I just got a text from 53331@vtext and it gave me this number to call 401-244-7184 and I called it and it said my debit card has been frozen so I needed to punch in my debit card number so I hung up.

Rec'd text message last night (10/31/13) from the first part of my cell number xxxxxx@vtext.com and it read "(Members1ST-CU) PleaseContactOurSecurityDept@9098751902.FraudulentTransactionsAlert."

After my first post. I received additional calls from this number. I waited until the message was finished, then called the number back repeatedly. Finally after about 10 tries, the phone rang and the Robot started talking, but I also heard a man's voice say, "Hello"...then silence. After the prompt, I took the opportunity to lay it on hard to this caller, who was obviously on the phone prior to my call. I told him that he was located on E Main Street in Geneva Florida and that people were coming for him. Along with an assortment of cuss words.  Guess what....no more calls.

This person is stupid, because he did not cover his tracks. Also, when you randomly call someone, you don't really know who you are calling. Or if they are watching you!!!! SEE U MAPP!!!!!!

My wife and I are constantly getting texts from 210792asd@vtext.com claiming to be Generations FCU, and wanting us to call the number below.

They are at it again.  I called just for the heck of it knowing it was a scam.  Was hoping to have some fun by giving them a bunch of BS information  :)

The phone number is already disconnected and I don't have an account with the bank either.

If more people called back and gave them BS information, maybe in time they would stop because they would be getting all excited to think they are stealing info, then found out it is all bad  :)

I was going to give them the address for the CIA s my address  :)

I knew it was a scam, but I called for the fun of it and the number is disconnected.

I just got the same message also, but it was Berjshire Bank, knew it had to be a fraud, this is not our bank!

One of my contacts tried to text me, and when they did they received a text saying to call that number because the person you are trying to text has committed credit card fraud. My contact called me to see what was going on, so I looked up the phone number and came across a ton of  people experiencing the same thing. Something needs to be done about these people!

Now changed to Berkshire Bank with originating number of 518- First three digits of my phone number then @vtext.com.   Don't have an account at Berkshire Bank....nice try.

The street address of the scammer is E Main St. , Geneva Florida. Between Jennica Rd and Lake Geneva Road.

407-392-0234 Calls are coming from a Vo IP Phone - Landline located on E  Main Street In Geneva Florida.  Last week same type of vtext generated from N. Hickory St., in North Fon du Lac Wisconsin, also using a Vo IP phone. They are most definitely connected!  These individuals have the ability and access to credit card service processing, which means they are associated somehow with a retail establishment in the areas mentioned above.Businesses in those areas should be diligent in checking credit card records for overages.  Don't Respond, you will get  a robotic voice asking for bank card, and credit card information. DO NOT RESPOND!
If you give any information to them. they will drain your account and charge on your credit card. They are probably computer nerds. Not too bright though, because the internet is a wealth of knowledge and information. I'm still researching and am very close to finding out some names.

I've been getting a text from this number for weeks, maybe even a couple of months now. It's very annoying. They always change it up to say something different. The most recent one that I got about 20 mins ago said that my visa with the numbers 4108-39xx-xxxx-xxxx has been blocked due to fraud. Call: 4073920234. It's been almost 10 years since I have had a bank account with BofA. I'm not dumb enough to call or anything, but the constant texting is very, very annoying! I get it at all hours of the day and night!

I am in Texas and I received a tex from 0382@vtext.com to call 512-928-1655 in regards to Identity Check.  Called and it ask for Credit Card information.  Do not reply to this number and for sure don't give any credit card or of your information.

I am getting calls from a 303 area code and always getting text messages from text.com. Please take me off the list

Got this text 512743@vtext.com with # 407-476-9858 saying to call my immediate attention was required. They are asking for debit info so I immediately hung up and reported all to state fraud department. Was reading on line this somehow related to Verizon but still a scam. Notifying Verizon next..

I just received a text message:  call@vext.co.  Good day.  Please Call 16095226172.  Your attention is requested.  I just got a new phone, thought it may be something about that; but, glad I googled it - thanks for the info - I will DELETE!

Received the attention required message.  Thought it was a scam and glad to know it is.

received text from 215990 vtext.com to call 407-392-0234 "attention required" - VM said my debit card may have been used fraudulently. Requested my 16 digit card #. I hung up. this is a Verizon service (vtext) - why doesn't Verizon block this user? Can't the pho# be traced?  Wonder how many innocent, unsuspecting people, including the elderly, are being victimized.

I got a text  215990@vtext.com saying call this number this morning and called and hung up after they said my debit card may have had fraudulent acitivity and please enter the 16 digit card number.

Today I got a text message on my Verizon phone suggesting that my credit card showed some potential unauthorized use. For fun I called the number back and then they wanted to get all my info including my cc number. At that point, I knew it was b***s***. Why doesn't the FBI or the FCC shut these a***oles down?

I dont know how to report this and shut this whole thing down, but I'd love to do so.
