got a call from 1-910-428-9220 said they were verifying info for an online yellow pages, read me our information and asked me to confirm I did then got passed off to a "quality control" person who asked the same exact things and then went on about they would be sending info to us about a service that was $39.99 a month I hung up. they called back I said do not call they called then from 1-405-415-4232 (Oklahoma number) and asked why I hung up said don't call again anyway they called back over 12 times I let it go to voice mail.

Call comes in from 405-415-4131 caller ID showing OKLAHOMA. Caller hangs up if no-one answers but is persistent about calling all day. Wish someone could find out who this is.

Get a call from this number asking for my mother-in-law. Guy says he's with MCM records. Tell him she does not live there. He hangs up. Called again teh next day.

Called me at work and said he was with California courts and he had a case against me for a payday loan.  I asked him what company but I couldn't understand what he said.  I told him that if he had something legal against me he needed to send me the documentation.  He said he couldn't do that and I told him until he could prove I owe the money then I took it I didn't owe him.  I also told him it was my work phone he was calling and to stop.  He asked if I would provide him with a cell phone and he would call me on that.  I told him that I wouldn't give him that.  I ended up hanging up on him.

For three days caller called from 405 523-3462 to my elderly parents home telling them they won 2 million dollars and they just needed to send 1500 to them for the IRS. they said they would come by and pick upthe check the next day.
Is this a skype number? It shows a local number. has anyone had this epxerience

ABOUT 2:30 PM OKLAHOMA TIME I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL ASKING FOR ME AND I SAID THIS IS HER THEY THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT I HAD A LAW SUITE AGAINST ME AND MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER THEY NEEDED MY LAWYERS NAME AND I SAID WHAT.. WHAT FOR I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU SPEAK SLOWER AND THEY GOT AN EVEN MORE HOSTILE ATTITUDE AND VOICE SOUNDED LIKE FROM INDIA FROM THE FIRST PERSON AND THE SECOND VOICE WAS A SOFTER SPOKEN ACCENTED PERSON STATING THAT THEY WOULD HAVE THE POLICE PICK ME UP AT 11 AM TOMORROW FROM MY JOB SITE AND I WOULD APPEAR IN COURT THEN AND I ASKED THEM WHO THEY WERE WITH AND THEY SAID EASYCARE.COM I LOOKED IT UP AND ITS A WARRANTY SITE FOR VEHICLES AND I REPORTED IT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND OTHER PLACES THEY GAVE ME UP TO THE FEDERAL LEVEL AND ALSO DID A POLICE REPORT. I SEARCHED WWW.OSCN.NET AND LOOKED MY NAME UP NO WARRANTS ARE THERE POLICE OFFICER SAID IF THERE WAS THEY WOULD HAVE IT ALREADY IN THE SYSTEM THAT EVEN IF I OWED SOMEONE THEY COULD NOT ARREST ME THEY WOULD HAVE TO TAKE ME TO COURT. EVERYONE I HAVE SPOKE TO HAS SAID IT IS A SCAM. FIRST 2 CALLS WAS FROM WINNETKA, CA  3RD AND LAST WAS FROM OKLAHOMA CITY AND WHEN WE CALL BACK IT HAS A FAST BUSY SIGNAL?

Got the call about 5 minutes ago, asked for someone that I've never heard of. Only had this number for about 3 weeks now, so must've been the person that had it before. I told them that they have a wrong number & to remove it from their calling list. Lady stated that she was told this was the best contact number for said person. Told her again to remove it from their contact list. She then developed a rude tone of voice & said "You have a nice day." I then stated to remove the number from their list. "Have a nice day" with an even more rude tone of voice. I then demanded to get a supervisor, she hung up on me. Like everyone else, called back to only get a busy signal. Tried from land & cell lines.

This is a local number used by Skype for some of its users to make US calls, as part of the Skype subscription.

They called my cell phone and asked about personal info about my ex husband. all though he deserves it i didn't give them any info. wierd       also went to call back and it was busy

this number has been showing up on my caller ID for over a year, Answer the phone and no one will talk.then they hang up.

It is a number from Skype.  My husband called me from Belgium on his iPod Touch with Skype, and it came through as this number.  Other calls from him via Skype have come through as 615-724-7999 or just as UNKNOWN.   So I'd assume that it could be anyone using Skype to call you, and not always the same Skype account number (I can assure you my husband did not call you guys!)

Got a call from this number just now off a craigslist ad. Said they were going to kill me. I hung up. Sounded like a a very good computer program simulation but responded quickly to questions. I think their level of excitement is escalating.

i did just file a complaint w the attny gen but I dont know what good it will do , i have done this several times on a few of these numbers that do this and i have no idea what happens. the attny gens office doesnt ever get back with you to acknowledge anything.

this number called us 13 times last thursday. everytime i try to call them its busy. they just called again my daughter answered it because i was on my cell phone on a business call. i wanted to talk to them. im sure they will call back. )=  
they asked for my ex husband who never lived here while i have had this number , like five yrs, and then she informed him they had the wrong number. they just sat there and she hung up. she said it sounded like he was "trying" to sound hispanic.

Just got a call to my work phone from this number.  He first tried using an accent (which doesn't phase me, as I deal in international business), then when I asked who was calling, changed quickly to another person's accent.  I warned them I would hang up (they didn't say anything specific).  

I think it is just kids playing pranks (or an extremely ignorant/immature adult or adults).  Too bad they have nothing positive to do with their life - there are so many things that free time can be used towards good.  Pity them, poor things need a life, another job, and/or a purpose...  Fools use their time unwisely.

caller id said Oklahoma City 405-415-4131. Caller asked to speak to the owner in a bad Nigerian accent. I said the owner wasn't here could I take a message and he said no thank you bye... Most likely a bad scammer...

Received the same caller while working, claiming to be our Iranian owner. Told him he was lying and his accent was a bad imitation. Caller said 'okay' and hung up. I tried returning the call but no answer.

It is a random skype number

Got a call from this number asking to speak to someone I knew. Told them they didn't live there, caller hung up. Got a call the next day asking for the same family member.  Again told them they were not at my address, caller hung up again.  I called my phone company and registered a complaint.

Have been getting calls from this number all day long. (405)415-4131. Caller hangs up on answering machine if no-one answers and is very persistant about calling back. Looked up the prefix 415 for area code 405 and found out that this number is assigned out by:

i had 3 missed calls from 405-415-4131 on my cell phone. When I tried to call them back my number was rejected by their phone. it is really strange.

Two men call from this number...Michael Thomas from Nigeria and another man from the UK...I met both on Match.com...Michael Thomas asks for money.  They both have simular Nigerian accents.  The call comes to both my cell and home #, which I gave them both.

These people have called numerous times over the past couple of weeks, each time asking for a different person to talk to.  When I tell them that the individual they are looking for not only does not work in this office, nor exists, they keep persisting.  

I have gotten numerous places of work from this group. When I asked one time, the man told me the FBI.  I asked him, "You mean the Federal Bureau of Investigation?!" and he told me yes.  Another time they said they worked for an ATM company, and then today I couldn't understand what he told me.

Very fishy.  Not trusting them at all.

Caller hung up when I answered.

We just got a phone call from this number. The person said their name is Rachael and asked for my husband. When my husband got on the phone, they had hung up. I called the number back and it said, "The number you have reached is not available or the subscriber is out of the service area" which sounds like a cell phone number to me. I think that is strange because everyone else on here is saying they call it back and get a very fast busy signal.

So i had 4 missed calls from 405-415-4131 on my cell phone. When I tried to call them back my number was rejected by their phone. Seems really strange. They have been moved to my reject call list.

Got a call from this number. Someone saying they were a family member looking to borrow money. Tried calling back to mess with them and got a busy signal. Phone company (AT&T and the Sheriff's Dept called the number too with same result) definitely someone fishing for info/scam.
