This so called company called my cell phone and kept insisting that they wanted to do an energy audit, was very pushy and would had a hard taking no for an answer.  They set up a tenative time for this Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 6:00 pm of which they said they would call first and of which I had no intention of keeping at all.  I recorded their phone number on on my cell (407) 341-5494 and I just tried to call them back and the message says the number that I am trying to call is not reachable.  It smells like a scam to me.  Also, they said it would absolutely free, but why would they ask about your credit rating??  I think they are targeting the Clermont, Florida area.  They also said that you would qualify for a government rebate of $3,500.00.  I am trying to

They keep calling my cell phone, state it is not a sales call; looking to see if I qualify for $3600 in energy credits.  No reasoning with them, have hung up on them multiple times.

They kept calling and I kept getting more and more firm with them.  The last time they called I spent an hour on the phone just trying to waste their time... asking about all the options and debating energy  policies by Obama and it was fun... They called again the next day... so...  finally...
I added them to my blacklist with my phone co... now they are sent to a "disconnected message"  Ahh... peace at last...   They haven't called me in over a week now...(that I know of)...Somebody needs to arrest these folks...

get a call daily from this number.  they leave no message and when I try to call back, i get a message saying they are not reachable.

Number just keeps calling and leaves no message.  When I return the call the recording says the number you are trying to call is not reachable.

If you have caller id you just need to buy a Panasonic phone with a caller block feature. If you have entered in the phone's memory a number that you want to block, as soon as the caller id recognizes the number as one in your block list the phone will ring once and then hang up. It's very useful in an election year with all those robocalls. My phone has a 30 numbers memory. Maybe there's one with more memory.

I've had 4 or 5 calls from this number. The noise with the hang up on 3 calls, then a woman on 2 of the calls. Firmly told her that I was not interested and she was very belligerent and pushy.  Gave me the same story about not selling anything. Told her that I didn't care and boot to call again. She called again the next day. I told her that my number was in the National Do Not Call Register and she very nastily said that they were perfectly legal and could call as much as they want, they were not affected by Do Not Call. I told that I didn't care and again to stop calling me. Hung up on her. Really concerned about these scam artists calling people who could be taken in by their tactics.

Tell them you are a renter and they will not proceed. This is a complete scan to refer you to people to sell you energy efficient items like insultation, windown, etc... I asked them for their name and state they are located and they couldn't give that to me because they "are in too many states" to count. When asked who they are contracted by they said "there are too many to count, we couldn't posibly name one". When asked what their website was I was told they didn't have one and that I could not find them on the internet and since they were not selling anything I could not find them with the BBB. The scary thing is that they already knew all of our personal information.

If you want to buy energy efficient items then you can always go to a reputable company that you can do a background check on and do the research prior to letting anyone into your home. Good luck!

Something about energy.  I tried to tell them my house is energy-efficient since I had things done last year.  He didn't give me a chance to say anything.  When I was talking, he just tried to talk over me.  I finally hung up on him.

This guy just wouldn't take "not interested" as an answer.  Wanted to qualify me for "free government money".  Finally ended up just hanging up the phone on his "courtesy call".

Called me today. Sounded a lot like those annoying "energy survey" calls I was getting months ago. I know some people got in trouble with the law a while back and the calls did stop . . . until today. Not sure if the same folks are involved.

This is an energy audit scam. Similar scam operators called a year ago under a different name and turned out to be run nearby by a resident in Oviedo Florida, who was arrested. They would call over and over despite being told never to call again, do not call list etc. Not sure if same folks but pattern is same, use cell phones, $3600 federal grant BS etc. it is a boiler room operation that can be heard in background.

Same as the other post.  This caller was rude and very arrogant.

So much for being on the "do not call" list.  These people keep calling 3-4 times a week and never say anything.  I wish we could get selective call blocking from Century Link, but it's not available in my area.

They've called me four times in the last week. Each time I ask them not to call again.

Poor telemarketers, they don't even seem to know that they are working for a scam artist.

Free energy audit claims "not a sales call" although they will be happy to refer you to some contractors who will sell you double-paned glass, better HVAC system, insulation, Twin Draft Guard [tm], or freakin' Snuggies [tm]. Whatever.

Have call me twice and when i called  they say that number is not reachable.

Called and said this wasn't a telemarketing call, would I like to save money on energy.  When I asked them to place my number on the Do Not Call list, she answered that they have no obligation to do this as they are not selling anything.....then why are they calling?????

Has to do with energy saving.  They keep calling even when I told them never to call again or I will report them.
