Same # has been calling me on my cell and at work. It was David, then Paul, then Samantha. They kept telling our receptionist that it was a work related call so the would page me to the phone to say that a case was filed against me and if I didnt pay 1,087 with a green dot card I would be arrested. All 3 people were hard to understand but I have contacted the BBB on them. Hopefully people google the number before sending these people money. Also hope something gets done about them harassing people.

I got the same call today saying his name was Melvin. Said I owed money on a payday loan and it would cost me 5-6 thousand dollars if it went to court. If I wanted to settle outside of court it would be 1365 dollars. He wanted me to pay 365 now and make installments. He told me to buy a green dot card and once I did that to call him back with the information. Said he would wait 10 mins because he will be leaving his office. I got scared and told him I will be purchasing the money dot card and when he did not hear from me called me at work. I told him to fax over the documents and he said they would email or send me the documents as soon as he recieved the money. I never did send it to him today so he called my cell and left me a message saying he will contact me again tomorrow and if its not resolved tomorrow he wishes me luck with the issue. I will see what happens tomorrow when I don't send him anything and tell him off. These creeps need to be caught!

Melvin Alspon answered 404-902-6634 asked for his complete name, Companies name, and companies official business address. He attempted to give me a case number where he said they had filed a law suit in the State of Illinois (Small Claims) to collect on a debt. Melvin Alspon REFUSED to give me any information.

We stated that we have not received a summons, nor a complaint. If they do file suit we then will have identifiable information and can file a law suit for unfair, deceptive, and also abusive practices under the the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). It's a two-edged blade they file suit; which is promptly dismissed and we file suit where they are required to provide the court with all information we asked. In short, we collect they go to jail.

FURTHER, we found not information listed under the name of Melvin Alspon registered with the Corporations Division of the State of Illinois.

We further check with the Corporations Registry in Georgia and again found "NO NAME LISTED".

This Ryan Smith called me from 404-902-6634. The voice sounds just like the last person that called me from phone number 215-904-3443 but the name used then was John Wright. I have reported John Wright to the police and now this Ryan Smith starts calling me today. This is just so messed up. I hate answering any phone calls right now. I did not return Ryan Smith's call because I looked number up on google and got this website, which is the same website that the police gave me on John Wright.

I just received a call from these people also.  Gentleman names Mike and he stated four police men were going to come to my HR office and arrest me.  I know they are a scam.

I got the same call but the id said unknown and the call was o seconds long but a voice message said some guy named mike george wanted me to call 4049026634 and that it was time sensitive and that if he didnt hear from my lawyer that he would press charges. He also had a thick indian accent and i heard a lot of chatter in the background. Also i kind of knew it was bs cause im 15, ive never paid taxes, and i dont have a lawyer. Also i called the number but it said that the number wasnt in service.

I got another call from Samantha . She called me on my job. Since I found out that they were scamming people.I tried to give them a little scare too. Ild them  I knew they'rescamming people. I told them  I had reported them to ftc. I also toldthem they were going hell because they were hurting people. I told them that ththe law are looking for them. I said I hope they find you and put you  in jail for life.She said the law will not find them.I kept talking and she Hung up on me. Tell me what you think.

i had a person call my work and then tried to tell me i owed on a payday loan i never even heard of.  But 2 week before

I received a call from this # telling me to have my Attorney call regarding a lawsuit filed on 3/20/13.  He slipped up and accidenttaly asked me for my card number for Quick Cash Advance.  This is a scam and I will NEVER apply for a Payday advance online anymore!  Money Mutual sucks!

I just received this call a coupole days ago from a lady named Samantha, stating I owe money from Quick Cash Advance saying I owe about $798.00 and I need to pay up or else I will have to go to court and pay $5,798 (lawyers fees, etc....). she had my information, but I reported it to FTC and also I call and harass her everyday, she gets really pissed, whenver I ask her questions.......so I thank everyone for their post, because I was real close to actually going to pay them!! I had to slap myself for a second.................long story short she is expecting a payment from me on Friday, the location of the company is a fraud, the Western Union info. she gave me is a fraud location, they said they were located in Atlanta but the Western Union states Florida.............so people please beware!!!

I am receiving phone call from this lady named Samantha and Indian accent stating that if I don't pay the amount 0f 698.98 from several pay day loans that I was going to be Arrested on my job.  That I would need a lawyer and my life would be ruin and my family. That I needed to purchase agreen card Money Pak with the pay pal logo with the ebay on it.  It had my life miserable and can't concentrate on my job. these people need to proscuted to the fullest. I am not going to send this money to them. After reading all of the comments about for the same reasons  more for me not to do this.

Received a call at work today.  Left Message with receptionist for me to call.  I called and person that answered had a heavy Indian accent and I could not understand what he said so when they get an American to call maybe I will talk to them to find out what they want.

Got a message from a heavy accented indian man named Mike George (hahahahah yeah right) on my cell and work phone telling me I must have my attorney contact him immediately or he wishes me good luck as the situation unfolds on me.  I used *67 and called back.  He answered, Loan department.  I said, what company is this? He asked for my name. I said you are not getting my name.  Then he asked if I spoke to anyone there and I said no, I want to know why you are calling my place of business.  What is the name of your company? He said Clifton group.  Then he asked for the phone # that they called me on. I said no way am I giving that out and he said ok thanks and hung up on me.  What a piece of s***. This is a scam from India.  Same guy called me on Thanksgiving twice and threatened first to kill then second to have me arrested.  F*** him.  No way can he come after me.

They called my work 7 times in 2 days, when I got the message and called back they said, I had a loan that wasbt paid back I knew it was a crock of s*** cause I never had a loan ever, but somehow they had my social, adress, and place of employment, they tried telling me I could pay them $125 today by going to walmart and getting a green dot card but that I only had 2 hours to call them back or they were gonna send a suepenna by monday morning and I would have to pay $6000 in court cost, I told them I would call back with the $125, my fiance being the smart man he is knew something wasnt right, so he googled the company they said I had the loan through (quick cash loans) and couldnt find anything on them, so he googled the phone number they were calling from and we found this post, that confirmed our susspision of it being a scam, my fiancee then called them back pretending to give them the green dot card number, once he got to the last 4 numbers he asked the man if he thought he was stupid that in america we have google and we knew he was a scammer the guy proceded to tell him our $125 didnt mean anything they had collected $8000 today and hung up on us

My husband got a message from a man then a women saying that he needs to call back or they feel sorry for what is going to happen to him.  They called his job and told him that police are going to pick him up if he doesn't respond to them.  He was to ask for David.  I call and asked for David this man with a very heavy Indian accent came on phone and would not tell me name of firm and started calling me fool and all other names.   When my husband called I was on 3way he told him he was from Clifton law firm in Atlanta ga.  We asked for owner and he was rude and said he was in the UK and that we need to settle right away.  This is a scam they want your money don't give any or confirm any information.  Called police and they also said it was a scam..

It is very hard to make it stop.  This started 3 years ago with me.  I have a series of different people call with different names and they come through on different numbers also.I am fortunate enough that they call work it comes straight to my desk phone so I just hang up. I ignore them on my cell.  I find they go through a flurry of calls over a couple of days and then there is nothing for a while.  It is usually about a 4/6 week cycle when I receive the calls.  Sometimes it will be 2 or 3 months. It is completely counter productive to argue with them - I just hang up and ignore them. I printed the information from the news/police and have that handy if it ever interfers or causes an issue at work.

Received a call for an employee. Woman said her name was Amy Jones in barely distinguishable English. When i asked what it was in reference to, she said a "Legal" matter. "Impunitive" that i have my employee call her back. lol  Have the number now. Turning over to the authorities.

I just received a harrassing phone call from some woman named Samantha suppossedly in the back office of the Clifton Law Firm Group in Georgia, she too had a heavy Indian accent. She demanded I pay $475.98 for an online payday loan-Quick Cash.  She went on and on about how I am going to be sued for over $6,000,but can settle out of court. She said the funds had been deposited into my Bank of America account, but couldn't give me any info. on date, time.  I told her that was a lie and why hadn't I received anything in writing. She knew where I lived, worked, and my banking info. Guess I need to stay off the internet, funny thing she said that the lender had notified me more than 15 times in my gmail, perhaps they went to spam. I just double checked my inbox and spam and no email notifying me of any deposit into my bank account. These people must think I am stupid!!

we also recieved calls from Mike and Melv, saying that we had an unpaid loan. The only loan we had was paid in full. This is a scam. Report it please! The more people who file the report, the faster something will be done. See below for a link to the FBI internet crimes unit to file a complaint.
The calls began at my husbands place of employment, now they are calling us non stop. They tried to get us to purchase a Green dot Money Pak card and call them back with the PIN number. On the money pak card it clearly states that if anyone requests the PIN from you, it is a scam. Please don't fall for this trick no matter how much they try to scare you.
