received two calls today in a phone number i never give out. i answered the second time but did not say anything. there was noise in the background as in telemarketers office; a man said hello but i hung up.

We got calls on this, listing it as a local call.
This was after the Police Protection Fund kept calling everyday at 704 542 9359.
When the PPF called I told them to stop calling, and I think this is the next trick in the book for them.
When I said hello, no one answered.
They are targeting a senior citizen.

I keep receiving calls for no reason; this must be stopped.

Got a call from them and the person pronounced my name incorrectly....told him the person he asked for was not here and if I could take a message and he just hung up...called back the number and it is definately a fund raising organization

GOT NUMEROUS CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER . THEY ALWAYS HANG UP ITS ANNOYING

Continuous calls as early as 8:00 AM.Suggest putting a call block against this number.

This fund raiser calls my house at least once a day.  The best thing to do is just tell them you will donate and have them send the stupid info in the mail.  There is no contract so you do not have to follow through with a "pledge".  This will buy you about 2 months worth of peace until the next quarter from the Fulton County Police and Fulton County Fire Department's harrassing phone calls.

two call beginning 10/1.  No message. I keep up-dating 'do not call'; how does one stop these calls!!!

They jsut won't stop - I have asked them to quit calling me - they wait a week and start all over again

Obviously a telemarketer calling on behalf of the fraternal police....aggressive and I persistent.

I have gotten about 30 calls from these people, they never leave messages and the last time I answered and asked them to leave a message they did not want to either

These people call me regularly. It is a fundraising company, alledgedly collecting for Fraternal Order of Police.  I've answered it a couple of times and had some fun with the caller.  Don't answer it!

Received a call yesterday, picked up and got hung up on. Have seen this number show up in the past but they don't leave a message. Today I picked up and got a recording. A women's voice mentioning something about the "Fulton Police Department... Fraternal lodge.." And then a list of seemingly random numbers.

Bizarre.

Called back and got a recording saying it was a 'fund raising' organization. They offer to put you on their Do Not Call list, but only if you have the organization that is contacting you through them. Which of course, you will not have because THEY KEEP HANGING UP. This is BS and I'm getting fed up with it.

Similar incidents have happened to me in the past with other phone numbers as well. It seems like the new route of telemarketers. Place calls, hang up, force people to call them back. And nothing we can do stop it.

Have gotten several calls from this number. The one time I did answer, the man said he was calling on behalf of the Fraternal Order of Police.

I've now received 2 calls from this number. CID lists the name as Local Call. Both times, I let the call go to the machine. Both times, whomever hung up as the outgoing message started to play. No one ever says who they are

Just (~6:30 PM EST on a Thursday) received call. Didn't answer. No message left.

I believe they are a fund raising company with some "association" to the local police charities inthe ATL area
