This guy left a message on my cell and home number, again talking about there is a check fraud case against me. He said he was calling from a check fraud division from the state of California. He is using a different number now 407-233-0516, but its the same scam. Don't fall for it people.

This same guy and number called saying he was investigating check fraud.  Called my home number that I do not give out.  The message was for my husband and in regards to my brother, what?!  I tried to call back, always got voicemail.  He did return one call and then we I tried to call back again the number was disconnected.  I hope that is because he is under arrest or has been harassed back by all of us and is running away!!

Today.  Same as above, (check fraud)!  But this time he used the name; Gregory Blue

I got a message from a "David Goldman from a check fraud division assigned to the state of Washington" to schedule a service of profice with or without an attorney. He said if I didn't call back he would submit it to the state for further action. I was worried because I didn't know what this was in regards to and I thought it was odd that the number appeared in my caller id the same as telemarketers. Also, I was wondering why there would be a Florida area code if he were representing the state of Washington. I am pretty sure the state of Washington has it's own check fraud department and wouldn't need to employ the help of Florida's check fraud department. So I decided to look this guy up online and this is what I found.

This guy David Goldman called me this morning and said i am going to be charged with 2 felonies of ck fraud if i don't pay a total of $758.50 in two hours. He also stated that he will have  APD pick me up n have me prosecuted. I didn't even know what he was talkin about a loan? i can't even make a loan  my credit is already f#%*! up...anyways, i almost fell for his story but when i called him back to find out how to make payment, he tells me i have to go to walmart and pay with money gram and the company to pay is America's Processing? Who the f#%*! is that? That's when i got suspicious and googled #407-374-1602 and found everyone's similar stories......omg! i almost lost out a lot of money that i didn't even have!! BIG TIME! SCAM!

Called and said was from the State investing a Check Fraud Case for a Salina Martinez and said it was reported that I was a family member of this person.  I said that I have no clue who this Salina person, he said thank you and that he will not bother me again.  I live in California and this phone number is from Florida.  I looked up the phone number and noticed other people listing situations with this caller.  So I am reporting this number as fraudulant caller.

It seems that everyones story is the same.my friend received a call from this guy looking for me.He was telling her all the info he's told all this bs about how i had her as a reference and a check from 2007.i for one didnt have a checking account and why would i need a reference on a  check?! Then to be calling me from Florida when I've lived in Texas.Im positive that the county i live in handles any type of check issues. And if he was from the state or any type of real business man he would not be telling anyone about this issue if it was for me. There is a privacy Act dumbass so that's how i know they're full of crap..its a scam! & Im married and have been so i think lookin for me under my maiden name Makes it even more unbelievable

He called me and said that i have a case of fraud against me and that it looks like im the one who did this-Man i havent live in that city in over 5yrs and you gonna tell me what I did-then when i ask for information u hang up-smh nothing better to do

This David Goldman is calling me saying he is "from the State" I asked what state is that & he got mad. I called him back and said he is from the state of Florida. When the State of Texas wants me for Fraud they will not use the State of Florida they will use the old fashion Texas law to do it.

I just got a call today from this guy just today and he left a message on my answering machine.  Had to come online and see if anyone else heard of this guy.  It sounded like a scam just from the message.  Guess I won't be calling him back.

Had the same thing hapoen to me today. I dont know what to do. Said i got a loan in 2007 and now owe 1000  or ill go to jail for 24 hours. I dont even remember from that far. Im in nc. What did you do? He said i had to pay them via western union only. Cant even pay via check card over the phone. Said i have 24 hrs to pay

This person called my house number that I never give out. He left a message talking about some check fraud. I have not owned a check to a checking account well over 6-7years. I live in LAS VEGAS , NV so why would someone be calling me from florida??  I've never been there,  I think its strange that this number is reporting has a LANDLINE.This does not make any sense. My own BANK doesnt even call me , they have called me once since, I opened up my account in 2007.
