They have changed numbers now and are calling from an East San Francisco Bay phone number 510-256-0351

Yes, this guy called me with the same stuff about me owing for a payday loan I supposedly took out with US Cash, and now I owed 8,000 and if I did not pay I could be arrested. I told him I had not and it was not me and he then called me a liar and started yelling and talking over me because I was telling him he had the wrong person and he said the police would be coming to get me. I am like you Kyle I do not  like the fact they are calling and especially my job.

They still kept calling me and my job, my boss even told them off, and I told them what they are doing is illegal and if they keep harassing me then I was going to sue them! The guy then starting yelling profanities at me and I told him I was dead serious. I haven't heard from them since.

Also received a call from this number 7/12/2013. called my cell and my work, told my work it was an emergency. The voicemail they left me said for me or my attorney to call back and if i didnt "Then may God be with you!" when i called back to find out what this was about. they said that i defaulted on a payday loan with American Cash and that i owed 593.00. when i denied the lady called me a liar. I told her i would call my bank in the am and see if i in fact had recieved a loan and just did not remember. She stated she could not give me untill am. She also had my personal info. and stated that they had sent me numerous emails. Said if i didnt pay, they would have to investigate. I said " Well, I suggest you get started then." and hung up. This person was foreign and difficult to understand.

Got  a call from this # today. Heavy accent young men saying they have all sorts of legal jargon which
sounds fine for them reading off a script. Anyways, they said there is a affidivit with criminal charges for
a payday loan from 2011. I said I didnt know what they were talking about. The man went on to say all this
legal criminal stuff they have against me and called my cellphone then called my WORK!!! This is completely
unacceptable and someone needs to have this # blocked especially at work. They had my name, address,
employer info. OMG! that ruined my day. I called the # back several times and the call didn't go through.
When I called they know my # belonged to me by saying my name!  uggggggggggggggggg

These guys keep calling me and now my work too.....how can i make this stop...i stopped them on my call but hjow about for work? SCAM!!!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I recently received a called from the above number listed.When I answered my phone the person right away started in with threats saying I had taken a payday loan out for $98,after I had asked them for information reaguarding this matter they imdeatiately threated me with intimidation tactics such as calling of the local authorities the last time I was contacted by this number was yesterday saying I now will incur fees and be deported back to India one problem though I was born in this country in Wisconsin.I told them this and they became even more infuriated with me but I don't believe anything they say so be aware of this number.

Got a call from this number tonight.  My mom answered.  Apparently, I am going to be arrested at 11 AM tomorrow due to an unpaid pay day loan that I don't have.  I was writing mom a script as the call went on and on.  They had sent 16 e-mails, etc.  Phishing for information.  Breaking numerous laws.  He claimed that they couldn't provide any proof until after I am arrested.  Total BS.  As I explained to mom, it is someone trying to get info and money by using scare tactics, etc.  Believe me, they wouldn't tip me off about being arrested if they really wanted to catch me.  STUPID people.

@Kyle.  EXACTLY the same thing happened to me about an hour ago.  The first time he called I hung up on him after asking to be removed from their call list, under the impression it was another pay day loan call.  I get them a lot.  Anyway, I dont think he liked that very much because he called again but this time left a very nasty message on my voicemail saying because of how I hung up on him he was now going to refer my "case" to the "courts".  He then proceeded to state the last four digits of my social and bank acct, my email address, home address and workplace and that the "police" would be there in 20 minutes along with their"attorneys".  I was nervous at this point so i called back and the same guy answered.  He said i owe $8000 to american pay day loan for non payment.  I gave him a few choice words and also told him he was full of shyt and just wanted info.  As im hanging up, while at the same time telling him i'll just wait for the "police", Hes talking over me asking if he had my correct address.  He asked about 3 times before i hung up. My advice to anyone else this happens to is to just hang up,  ignore voicemail and block the caller.

I recieved a phone call from this # today at 3:00p & 6:30p. Stating that they have a law suit against me . The number had a (404) are code which is Atlanta, but my cell phone dispalyed Romania. The subject had a third world accent and got confused, when I asked him pertinet questions. As a security professional, they have contacted the swromg one!!

Recieved a phone call from this ph # today at 6:00 pm saying that there was a law suit against me told him I had no pay day loan calling with  some 3 rd world country accent  when I said did not have any loans he proceeded to tell me that when I go onto websites that some are secure and some are not and that someone has opened a checking account with my social security # and Dl # when I said so what do yopu want from me he said I need to  pay it then go to court and try to grt my money back I said from who he said ace cash  then I got pissed and he told me to suck his  you know what and hung up on me   my sopn called him back and he said the same to him .... Total scam I am going to contact police.

I received a phone cal from this number yesterday while at work(they called my cell phone). The lady, whom was hard to understand at times, told me I was being sued by Ameri cash for 8,000 due to an unpaid payday loan. I told her I didn't have a payday loan with them, then she proceeded to tell me that it could be from one of their 600 companies they have.  I told her I had no money to pay, and asked her to give me the name of the company it's coming from, she said she couldn't do that, then said if I paid $150 she could send me a receipt with the original creditors name on it. Until then she couldn't mail me anything with any information on it. She called me back later in the afternoon to see if I came up with the money, I told her no. She said she would call back Friday. By the end of the call the company name had switched from Ameri cash to American Cash.  This is a huge scam and I'm not falling for it. They tried(from a different number last time) a few months ago to get money from me. It isn't working.

Same kind of call, I told them so you mean to tell me in the United States they will come get me and lock me up over a civil matter? He said this is not civil, although earlier in the call he said it was.  I wanted to get more info so I stayed on the phone. He said to go to walgreens and get a spin type card, but not the plastic, get the paper one. I told him ok. They are trying to scare you into giving them money. they said they have sent me 16 emails. Of course, never got one.  Told me the same stuff about being at my job and will arrest me and spend 20 to 30 days in jail, I would lose my job and all that crap.   They are full of crap, if you get calls from them tell them to bring it.

I received a call from a man he name was Jame washton and he said i own a payday loan 7000 dollars and if i don't pay it that they are going to sue me

After I answered, The person asked if I was defain, I said Dewayne! yes you are in a bad fraud problem do you have an alturnay? I stated you mean attorney" right' yes yes he said you are in much fraud problems!"My son was with me and I could see it was making him upset" so I was done having fun, I informed him of ...... he stopped the call quickly then hung up! so I had my car phone operator to redial someone answered, Then he said a few choice words, letting me know how bad it was to play games with a very important altouriey for fraud unit,GO HOME IN THREE HOURS THE POLICE WILL BE AT YOUR HOME TO ARREST YOU DEVAIN, by then the trace had made it to the Atlanta Area and even closer.

GOOD news all phone lines to that facility are being blocked!!!!!!!  lol I m going to miss my new Attorney friend; even if he never really understood my GREAT since of humor !

I got the same "you'll face jail time, I want $8000 but I can't tell who you are paying it to" phone call. FRAUD! How stupid do these people think we are?

I got that same call i put an alert on my credit report and made a police report to cover me cause im thinking about sueing them....

I got the same call kyle had about a law firm sueing me  for 8000  or i would be locked up and that the police are on there way i would spemd 30 days in jail....

I received a call on July 3 as well from this "law firm" saying I hadn't payed a payday loan back. Then I said I don't have any unpaid loans and the guy said it could be other debts. He couldn't give me any info on who was suing me. He couldn't even give me the address of the law firm. He said I owe $8000 in fees and whatever and if I can't pay then I will face jail time. They had all my info but not full social security number. Anyone can pay to get that info on people. This call seems very sketchy to me and now they won't answer the phone when I'm trying to call back.

This number called me today about a payday that I defaulted on. The woman said her name was Ms. Jones. She also said she represented a larger company called Amer Cash. She referenced it as a charge off 4 non payment. She had a heavy accent, I could barely understand her. She started out trying to get $843 from me, then her asking amount started dropping after I said I didn't have it. She went from $843 today to $200 on Friday. She just kept mentioning jail time & investigators, but she she couldn't tell what my whole SS# was. It just sounded very suspicious!

it's a FRAUD call - someone saying you are being sued due to payday loans.  something like Marshall & Korman.
