I have been receiving these for the past 15 years, the latest one is requesting $487.00 for an internet yellow pages listing,
unfortunately this is a legal practice but the faxes themselves may not be, as someone above mentioned they would like contact from you to prove they have a  existing business relationship (EBR) with your company, this will void a citation for sending unwanted faxes.
I have been told to fax the fax to the fax police (a company that claims if you fax it to them, they will stop the fax and collect $20.00 for each unsolicited fax they receive)
This too is probably a scam. Below is the response to unwanted faxes from the BBB.

Invoice for $487.  Received the invoice twice once in Sept. 2013 and again in November 2013.

I received a fax from Your Yellow Book for $487! Have you visited the youryellowbook.com website? HA I traced the site to being hosted by godaddy and sent in a scam report about them.

My company received a fax from Your Yellow Book for $487.00. Now they are calling and telling me I have to pay today or get charged additional fees.

Got the same fax as everyone else, except they want to charge my $487 annually that is automatically renewed every year. Do people really fall for this crap?

We recieved a fax from these people, the invoices have gone up to $147.00

There is no phone number on the "invoice"  Just the fax and an email now.

The address to remit payment was PO Box 95343  Oklahoma City, OK 73143, so I think they have changed numbers, addresses, and their faxes to continue to scam people

THEY HAVE LOST THEIR MINDS!!!

This is the 3rd year of them calling and faxing saying that I owe them over $500.00. I never approved anything thru them. I never told them that we wanted their services. Crazy!

Filthy scum sucking con artists claiming they are operating out of Oklahoma, however the last time I checked they were based in Panama. I suggest we take back our canal that we paid for and just flood that country.

Same as everyone else.  A scam fax but my quote was $147, same PO box address and fax number no real address or phone number to be contacted.  Fax heading to the shredder.

Received a fax from this number. when I looked it up it appears to be a cell phone.

TODAY RECIEVED FAX FROM THIS # BILLING FOR $147.00 FOR ADVERTISING.  THIS SCAM HAS YET TO BE STOPPED ALTHOUGH OVER THE PAST YEAR THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS IN NEW YORK AND INDIANA, BBB, & CANADIAN ANTI-FRAUD CENTRE.  (THEY ARE BELIVED TO BE BASED IN CANADA.)  THE FAX ADRESS LISTED ON THIS ONE IS OKLAHOMA CITY, OK.  IGNORE IT!  ANY RESPONSE YOU GIVE THEM, THEY WILL TRY TO USE IT TO "PROVE" YOU HAVE A BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM.

Just received a fax with the 405-227-9534 fax number. There is no phone number and it is a proposal for $98 for my company to be listed. The address is a PO box. It is PO Box 891475 Oklahoma City, OK 73189 and to make checks payable to "your yellow book". I want to thank all of you for your posts since I always do a search on companies that I have never heard of to determine if it is a scam or not. This helped and is going in the trash.

2/15/12-Received same thing today. Fax won't go through. Since it is a proposal I won't worry, but just for my sanity I sent a refusal letter to the address listed and told them to remove my name from the call list.

Yes I received the same $98.00 "Your Yellow Book" business listing.

This is an invoice look-alike sent entirely in the hope that you will not look too closely and realize it's a "proposal" with no description of potential services rendered, and just send a check. There is no phone number, and you can bet they don't check the faxes that go to 405-227-9534. The fax received on 1/25/2012 had an address of 10600 South Penn Suite 16 #233, Oklahoma City, OK 73170. It is a box at a UPS store. I did call and inform the UPS store that one of their clients was running a fax scam and having the checks sent there. Doubtful they care, but it made me feel better.

I received a fax from "Your Yellow Book" asking me to spend $98 for a business listing.  It's a SCAM!   The only number listed for contact is a fax number that I can not trace.  The "Invoice/Proposal" gives no time frame for this billing (Weekly? Monthly? Annually?)  

The internet is full of warnings about this sort of scam!!  Do not accept this offer under any circumstances .... it is a rip-off!!

I read everything before I commit so I did not get caught.   :-)

They call our office non stop and refuse to let us talk to a supervisor or give us a telephone number to be removed.  Started receiving faxes today to sell an ad for $98.00. SCAM.

Got the same fax on 11/14/2011. Came on the back end of another Yellowpages Local Directory scam that we are not paying!

Received a call soliciting for an ad in Your Yellow Book.  Received a fax with the above quote $98.00 today.
