I've been dealing with a "Ron Banks" and now I'm escalated to "Mr. Anthony Ashua" who had the nerves to call my work and leave a message with a co-worker that my credit card declined. I purposely gave them an old credit card because I just didn't have a good feeling about them. Now after reading the above posts, I am not alone in my conclusion that these guys are a scam. In fact, I called a law office to file a claim against them and learned that this business is not legitimate and was warned not to give them any information

Called my work and left a message with my co-worker saying that he was a vendor and that my credit card declined. I called a law office and spoke to someone who researched the number and found out that this business is not legitimate and to not give them any personal info.

I just tried to call Anthony back to get the name of his company he had an attitude and hung up on me, no one in a professional industry will pick up the phone, have an attitude, then hang up on you when you ask for the name of the company that employs them. To anyone reading this This is a CIVIL matter not a criminal matter, regardless of what Anthony tells you the only thing that he can do is take you to court and sue you. He is using scare tactics to get money so he can line his pocket with commissions, I used to work for a collection agency. When you call his voice mail it only says check fraud dept. I am sorry but he is not in charge of check fraud, the local police are. It clearly states that when you take out a payday loan and do not pay it, you are not committing check fraud because the company took the check KNOWING that there was not enough money in the account at the time. If you owe a payday loan company you should pay them within your means, but do not be scared into paying them more than you can afford. I should not have even taken out a loan but at the time, things were going ok for me and the loan was actually for a co worker at the time whom lost her job right along with me and she couldn't pay.

I just got off the phone with Anthony from the "Fraud Dept" of EZ Payday loans Regarding a past due bill from 2011, I told him that I could not afford much because I lost my job, my car, my housing and I offered to make payment arrangements of $25/month until I could get on my feet. Anthony advised me that that wasn't good enough, that he needed at least $50/month. Told Anthony that I couldn't afford that much right now, he said that he would be forwarding this to my county for prosecution for "theft of services." I told him that this is a civil matter not a criminal matter and he said that I deliberately defrauded the payday loan company, I told him that it wasn't intentional.
Just a quick note to you Anthony: "Yes, I went out of my way to loose my job, my car, and my house, just so that I could defraud your client out of $428, you caught me in my evil scheme to turn my life completely upside down for a lousy $428" Get real! I am having a hard time feeding my son, believe me when I say my  first obligation isn't you Anthony and your stupid commissions you received from collecting past due accounts that your "firm" bought for pennies on the dollar.
