Caller rings but do not respond

Got a call from this number a couple days ago and they just hung up when my machine answered.
Caller ID lists the number as "Telemarketer"

Get a loud whistle or a loud self-defense siren and the next time they call BLAST it into their ear.

I got many calls from 406-720-2880, caller ID: TELEMARKETER - do not leave message. I always check on the internet unknown numbers. When I saw many complains - I blocked this number. But despite of block they keep call! I contacted my phone company - they said if company has many numbers on one phone line they still can get through and their caller ID will be the same!  I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry for long time but still get a lot of calls. How to stop them? I head if many people complain about the same number they put it on notice. Please file your complain at:

Learn how to play the game.....As soon as you notice they have called more than once on your caller ID...never answer, mess with their heads..no answer..then leave your Fax on at all times, you can always bypass it if it's a friend by looking at the caller ID and picking up and if it!s one of the jack***es, just let the fax do a number on their eardrums for a couple of times, they finally get it and realize it's only a fax line and you never hear from the pests....It has NEVER failed

lots of calls no VM left, we don't answer if we don't know who it is!

I've been receiving 4 to 6 calls per day from this number for at least a week.  I never answer and tonight did reverse lookup to try to figure out who it is since they never leave a message.  I found y'all!  On my caller id, it just says "out of area".  My number is supposed to be on the "no call list", guess it is not working!

The caller ID was "Telemarketer" so I did not answer and will not answer now that I know who is calling.Thanks to all of the prior posts listed here

this place called me at 7:40 pm.. The caller said she was from Eastern Research and said it very fast.  Then she asked me my age category and I told her about a close age to mine , and then about 5 questions, like my race, if I believed I could get a better job now and questions about the economy.. then she said "hold please: and said their  system they use has an issue with the call and asked my for my phone number or a call back number I could provide to them --  I told her you just called it that is how you got me on the phone . she said good bye - ... some of these survey places just do not make any sense???

call 3x day TETLMAKETER TRYING TO GET THEM TO SPOT CALL ME.

I've block them with the free phone tray program.  The next time they call my computer will pick up the line and then hang up on them.  I've been using this program for a couple of years now.  It's free.  All you need is a computer with a modem -- the modem reads the caller id and hangs up on any phone number you have entered.

All you have to do is call the number back and press option 1 to remove your number and press 1 again to confirm.  Allow 48hrs for it to update and move on with your life.

11/1/2011  5:55 pm  -  I pick up, they hang up.  My caller ID shows telemarketer -  They do not comply with the DO NOT CALL requirements. (I'm on that list of DO NOT CALL)  I want them to
STOP.

Someone from this number continues to call my cell phone number. One time I answered it and she said it was some kind of survey. I told her no thanks and not to call again. This was 10/29/2011. Later in the day they called again. I answered and I have to admit I was not very happy with them. I told them to stop calling and hung up. They called again, twice on 10/31/2011 one after 9:30 pm. I didn't answer and they left no message. TIRED OF THIS!

calling after you've asked them to stop, calling at 9:45 Sunday night (waking people up) is not acceptable. looks like there are alot of complaints on this company, they need to be shut down

called at 9:45pm Sunday night! woke me up, I have to work early in the morning. I saw this website and called back, opted out. I see some have asked verbally to remove them, I have in the past, they did not. This place is relentless and needs to be shut down!

Just spoke to them and gave them a LAW survey..... 1st question was  Do you feel calling on a weekend justifies not breaking the law .... do you feel its somewhat important, very important, or just dont care? She didnt answer that question.  2nd question was are you " What are you wearing, granny panties, thong, high cut, or commando"?there was no answer nor was there no question 3, just a dial tone. Dont Mess With Texas.

Two calls today added to my reject list.  Thanks for the information.

I called the number back and they have a way to remove your number. we'll see if it works or just validates my number and they sell it to tons of other survey people.

Please stop calling my phone number.

They call at any time at night and kept calling until I finally answered and let them have it and told the guy not to ever call again.  Everybody should report them to the FCC.

Person on the phone said he was with the Associated Press. Then asked for my wife and I asked what it was about. He promptly hung up

3+ calls every day for more than a week including several before 8 AM on the weekend and after 9 PM during the week. Identified as TELEMARKETER.

They even call after 09:00pm which is a violation even if they are political in nature.  Everyone should file a complaint with the FCC.  If enough people file a complaint they will eventually do something about it.

This number keep calling my cell and bother a lot of people in my family (4 kids under ten).  .  I told them stop calling me but they still call day & night. Can someone help me to stop this please??
