Had a few calls with the same bull that he is from the sheriffs dept.

Constantly call me and then hang up, am on the do not call registry, and have been for months! I get so tired of these scam artists!

They are calling with the same crap about being with the Sheriffs dept.

I didn't get inside to answer before they hung up.  I called that number back and a recording said " all sponsors were busy at that time. Call back later."

Called and asked for my wife by name.
My wife has advanced Alzheimer's - I handed her the phone and the guy spoke to her for quiet a while, then abruptly hung up.
I'm a bad boy.

What a moron! (the caller, of course) LOL....

Asked  for husband by first name and I said he's unavailable and the man replied " I'm so sorry for your loss!" Than he hung up.

scammers calling for money they say they are  with the police departments sheriffs department firefighters etc you name it SCAM

same here said he was from the sheriffs department asking for money I hung up and blocked the number

They asked for my husband by name and when I said he wasn't here and asked to take a message, he said thank you and hung up quickly.

Asked to speak to my husband (called him by his name) when I asked him what he wanted he said he was calling on behalf of the sheriff's department.  I told him I was aware of these scams and he immediately hung up. Tried to call back, they will not answer.

I was expecting a phone call, so answered phone, they ask for me by my first  name, then told me he was from the American something Fire Department.  I immediately told him to take me off his call list, and hung up.

This # belongs 2 the sheriff's benefit drive asking 4 donations. Weather the $ actually goes to that charity, 1 would need to verify with the sheriff's dept. If it's legit. I did not donate any money myself.

Phone rang twice, then whoever was calling, hung up. Left no message.
