"Career Institute", press 2 to be removed. Hope it works!

Got this with no message.

I put in several job applications on line this weekend and suddenly I am getting a hoard of calls outside my area code that do not leave a message.  This happens every time I apply on line. It very annoying.

It was the Career Institute and like the other person said, call the number and press 2 to remove yourself.

I got a call from some 314 number earlier today and they left no message. Then just about 10 mins ago from the 404 819 6835 number. This time I called back and the lady on the other end said " I didn't not call you "

I just got a call from this number, and have been receiving calls from numerous unknowns and 314 #'s as well in the last week. I simply answered ONLY SAYING, "Call me again, and I'll sue you". That is exactly ALL I said. Not "hello", or "who is this". Just that. He, (a male, American, English speaker), politely said, "I will remove your number from our list then". and we hung up. End of (hopefully) these calls.

Called and hung up.  I called, it has a pre-recorded menu.  You press "2", and then "2" again to have  your number removed from their telephone list.  Those of you who are getting calls probably signed up for something on Facebook or Myspace or something.  That's the only thing I can think of.

I received a phone call from the ph. nr. 1404 891 6835 without leaving a message. I do not know who is the person or company that has my cell phone number. I am very upset.
How may I stop or block this phone number.

i'm thinking its a telemarketer or something because i have been getting multiple calls from area codes i do  not recognize.

The menu has changed.  To put your number on the "do not call list" select "1" when the call is picked up.  Pressing "2" now places you on perpetual hold.

It does work !!! Yeah :)

Pressing "2" every time I heard a voice WORKS.  Was told that thecalls would stop.  Now I wait and see.

Calling back and hitting '2' worked.  Rec'd a message that they will remove me from their calling list.  Thanks for the info!  I wonder will this work for all marketing type calls?

You must call from the number that you were called on; OR you can hold on forever and finally get other numbers removed!

I have been receiving unwanted calls and texts from this and several other numbers in the past week.

I was taking a power nap and the phoen ring I did not answer has been days I get bump of severals number call me no message left messenging are blocked lalalalalal

10/11/10 - This works:  Call back number (from same phone/line that they initially called you on) and press 2 as soon as the call is picked up.  Press 2 again to confirm. Hang up once you hear your number has been removed from my system.
