When the machine picked up caller hung up.

This company has been calling and a recording comes on asking for golbert johnson,they call real early and i have a baby who is sleeping,i have asked them to stop, telling them no one lives here by that name but they wont stop,and i called the number back and talked to someone and she had no record of the person they want and no record of my phone number.I do know that by law if you ask them to stop calling that by law they have to stop,but they wont stop calling.

Kept calling and calling and left a vm for me "stephanie xxx" to call back.  I am not Stephanie, and neither is my husband.  So I called to tell them to stop and they had the wrong number.  When I gave them the account I told them they had been calling me too much and I wasn't stephanie and to please stop.  I asked what company it was, he would not answer.  He asked what my phone number was, I said what company is this?  He would not answer, just said - why do you want to know if you are not stephanie?  And then he hung up on me.

Thanks for the info.  Have gotten several VM on my cell to call 800 496 4392 and they left an account / reference number. VM are NOT for me someone is giving out my cell as their contact number.  Figured it was connected to bill collection type.

It's Vengroff Williams & Associates.  They are a collection agency for medical bills.  They left a message with a call back # of 800-482-3013.
