Called me today with a robocall loan modification scam.  I filled up their voicemail as much as possible with bad music and filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry.

2 calls from this number.  I don't answer any calls from numbers I don't know.  Thanks for the postings.

How can I get these b*****ds to stop calling my cell phone?  How the hell did they get my cell anyway?  Ugh - I don't even own a friggin house!  I have an apartment LOL.

In my opinion, these are credit card scammers trying to dupe people into giving info over the phone.  The robocall claimed to be originating from one of my credit card companies, and gave a partial number that doesn't match up to anything.  They offered to renegotiate my interest rate in accordance with the new federal law.  Probably thieves...

You have reached the Federal Do Not Call List.  If you attempt to call again, then you will be reported to the FCC!

I look at the number and hit the agnore button I don't waste my time answering or calling back.

I have lodged a complaint with the FCC.   I went through the prompts on the phone message when it asked if I no longer wished to receive calls or didn't need a credit card interest rate modified, hitting 3 and hanging up.  I blocked the caller and still receive phone calls from them.  Today I called the number somewhere in Maryland and a voicemail message was left by some male deliberately slurring his words into something unintelligent.  Blocking the number and hoping the complaint to the FCC helps.

These jerks won't quit calling!!!  They call from Montana area code, but like the previous posts say, change the number to fool your call block or DNC requests!! This is S T R E T C H I N G the regulations a little too far!!

I just called the number back, and it gave the option of being put on their "do not call" list. Guess what I did?

I have got a call from this # every day for the last week... never leaves a message, I guess because it is a robot.

Called today (7/28/10), more crap from area code 406.  Same people but the number keeps changing.

Good luck reporting these scam artists to the FCC or donotcall.gov and getting ANY relief.  I have reported them multiple times and STILL get the calls 2-3 times a week.  I've tried pushing all different numbers when they call and can never get an actual person and even pretended to be an attorney on one message I left them. I don't see anything stopping these losers...

This number kept on calling me throughout the day and do not leave a message.  The voice recording says "we want to help your home, as it has been foreclosed, which my home is sold!"  There's no live person to speak to.

These people will not stop calling me!!! Even after I press the appropriate number to stop receiving calls!!

I think these calls are coming from GreenTree Mortgage Services.  B of A sold my 2nd mort to GreenTree earlier in year.  I pay automatically every month on the 13th, which is OK according to their guidelines. Never had a late payment, ever. Now this # calls me sometimes several times a day from about the 5th of the month to the 13th, even though the record shows I pay on 13th & never had a late pay.  Now that I know their practice, am ignoring the calls.

Got a call from this number today. I'm going to save it under contacts "Telemarketer" - so I know to IGNORE!

Spread the word amongst ourselves with these spammer's calls.......simply mark their caller ID as scammers, loan mod, whatever, so when they call again, ANSWER the call, but DON'T hang up for a few minutes and DON'T talk to them...this ties up their phone lines!!  

Flush a toilet, read the paper, munch on something, let them listen to your radio or TV, etc....believe me, this works all the time!!

Soon, they will get the message and it beats the non-working DO-NOT-CALL LIST.....the scammers will remove your phone number off their calling list, since it's now going to cost them long-distance toll calls, LOL!!
