This is a Timeshare sales scam.  Vacation and Resorts Closing and Settlement Co. of Atlanta, GA.  Report them to Do Not Call.gov, if you're on the list.  Don't give them any money or information.

received a call today about a confimed buyer for our timeshare.    We were given an address of 931 Monroe De., Atlanta, GA 30308 Suite 102A.   They gave us a name of the buyer.  They talked about the federal trade commission and that it was a guaranteed sale.  The also told us that we would have to give them $2498.

Yes Dodge-gal I think we have been taken. Andrew Reid called me October 26, 2010 and said that Vacations and Resorts were the closing company for my timeshare. They said they were given my timeshare from Timeshare Goldline. They lied. I was scammed by both places. I'm writing to the Attorney General of both these scammers and get my money back. This is really bad business.

Received calls from 404-828-0907, 404-220-9949, and 404-335-7154.  All the name of a company called Holidays and Planning.  Did same as person above, send me a check and I will have lawyer do paperwork.  Not a prayer.  They wanted $1550 up front for "tax and License cost".  B***s***.  Simple thing to do anymore with any of these timeshare crap companies - ask them for a physical address.  Where are they located (not just city - actual business address).  See if they give it to you.  I have yet to get one from anyone.  When I state that any REAL business that is doing a legitimate deal for $25K etc, would be happy to fork over there address to get the deal done, and not say to me "I don't have time for jokes".

Received a few calls from 404-828-0907.  They were actually arguing me about why I am a fool to pass up on making $27,500 for my timeshare.  I asked them why they needed $1850 up front.  Why can't they take their money from the closing check of $27,500?  They said Federal law prohibits this (FLAG 1).

I asked them well where are you located?  He said Georgia.  I said big state, what is your physical address?  He said he would not give me an address unless I agreed to do business with them - thus pay $1850.  I said what business would refuse to give out their location (FLAG 2).

Thus no sold timeshare, no paying them $1850.  Plus a cancelled credit card in case they get the urge to charge it anyway.

recd a call from 404-828-0907 about time share sale. I ask the party to just send me the check and i will have my lawyer do the paperwork. he hung up will prob not hear from him again after reading all the feed back

Be very careful about these companies who say they are consumer advocates and if you pay up front for a lawyer fee they will get your money back. I have had several scam calls from such companies in the past couple months. one of which gave me a callback # which is the same as one who did scam me out of $1700. to list/sell/rent my timeshares 3 years ago. That # was 1-800-300-0180 and belonged to Timeshare Registry International (another of their #'s 727-254-5280).

I have had 2 calls from  NY cos. claiming to have a buyer 4 me 347-821-5203 (Direct Finance) and they gave me the last 4 digits of my chg card used to pay for the timeshare listing 3 yrs ago. They wanted closing fees and 4 me to give them my full CC#. BEWARE of anyone who wants $ up front.  Others scam numbers I have received in last two mos: Greg 407-215-5413; Chris Lucas TFR LLC 954-362-1700; CMG Market Pro 954-362-9813.

Also, today I received calls on my home and cell #'s from a 404-828-0907 referenced by another posting on this site as a scam. I was not home so did not speak to anyone, but this area code if from Georgia.

We received a call saying they had a byer for our timeshare in San Antonio, TX and we sent them $2,500 for closing costs and etc.  Have we been taken by this same group.

We also received 2 calls from andrew and he was downright hostile!  Talk about a turkey!  If he ever calls again I will go straight to his supervisor and tell him to get this guy fired.

YES I have had 2 phone calls from 404-828-0907-one call was from "John Brooks" a few days ago and the 2nd call came today from "Andrew Reid" who told me he had a family that wanted to buy my Wyndham timeshare. I was then transferred to "Christopher" who told me I was going to have to give my credit card for $2450.00 for the "legal documents". When I told him I would not give him anything until I reviewed the legal documents he became very rude and loud. He also told me I would speak to someone from the Fed Trade Commission to verify everything and secure the documents. Finally-I disconnected the call and went to the computer---I am so glad I did not give him my credit card information! I am going to report to the BBB tomorrow.

I got a call from the same company- Vacation properties  Phone number 404-828-0907.  The story never changes after all these postings.  The question is:  How do you legitimately get rid of the timeshare properties without affecting your credit rating?

I got a call this afternoon from Aaron Peterson from 404-828-0907, he had a deal for me at my selling price and knew all the facts.  I asked to call him back in a few minutes after I located my papers.  He said that he'd call me back, which he did and gave me the same basic story reported above.  He said someone would call me from bookkeeping to go over the financial aspects  I didn't answer that call.

A man named Donovan Brewer the vice president of legal?? for this company called VAR a subsiidary of Westgate Resorts.  They wanted money to sell my time share??  I said send me an offer and I'll consider an acceptance.  He said I'd be waiting a very long time.  Need we say more.  I hung up

they send me this monday some paperwork, but as others wrote, whats that use, they are alover the hill be now.

i got a message, yesterday from andrew too,. and since i 2 years ago, made a add paying 2000 to sell my timeshare, and he could answer that that was a reply to that.

he had a buyer, and same same, money upfront, 2495 dollars, i said yes, but regret it a cancelled thank god the deal or should i say no deal. I am shock that people life to chet orther persons like this.

We received a call from "Richard Walters" saying he had a buyer for our time share weeks.  We could call him at 877-484-3027.  The offer was considerably more than we would have expected, but we were supposed to pay closing costs up front and we would get a cashier's check in the mail.  We were not interested in paying anything "up front" and the deal started to sound fishy.  We declined the offer and thought that was the end, but tonight I see we have 6 missed calls from 404-828-0907 -- after reading the other posts above, they must be connected in some way to the person at the 877 number we dealt with.

'Edwin Clark' of Vacation and resorts Closing and Settlement Co. called from that number today.  Claimed to have sold my unit and had the deposit in escrow.  He gave an address of 931 Monroe Dr. Suite 102A Usual blah, blah, blah then I was transferred to 'Karen Blimer' of the 'FTC' for verification.  Naturally they needed a deposit to sell me condo and when I told her to send me a contract, she refused and said "that's not how it's done."
For any legitimate business that is how it's done.  Any business entering into and actual sales transaction of this nature would be happy to provide a contract for review.  This is a scam.  They don't want to mail anything because that's mail fraud and much easier to prove.  Don't give these con artists any of your financial information, or anything else.

This company called us.  It did cost us something, but they did send us some paperwork to help maybe get our money back from RCM and a few of the others we tried.  I'll just give you the number I have I hope it will help some.  You can let them know I refered you If they ask.  They are looking for people that got scammed.

We got scammed more than once.

They just called and already had my charge card number from RCM.  They told me that our time share was sold for more than what RCM said they sold it for.  They where real believeable.  I just had surgery and just got home and they didn't want to wait.  They also told me they wouldn't charge the card till after we signed the papers.  Well right after I hung up we called the credit card company and after we got through all the recordings and got a human they already tried to get the money.  I was luckey, we told them we were trying to get through before they made the transaction because we think it might be a scam, and we were afraid that they would get the money because of all the recordings we had to go through.  The Credit
card company was able to get our money back and my husband canceled the card.

I got a phone call from Andrew too, he said that he has a buyer and they wont charge me anything until the buyer sign the contract and start the sell. I wonder if someone knows how we can stop this phone call and get serious people to sell time share. Every one of them said that they have a buyer, how could that be? Further to my phone call from Andrew Reid at 404-828-0907, he did call back about 20 ,minutes later. I confronted him with the fact that he called me about a month ago with the same proposal, he denied it.

I asked him to listen closely then as I would advise him the same as I advised the last Individual who called me with a similar propostion.  Andrew was advsied that I am a retired police/fraud investigator and that if this was a scam which I suspect it was, that I would be pursuing him personally and that I would make his life very miserable. He said that was OK because it wasn't a scam and began to tell me how they were regulated by the FTC and that someone from the FTC would be calling me to ask me questions that just required a yes or no answer. Dear Andrew hung up when I started to  laugh at him.

Somewhere on Google here it talked about being advised of FTC calling to ask questions which only required yes and no answers. They should sell ocean front property in North Dakota!
