The phone numbers no longer work. You need to call (360) 328-8000 for Pacific Telecom the owner of this illegal phone telemarketing company. You will not receive a live person but you will receive a voice mail. I suggest you contact the FCC and your phone company. Tell your local phone service provider you wish to log all calls from this number then contact your attorney when you have received at least 20 logged calls. Have your attorney file a civil lawsuit against the company and also file an injunction that will terminate them from doing business in the USA any longer by having your attorney contact the FCC,

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group. They insist that they do not initiate illegal telemarketing calls, however they are involved in managing the calling lists for their "3rd party contractors" who make the telemarketing calls.

Pacific Telecom Communications Group is a group that appears to happily provide telecom services to the low life businesses that operate illegal telecommunications business doing illegal telemarketing with robo callers. Perhaps if we all contact our representatives and ask that they pass laws that hold companies like this directly responsible for thier clients if they don't discontinue service when notified of offenses then we won't have to put up with this any more.
Be aware their claims apparently are totally FALSE, and stating the TRUTH IS NOT libelous!
These people appear to be the engine that powers telemarketing fraud. They DO appear to profit by helping telemarketing frauds and scams by happily providing telecom services such telemarketers.

This number calls illegally, but the doj in MT doesn't seem to care.
Perhaps if we all call the MT DOJ to complain they will get tired of taking calls and start doing their job which is to prosecute companies that operate illegally from thier jurisdiction.

To whom it may concern:
There has been a recent increase in online misinformation pertaining to Pacific Telecom Communications Group (Pacific Telecom) as to who we are and what we do as a business.
Pacific Telecom is a telecommunications service provider specializing in local origination inbound services for large commercial users - we are specifically a B2B phone company.
* Pacific Telecom is a phone company - plain and simple
* We do not telemarket
* We do not engage anyone or any business to telemarket on our behalf
* We do not own or operate any calling centers or telemarketing companies
If you believe you are experiencing call issues with one of our subscribers please contact us directly - while we may not be able to tell you who called (FCC rules, empowered by the U.S. Telecommunications Act of 1996, prohibits disclosure of subscriber/customer information barring proper compulsion) we can most certainly field your complaint and help find a satisfactory resolve to whatever issue you bring to our attention.
For the most timely response you can contact Pacific Telecom via -
EMAIL: abuse@pacifictelecommunications.com
PHONE: 1-360-328-8000
Pacific Telecom takes these matters very seriously and will strive to resolve your complaint in a timely and efficient manner. Similarly, Pacific Telecom takes very seriously libelous statements and misrepresentations and is taking measures to aggressively resolve whenever possible.
Sincerely,
Customer Service,
Pacific Telecom

Pacific Telecomm appears to be running a new scam involving a political survey rewarded with a free cruise. They use the free cruise to get credit card info to cover taxes, whatever. Keep your ears open, if you receive the credit card interest rate scam calls, you'll be receiving the survey/cruise scam calls, too.

the do not call list only works to stop honest entities who are registered with the D..N..C --if it is not registered it is open season on these people. The only recourse is a federal law holding the phone companies economically liable for misuse of the phone numbers.

Steve Hamilton, Estela Hamilton, and Michael Pittman of Pacific Telecom Communications Group are the ones behind these scams. The have registered as a public utility in several states in an attempt to shield themselves from their illegal telemarketing activities.
What makes it so comical is that Steve Hamiliton actually applied and was granted utility status in at least one state simply using a Gmail account and a bogus phone number.

Thanks Todd! Since they continue to call my cell phone, it's really awesome to have Mr. Hamilton's cell phone so I can return the favor! Each time they call me, I'll just turn around and call him right back. Goes straight to voicemail, but that's okay! I just leave nice lone messages about what I think of him and his nasty company.

This number calls over and over again about mortgage rates. Then when I get a live operator and tell them I am not interested before I can get the last word out they hang up. What can I do?
JJK 2011-06-06 20:47:59 Unknown
These hang-up calls are very annoying since we are on the Do-Not-Call list state and nationwide. When you call back it says "this call can not be completed as dialed"! Go figure!
clegpeg 2011-06-06 20:47:59 Unknown
New #, same old crap. Shows up on caller id- Brooks Partners. I never answer #'s from people I don't know. They all pretty much do not leave a message either. I'm kinda getting used to it. Can't seem to stop them. On all DNC lists. Just let it ring.

Excellent, excellent work Todd.
I also find that no one at Pacific Telecom takes any phone calls - as if the CLEC itself is a bunch of crooks. I don't understand how an entire CLEC can hide from scrutiny.
Here is the complaint form to complain to the California Attorney General about Pacific Telecom Communications group both hiding from any scrutiny (like by having a phone number) and handing out phone numbers to these crooks:

I am tired of getting calls from this company. When I answer it, no one is even on the line; and when I call it back it doesn't ring, and I don't get through to anyone. I'm guessing it's supposed to be a telemarketing call, as the Caller ID says it is from a company called Pacific Telecom.
Karen 2011-01-07 21:12:16 Unknown
I keep getting phone calls from the number it is a computer saying that I can become debt free, it also says if i hit 2 my number will be removed after doing this several times I hit one to speak to someone, as soon as the man answered the phone, he asked if I was interested, as I went on to tell him to remove my phone number, He HUNG UP ON ME!! I am very mad about this and they still keep calling!!'
I want it to stop NOW!!
Rodnil 2011-01-07 18:52:30 Unknown
Correction to my previous posting - they called on 1/6 NOT 1/9. Sorry and please everyone remember to NEVER give personal information over the phone.
