This is lidgit company & they are exempt from the National Do Not Call Agency as the are exempt because they are a Government State run agency.

Called left no message. I called he number back & it was The Florida State Troopers Association.  They're diing their doinf their annual drive to collect money for officers killed in the line of duty. Extremely pleasant
representative & did his best to get me to authorize him to mail a donation packet.

I've donated in previous years & it's not a scam...the only information the ask on the phone your mailing address so you mail in your pledge.

I would love to know how to go about reporting these nuisance callers to the FTC.  Is there a phone or a website to access?  These never-ending, incessant calls make your blood boil and your blood pressure spike!  They should be outlawed.

I asked the following question when they called me: "Let me get this straight, you want me to give money to troopers that get paid to pull me over for the least little thing and write me a ticket that costs me money? Are you stupid?". They hung up.

The Police Benevolent Association.  They called me back in the day when I used to answer the phone... Asked me if I would like to donate again to them.. I had never donated.. He ask me if I'd like to match my last years donation.  I said sure... I didn't donate last year and I can definitely match that.  Then I ask him to call me by name and he hung up.. Whoops... guess the question was too hard.

Recieved several call, no voice mail.

Called my business line today, no message.  Smelled like a telemarketer.  I'm setting my ring to silent for that number.

Dial America most likely i have seen them advertise for jobs and the current campaign has something to do with a police fund not tax deductible  when i worked there this was 8 years ago and the company may have changed , That said they sod magazine subscription under the guise that by buying these subscription a portion like say 1/2 of 1 percent give or take was not much would actually go to that fund. I was called today I did a *57 puts in a trace on the call . Never had a call from them before did today,i am in two do not call lists  may be a loop hole as they are asking for charities technically they are but it is a sales organization, i' am used to collections and customer service at reputable companies i worked 4 hours the stress was unbelievable it was scripted. almost no training that i recall Can you read ,,,read this they should identify them selves as such they did then , i dont know now as i did not answer and the number is most likely a spoof. The turn over is massive our unemployment rate is over 12 % in Florida you would think folks would flock there,  They dont i go on monster and they are there daily .  Buyer Beware they are legit and should be saying all the above and the city and state of the home company they have 30 seconds  in beginning of the call to identify themselves, i suggest *57 look up this fund find out who in fact manages it and complain, Also what ever the company is make sure you on both the do not call list federal and stae of Florida report it spoof or no spoof if they are advertising FL PBA call Florida PBA tell them to remove you off the list and do it in mass. by the way i got paid for my four hours but not the two sales i made.  no reason given 8.00

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

We received this phone call on 12/23/12 but did not pick up.  The information in the Caller ID was only the phone number and the word, Unassigned.  On the caller complaints website, this phone number,
407-308-0073 is listed as a SPOOFED number.  On the callERcenter website there are many posts regarding this number since 12/18/12.  One poster said that a man on the line stated that he was a trooper with the FL PBA and that he was soliciting for donations for widows and children.  The poster said that another man got on the line and asked for a greater donation amount because of the poor economy and need.  When the poster asked, the man stated that the donation was NOT tax deductible.  Sounds odd.

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM 407 308 0073 AND THEY ARE REQUESTING MONEY FOR FLORIDA POLICE AND OFFICER UNION AND THE PERSON I TALKED TO WAS RATHER RUDE WHEN I TOLD HIM I DONATE LOCALLY.WHEN YOU TRY TO TALK TO HIM HE WON'T LET YOU GET A WORD IN AS HE IS EXTREMELY RUDE,SO I TOLD HIM HE WAS RUDE AND I POLITELY TOLD HIM TO HAVE A NICE DAY AND I HUNG UP.

I think its time to rewrite the Do Not Call law and make sure that only legit charities that give 100 percent of the money to the needy calls people. The 99 percent money eaters can go screw themselves like the rest of them crooks.

Charities are allowed to call under the Do Not Call List law.  Even those charities that keep 99% of the money to cover operating expenses and give almost nothing to the charity.

Called today soliciting money for the Florida Police & Officer Union.  When i said I only donate locally, the guy didn't even pause in his talking, so I finally said "Since you won't let me speak, I'm hanging up on your a** now!".  Another note, I'm on the Federal DNC list - I'm reporting them to the FTC now.  This is NOT a legit company.

Someone from phone number 407-308-0073 called twice and when we pick up after 3 rings no one answered. Second time it rang and still it would not connect. Phone caller was reported from Orlando area.

This number called this morning at 10:44 a.m. number said Unassigned.  When I answer they hung up, I called back the number and they said is the Sherriff and Police Association asking for donations for the family of police officers killed in the line of duty.  Asking for contribution of $20.00 or $25.00.

A PBA rep, not a policeman but uses the fallen officer's family tragedies to try to get donations.  To me its a variation of Slumdog Millionaire they way they use tragedy to get cash.  I am on the do not call registry but I suppose they feel they have the right to ignore that law too, right along with blowing through red lights and using their lights to get through a busy intersection.

Called at 3:27 PM today.  Left no message.  Name showing was Unassigned.

Also received this call but no one on the other end.  Just silence.
I used call retrieval to find out what number and this came up.

I used to work for an organization that worked for the PBA...they actually arent police...they are a call center that uses a portion of their money to go to the PBA...not sure how much...but I just got a call and I have already donated...they need to stop...

I got it too about 1 hour ago.  Who are the PBA troopers?  Some police association?  If so, why aren't they out fighting crime instead of making irritating phone calls to people in their homes???

Recieved a call from 407-308-0073 from a man claiming he was from the PBA troopers, asking for money??
