This company HAS to be part of a big boiler room company. They have called my house, my daughter ( who  lives out of town), and even my 80 year old sickly mother. They told them I was wanted for check fraud and pleaded with them to please connect with me because I don't understand that they are trying to HELP me through this process. They even told my mother that the sheriff was on his way to my house, which of course sent her and her bad heart into a panic storm. I'm afraid that these people may call and really hurt her one day. I wasn't worried because I've never written a fraudulent check in my life. So, I actually would welcomethe sheriff to pick me up. That way I would be able to identify someone from their business to sue. Hard as it may seem to do, I say just ignore them. Remember, bad credit i s neithY8U9er a criminal offense nor a fatal disease.

Maybe you are the one we are naming in a law suit because Federal Recovery Group has broken every law in the book trying to collect a debt we don't even owe.

You are so wrong on so many levels. I will not begin with your poor grammar. I will begin with the fact that is ILLEGAL to present yourself as a member of law enforcement when you are not. It is ILLEGAL to discuss someone's debt with anyone but the debtor. How can you be a legitimate company when you can't even follow those two simple rules. There are many more infractions committed on behalf of your company. The bottom line is whether the debts that you are calling about are valid, you continue to breK the law.

I suggest you get a dictionary and a grammar teacher, and proceed with mastering that nefore you attempt to act like you know the law (which you obviously do not).

To everyone else on here, they are SCAMMERS! I have been getting these fake threatening calls from them even after a cease & desist letter was sent to them AND after my attorney contacted them. This has been going on since February of last year. As you can see, I have not been arrested and am not in jail. I have gotten a new job and passed a criminal background check last month. They are trying to scare you into paying them. Don't believe a word they say. I also suggest thag you make all of your social networking profiles as private as possible and delete your information from sites like mylife.com and spokeo.com. Do a google search with your name and go to the privacy section of each site that your name comes up on to find out how to have your info deleted. If you can, change your phone number too. I guess none of your cases were as big as mine cuz i thought they were fake too they email and mailed all my info and i kept ignoring them like any debt collector a month later im in court and served 90 dats because of proof they had from my bank that i didnt think they had so if they are scammers then the court system fell for it too now im $1,376 further into debt for a lawyer that i thought could prove them a scam never again so yall can keep thinkin they playin they talk to u nasty cause they kno they cant be beat

No Federal Recovery Group is a legitimate debt collection company i actually work for them. We're a government agency. You may not know me from a can of paint but im not a scamer. Our job is to call and collect money and we take so much into because we strive for commission .

if it's one thing i know its that there are a lot of scams out there but you know for a fact wether or not you took out a loan or not and if you paid it back..i say if you know you owe the loan get the right paper work from the company and try to handle it. scams are things that are made up not things that are factual people may get made at how people may collect but that does not mean that its a scam

I received a call from this company and they call themselves Agents.  That its a serious Federal matter, and that they will be summoning you in the county you live in.  However they County they gave is adjoining County and not the one I live in.  They don't receive money at their business location and they operate out of the Sheraton Hotel in Atlanta Ga.  My boyfriend called the Hotel and they said there is no suite number 8223.  And they don't have any company operating out of their Hotel, but that is the address given to him.  I am aware of the FDCPA and that they have to say who they are, and give you address and their name.  I will not give a pre-dated credit card or check to anyone.  Unless I have someone give me a letter letting me know I owe this debt, than I'm not going to respond any further.  If they are going to sue me, I will deal with that.  Furthermore, when asked if I was to settle this, I would want a letter showing that it is a settlement so that I would not get further calls that I still owed.  This Agent said only after I settle will they give this.

are you an employee of this company?  What you just stated is entirely false.  People check out the laws with your checks division in your local county regarding check loans.  This is not fraud.

They called me today, but they're fraudulant company. They have the last four of my social, but I have to file a police report against the company and the individual that called me. He was studdering when I asked if they were legit. I called BBB helpline for harassing calls, and the guy was helpful and gave me sevral questions to ask the so called rep! They are l;ike me and you except they are thieves and going down and I will keep you all posted.

I called them blocked and they kept disconnecting. so i called t877-700-5790 and they gave me questions to ask the b*****ds! the number was damn near the same except last two digits. I got the call from 404-921-9717, and after hearing the rep Jon Thorton, I called Ace and they told me the info was sent to a collector, ok so then it was sent to National, then National said it went to Nirvana, so I called NIrvanna, and the let me know someone brought it (my information)  from them, and after talking back to FRG's Jon, he slipped up that he was a debt collection agency. Federal is suppose to scare you. he also said, " this is an attempt to collect debt", and informed me the call was being recorded. He even begged me to go to Walmart or Cvs and purchase a pre-paid debit card tonight and he will call me for the number in the morning, and insisted that his company only accepts credit cards or bank info. WHO DOES THAT??? FA REAL??? A BUSINESS NEED A PRE-PAID CARD'S NUMBER WITH OUT ME PUTTING CASH ON CARD NOW! YEAH, IF IT LOOKS LIKE A SCAM, SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM, IT'S A SCAM! Everybody this is just a collection agency they aren't licensed in the state of Texas they call with bull s*** acting like federal agents but when you hit them with the question of what charge they can't answer I went to my county no warrants nothing I called them back they don't have your ssn like they say don't worry bout them yall and the one lady on here work for them talking bout she is in jail now really you have time in jail to browse the internet and put this s*** on here F*** them they ain't legit at all charge that payday loan to the game they not getting paid

I received a call from this FRG for the first time today and the first thing they told me, before they said the call was being recorded which is common sense, is that I have a payday loan that they are about to send to my county and prosecute on in 11 days. I tried to resolve this 2 years ago with the other debt collectors but they would never send me the paper work and I am a victim of identity theft. Is this legit and can they file charges on me. I don't want to pay on something that is not mine but I am a full time student and cannot afford to go to jail or worse since I have 3 kids. What exactly can they do and what are my choices in this matter. Someone help please!!!

Agent whoever called last night to inform me of a very serious matter regarding my full name and SSN...so I called back this morning and no one answered...is this real?

They call me and my friends making threats about a fraud.  This was  a check loan that was paid but the store clerks were keeping the  money.  And now they are coming after people that had loans because they know you don't have the proof and neither do they.  So ignore them!  Are tell them as I have you and my attorney can resolve the matter.

So did they turn the check over to county officials like they said they would

I received a call from a locan wallace and he left his number of 877.847.6666 x. 1025. he left a message stating for me to call him back or he will forward my information to his clients in the county where i live for a payday loan.  Is this company legit?  What can they do for an unpaid payday loan taken out 2 years ago? Can I state that I only will deal with the actual payday loan place and do they have to leave me alone?  I have already asked them in the past for written proof of the unpaid loan but the never sent anything that I know of.
