I signed up for a KMart card and they did the same thing to me!  If you have signed up for a rewards card recently, that may be how they got your number!

Got same call too on my work number. They left me a voicemail saying thank you for participating in the average american survey and that I won a $40 visa gift card. Call back at 888-440-9376. Of course it's a scam. I never participate in surveys.

Called my cell phone, which is supposed to be registered on do-not-call list. Was another of the computerized calls, saying I'd won a $40 visa gift card. I did not press "1" to speak to a live agent.

This company calls about 3 times a week and it sounds automated, but they say their name then tell you you've won something because you've visited certain websites and to call back to receive your gift. It's an 888 number they want you to call back to, so I've never tried it because some of the 888 numbers automatically sign you up for certain offers that apply a fee to your monthly phone bill. It sounds too fishy to me so I just delete the call, but they are a pain because they won't quit calling and I've been registered with the National Do Not Call list for about 3 years now.

Can someone push 1 on this number and talk to a representative.  It would be interesting to see what the name of the person is they are trying to reach.  I did it and they said Allison Massey and even gave me an email address that was registered.  With the work I do, I was able to give the number to the department of justice.

Someone else should call them back and see if they give you the same name (who registered for the visa card) that they gave me.  That info would be very helpful to the DOJ

Rec'd a message from this number today,  Caller ID said SURVEY REWARDS it was a recorded voice saying HI THIS IS STEVE AND THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING ONLINE FOR VISA GIFT CARD AND FOR TAKING AVERAGE AMERICAN SURVEY.  We didn't do either.   By claiming you registered online bypasses the do not call list, which is a joke anyway.
