Telemarketer
Yup, these same bozos are still at it:
"We are calling from Windows."
"We help your computer with Vista and Windows Operating System"

Same garbled language, etc.

This smells of a scam.

FYI... To prove they are a Microsoft Certified partner, they want you to call 201-234-4604

So, I called them... More people from India...

How do I prove that you are Microsoft, so I know zTechSolutions.Page.TL is REAL?????

He said, "Take my word for it"

I asked him where his groups info was located on the microsoft site, and he said it was NOT located anywhere...

I smell a FRAUD....

They want you to allow them to remote login to your system and they will fix "for free" all of the problems on your system... I told him that I'm logging in (which I was not) and he said he could not get in... So, I told him to hold on a second, "my friend in Microsoft Tech Support in Redmond can help him fix the problem"... He told me not to bother him... he kept looking for my system... NOTHING.. (duh, I hadn't loggin in yet.... Then I said, "Here, I going to threeway him into this call. This is talking too long"...

Funny, he hung up...

I hope nobody is stupid enough to think that Microsoft has hired a bunch of people in India to call people and tell them they have problems with their PC and they just wanted to login to your PC and fix it for you free of charge. Last I checked, Microsoft CHARGES for tech support...

Calls from these idiots are still coming.  Sounded fishy to me.  When he gave me the ztechsolutions url...I came here.  All my Avanquest Utilities show there is no problem with my computer...thanks for the forum.  Next time they call, I'll just hang up and disconnect the phone.

I did also receive a call from the same Company i.e ztechsolutions.page.tl. But prior to receiving the call I had received a promotional emails too. Although my Computer was completely affected by Virus I could not connect to the Internet nor I could open the Internet Explorer. Every time I clicked on the Internet Explorer Icon another icon of Internet explorer was created. Not only this, but also I could not open up any of my applications. And there was always a pop up coming up as ANTI VIRUS 2010, I tried a lot but could not even remove it. Every Time I tried closing it, it poped up again. I had restarted the computer 5-6 times & was about to go mad. So upon discussion with my wife & brother in law, who works in an IT firm in Florida, I decided to take it to a Computer Store, where they told me I had to pay $215 to fix it. This is ridiculous!!! $200 for fixing the computer than also one time. Than when I was about to dump the computer, my wife received a call from these guys. Who charged me just $133.49 for 1 year Technical Support & remotely they fixed my computer. There was my data & all other files which was intact & all the viruses & all other problems were gone. It was not for them that I would have thrown this computer away & now The Computer runs even faster than I had expected. Tremendous Work done! I recommend my friends also for their Support if needed & also to them who ever read my blog. They are the best in the business at least according to me.

I've been receiving random calls from this number, they claim I'm able to receive $1,500 as a payday advance. For one thing I never put any application for a payday advance and my guess is they got my name and number from someplace else. They're really annoying because I already told them not to call me but they continue anyways.

I too, am receiving calls from this number regularly, even though I have asked them not to call.  I could not understand the man who calls speaks very broken English, and yes, seemingly of Indian background.  There is no way to reach this number back either.  I will be contacting my phone/computer company to report it, and I would suggest that any one else experiencing this harassment, do the same.

Hi I was just posting here to ask for help on recovering my account. I've already opened a ticket for the account recovery process but nothing seems to be happening.  I think when they hacked it they removed my security question. I no longer have access to the recovery email address I used to set up the account.

I get a call from these fools everyday, its always some idiot with a heavy indian accent and a noisy background.  I've never sat on the phone with them to find out who they are, I usually just yell at them and tell them stop calling me then they hang up immediately.  Today I actually stayed on to ask them the name of the company and whats his reason for calling me...He said the name of the company 3x and each time he said he said it more choppy than the last.  I told him I cannot make out what he is saying and I need to know where he got my number from, then he hung up on me.  I will be waiting for their phone call tomorrow. I'm willing to play this out to see what scam they are running.  I will keep you guys posted

These "winners" are a bunch of scammers who are commiting a federal crime.

They refused to give me their supervisor and called back a number of times right after to bug me.  Heavy accent, sounds Indian or possibly like that guy "Peggy" from the credit card commercials.

I am on the Do Not Call registry so them calling me to begin with is a crime.

Received a call as above with the same phone number and caller ID.  The first time they called (about a week ago), there was nobody on the phone.  I called back, and there was an automated message asking if I wanted to be removed from the call list.

Just got a call again from them (actually still on the phone!).  Again, there's nobody on the line, and since I have audible call waiting, I just have the speaker phone on and muted.  I hope they have a really good long distance plan! XD

15 minutes so far...

These people have been calling me for over a week -- including ON Thanksgiving.  ridiculous. i finally answered and got a recorded "goodbye" message.  I hope it's the last of them, but I'm not optimistic. I created a "block caller" contact on my cell phone and it now routes the calls directly to voice mail -- where they stay on long enough just to register a 2-3 second message, without saying anything.  what is with these types of calls? it is beyond irritating.

I had seen this number appear on my phone before, but no message was left.
Tonight I answered the phone.
The man wanted to know if I use a computer with the internet.  Well, stupid question, as that describes just about everybody.  Seemed suspicious to me, so I simply asked "why" is he calling "me", he repeated his question and I repeated mine about twice, then he hung up.  The phone line was not clear, sounded like a poor quality phone line.  Anyway I Googled the number, and arrived here like other people.  Yes, definitely a scam of some sort.

This number called me @ 6:00pm on 29/11/10. As I do not know anyone with a (406) number, I let it go to the machine. No message, not important. I googled the number, I found this site.

If you are with Bell, you can block the number using *60. If its not part of your phone package, you will be charged to use it.

I just got a call from these bozos.  Some dude claiming to be with the Housing Society of Canada (I live in Ontario) with an English-is-not-to-be-speaking-the-language-of-primary wanted to know if my house was under mortgage.  No, I told him, I live in an apartment complex.  I suspected a scam so I was going to try and keep him on the phone but he excused himself and apologized for bothering me.  Googled his phone number and found this site.  I Googled on the Housing Society of Canada since I never heard of it and there appears to be one but it's not an official government agency or anything.  And I know this number is from Montana.  Be aware, folks!!!

I have been receiving calls from this number listed above:  406-720-2450 with an identification Number:  V11270534450003.  The caller claims that they are from Microsoft and that my computer connection is downloading/uploading viruses that are affecting their servers.  They also want to direct me on how I should resolve the issue...  Fishy...

Now, I am sure this isn't Microsoft policy to just call up a user and tell them that they are disrupting their servers, after all, if I am causing Microsoft servers a problem then it has to be one heck of a virus that I have on my machine.  This is all after I scanned my entire machine with BitDefender 2010 Anti-virus software and even ran Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, both programs reporting no problems.

What I've been told to do is ask the callers (if they in fact are from Microsoft), to issue me a "Quick Assist Card" so that I can use it to contact Microsoft about these issues that they are claiming they are having because of my connection.

The guys are pretty nasty in their insistence and I know for sure that they are of East Indian background due to their heavy accents.

I am guessing that this is a hoax and there is no way I am going to do what these arrogant snobs want me to do.

Be aware!

If any one else is getting the same calls, please post your comments or remarks here so that I can be assured that there is something fishy going on.

This morning I have the same calls telling me that my computer is downloading a virus that will shut down not only my computer by nationally. When I ask what company he is representing he wouldn't say, I also ask the tel. number he won't give. He asked if my computer is on, if he is allowed to monitor my computer he should know if it is on or off. Then he said that there's no choice but to shut my system off. My husband who technically knows how to use and fix it said that it was a SCAM for sure.

Be aware do not entertain the call.
