Got a call from this number no message..Anyone know who it is??

these idiots are first financial,collections.beware they call from different numbers.looking for someone who doesnt live here must have had the same number,really who knows.called this morn at 8am.never pay anything to them without finding out if you even owe the debt.

These people will not stop calling me.  After not being told who they are collecting for I got worried because we had been victims of identity theft years back and we were having problems with collectors selling these accounts when we gave them the case number. (BTW) totally wrong way to go about taking care of identity theft but were unaware at the time. I pulled a credit report and there is nothing.  Not any delinquent accounts and no collections, but still they will not stop calling me. They'll be going on my silent ring tone list for sure.

Nothing new - same complaints as others have listed - these collection agency reps that call are totally ignorant human beings.  I will continue to treat them as they deserve to be treated - NO RESPONSE.  If it isn't in writing - I don't deal with it.  I have no proof they are who they say they are and since they don't even bother to speak to you and/or provide any details - one cannot confirm or validate any information whatsoever - so they get what they deserve - NOTHING!

It is refreshing to see a comment from a collector even a former one- that has correct information and not the USUAL BS they spout about paying bills while ignoring what the complaints were actually about.   Which is usually the illegal actions of the people calling and nothing about valid debt.

just started calling me; assumed it was debt collection agency. Apparently it is. I use to work for one. So i bit of knowledge ya ll should know.
-they are suppose to wait a week before calling you again if they got in contact with you and verified it was you.
-If you tell them it is a work phone and that you can't get calls there they are required to no longer call you between the hours you work on that number.
-They are only suppose to leave 1 message per day. and only if it is on your cell or home number.
-oh and look up any of the credit/ privacy laws in your state. IF they break any of them they company would have to pay off your debt themselves.

They call my home everyday and as someone mentioned already they are very vague about the details of the account so I don't even speak with them anymore. When I'm at home to answer, I just pick up and hang up on them now (childish, but that's just what I do0.

This number 404-523-0681 is a scam. They called and gave me information about a collection on a old bill, however, they would not give any specifics, and they kept skirting around my questions. They also keep calling and will not leave a message on my voicemail at all. Found out once that this number does not belong to any company, but, is a residential phone number from Atlanta, Georgia

This number keeps calling me and letting my voicemail run out on the message.  It called three times today, when I've answered in the past it tells me to "please hold to speak to a representative."  HOW do I get these to stop???

Had these people start calling me on Monday the 23rd. Kept missing the call.  Was able to answer it this evening, and held to speak with someone.  They were looking for someone who we don't even know or even lives at this number and we've had this number going on 8 months.  When I instructed the representative to make sure she removes our number from the dialer.  She tells me to "ooooohh sssssshhuuuuuut uuuuuup". ~Caller I'd said First Financial and the number was 404-523-0681

Calls at least once a week.  Occasionally an automated message...otherwise a lot of beeping.

They have called several times.  Refuse to supply me with any of my information when they call.  They want me to "fill in the blanks".  when I don't answer they wait until my voicemail is finished and then hangup.

Twice in two hours, no messages

they have called my house 9 times within 2 hours

said he was from first financial which is a known scam, I used to get partial messages on my phone such as "...what business you are conducting."
and then would give me acutout number to call
