I agree.. no name,no answering.They can identify themselves.Sometimes it turns out it is a cause I would support.I just am not into answering an anonymous tel number .

I have received 6 call from this number over the past two months.  Without a name on Caller ID, I will not answer.

I get calls from this number all the time and I do not believe for one minute it is really Alan Grayson's campaign.  The number and ID are spoofed and it is just another SCAM.
Never give anything to someone that calls.  If everyone stops doing it, we will be rid of this disgusting abuse of our homes.

Alan Vrayson is the real deal.  He's fighting for working class an middle class America in all the right ways.  I wish I had more to give Congressman Grayson's campaign because he deserves it.  Bravo!

This is a SCAM.  I support Alan Grayson and have donated on line to his campaign a couple of times recently.  I was actually thinking of sending another donation when I got this call, so I guess my guard was down.  They sound like idealistic young people, not used to talking on the phone, and I have a lot of sympathy for campaign volunteers, so when the girl identified herself as calling from the Grayson office, I thought, this is someone I'm willing to talk to.  All these campaigns immediately hit you up for more donations, once you're a donor, so I didn't think it was that unusual.  She said if I wanted to donate again on line, that was fine, "anything you can do helps," but if they take the card information over ther phone, more of the donation goes to the campaign, versus some of it going to the on line processing service (I think it's ActBlue).  I only planned to send $25, but that was OK - they ask if you'd like to make a "recurring donation" of say $25 a week, which is always an option when you donate on line, but I said no.  I imagine if someone said yes to that, a little money would be charged every week, and you might not realize for a while that it was fraud.  Anyway, by the end of the call, something felt a little wrong, and my idealism turned to warning bells, telling me "you should never give card information to someone who calls you."  I set my on line account alerts to email me if a charge appeared over $25, and two days later I got four emails, showing charges for $50, $50, $100 and $100.  I called my card company - they blocked the card and were able to stop all of the fraudulent charges.  So nothing lost, but a valuable lesson learned.  Alan Grayson is one of the most honest voices in national politics, calling out crooks and liars who have big money backing them.  And I know Karl Rove is dropping "money bombs" everywhere.  It's hard to believe there's anyone in the Grayson office dishonest enough to abuse his reputation for truth in this way, but I'm guessing someone there got a hold of some phone numbers.  This call is from the same Florida area code as the Grayson office.  I have donated to several progessive campaigns on line, like Sherrod Brown and Elizabeth Warren, and many of them use ActBlue, which is an on line fund raising tool for Democrats, and I have never had a problem with ActBlue.  If Alan Grayson is set up with ActBlue, then that's the way to donate to his campaign.

These phone solicitations are usually delegated out to fund raising companies that only give a small portion to the cause and keep a substantial amount for "operating costs". If you want to contribute to Alan Grayson, contribute DIRECTLY to his campaign at his website (I think it's alangrayson@graysonforcongress.com).  P.S. This applies to Greenpeace, PETA, or any other organization. Better to know your money is actually going to THEM.

I've been getting calls from this number every weeknight between 7:00 and 9:00 PM EDT for the last couple of weeks.  I wasn't answering them as I had no idea who they were.  Thanks to everyone here who identified this number.  I admire Alan Grayson and have donated to his campaign in the past.  I would much rather donate online and will most likely send him a little something toward the end of the summer.  Thanks also to whoever administers this site.  It's a great resource.  I never knew about it until this evening.

PS. We should all support Sherrod Brown- the GOP is trying to  drown him out with ritghtwing money.

I really like Alan Grayson but I don't have any money to send him. When I have answered this number I have told the young lady on the other end this but they are persistent. I hope he gets back into the Congress.

I get a call from these guys every day no message says Winter Garden, FL

I got a call from this number but they left no message.

They actually left a message (which was nice) and it was Alan Grayson for Congress.

6:20 pm pacific time Sept. 13, 2011.  No message.  what is it?

Calls every evening this week about 6 pm - no message.  I did sign an on-line petition in support of Alan Grayson - but never gave them my unlisted unpublished phone number.

I got one too.  No message.

Got a call, no message.  Might be related to 866-843-8104 Capitol Management, because they called me shortly afterward, looking for someone with a name I didn't recognize.  Sounded shady.
