit into my account last week Friday, withdrew it today. I have emailed and called her  with no response. What I am worried now is my personal information that she has - my ID info and SS #.

Has anything fraudulent been made with your SS # or personal info?

unfortunately I went thru with all of this and just came back from the bank after they closed my account due to suspicion of fraud. When I returned I contacted Ms. Kelly Miller about this and she replied wanting to know why and where their money was. I told her the account was closed and she could talk to branch manager. I just filed a complaint online with the IC3. Luckily I never transferred any money for this company but they do have my information now, so not sure what to do about it but the bank has it down that I'm a victim so that end of it I am clear and they are going to investigate it more.

There is no way that this is not a scam.  I received the following email on 3/8 from Kelly Miller, Human resources:

I emailed back right away that I was interested and needed more info.  It took eight days to receive the following message that amounted to one run-on paragraph.  No legitimate company would hire anyone in a position of responsibility that could not write a coherent paragraph.  See for yourself:

When I received this email, I called the number above for days to no avail.  Finally, on 3/18 I unexpectedly got a woman on the phone who claimed to be Kelly Miller's assistant.  Clearly, she was caught off guard and immediately became defensive when I inquired about Ms. Miller's whereabouts and told her how unresponsive she had been.  I told her that I had been contacted and read her the rambling email.  She rushed me off the phone and told me that she would give Ms. Miller the message.  Within an hour I received a message saying that I could start any day next week (week of 3/21) and that she was just waiting for my employment documentation, which she had never sent me.  We need to stop these people.

THIS IS LIKELY A MONEY MULE SCAM. Criminals have hacked into American business accounts and will begin stealing once a sufficient number of money mules (that's you!) have been lined up to receive the money in small amounts (few $thousand/transfer to avoid detection by the banks). Your "job" as a money mule is to withdraw electronic transfers in cash and wire the cash via Western Union to the criminals. Wired cash cannot be retrieved - once it's picked up at the other end, it's gone forever. You will be held financially liable and perhaps criminally liable (jail!) for the cash you wired them.  This vague deliver-tax-return "job" is just a scam-story. The real intention is to have you convert stolen electronic money into hard cash, wire it to the criminals, and you take the fall for it. Google "money mule". The domain was created yesterday. You would think a company that is supposed to be in business for over 3 years registered their domain more than 1 day ago.

I was contacted by this company for employment. I'm still trying to figure out if this is a scam or not. When I searched the company under the BBB website they were not listed as an accredited business but they also have not had a single complaint in the last 36 months. They have an address listed and 3 employees but no further information. I have requested more information from them, but if anyone figures this out, let me know!
