I get calls from these guys every single day! Yeah I owe them money. Haven't paid my car in a few months but I had to go buy my girl the ipad air for xmas and my baby mom's was killing me with all these things my boy wanted.. Don't understand why they don't stop calling! I mean I bought the car in June right its not the car I wanted but cps was the only place that would finance me because of my credit...why they don't understand that I gotta pay other things man?

Do you think 4075516400 is  using an ?automatic telephone dialing system? or using ?an artificial or prerecorded voice?   4075516400 repeatedly calls my emergency medical only cell phone for months. I can not afford to answer their calls. I did not given permission to this company to call or text me. My cell number is officially listed with do not call list but they still call. someone is calling my number and ASKING for someone else and stated that they used my phone number as a reference. I do not know where the people are and do not care, just stop calling . I have MrNumber installed on my cell and it does hang up on them... thank goodness.
They also stated would not call my number anymore and they do.

I've had repeated calls from this number. Each time I explain that I don't know the person they're calling about and ask them to stop calling my number. Just got another call today.

Received call stating he was with CPS inquiring about my acquaintances Victoria ? and another name (both spanish last names). My last name is also spanish but not even close to those two. I asked why he thought they were acquaintances, but then he simply said, "You don't know them?" I said no. He thanked me and hung up. This was on my cell phone so they best not call again!

Left two messages so far on my work number saying they were trying to do an employee reference for Debra Bartlety (never heard of her) and to call 18009554206.

I have repaetedly told them my brother is dead and the lawers have it and call the attorney in charge of his estate, The this anthony has called an rde to my wife. I have had it, i will not try to help them any more. This rude black male even cussed my wife, I will file charges and oh by the way it has been recorded. I'm sure that punk will not come to Alabama and meet me. But if I knew where he lived I promise I would see him. Expect a law suit small minded person, with obviously a small vocabulary.

If it has been over ten years the debt is beyond the statute of limitations.

This was not the original finance company. I paid and paid until I could no longer, was homeless for a while and I was still paying them. This harassment need to stop, I've paid for the van twice. 407/551-6400. It's been repossessed over ten years and they are still calling me. Please give us bearly above minmimum wage workers a break. I was financed through fireside bank and now that I only had 5 payments left and I think fireside went out of business, they forwarded my account to CPS and it is miserable having them as a finance company. They are also very rude yelling at me telling me they are going to come that night cause I didn't make my payment (my payment was due on the 16th and they told me and they called me the 17th) and repossess my car that night and I should sleep with one eye open.

The company is Consumer Portfolio Services, they purchased all of Fireside Banks auto loans last September. My payment is due on the 5th of each month, that is when the calls start. I havent really had them be rude with me, but they seem very clueless. Asking me questions that are none of thier business. I have been trying to give the vehicle back to them for almost 2 months now. They call me about once a week to see if I can make the payment yet. My husband lost his job, so we fell behind. They asked if I work, what I drive (since I'm letting my car go back), the condition of the vehicle, the color and who the insurance company is. I answered all of thier questions (except for the one about what OTHER vehicle I am driving). A little bit nosey...Like I said, I have been trying to get them to come and get the car for 2 months. It is still sitting in my yard waiting on them...they normally call me and leave a message and then I call them back. Today I missed thier call and they did not leave a voice message. When I called them back I was placed on hold "for the next available representative". When I was able to speak with a representative he asked to confirm my phone number so that he could give it to the "agent" that would be picking up the car. Hopefully he/she calls me soon and gets this yard ornament out of here so that I can get on with my life.

This company stated they were with CPS and it was urgent.  I thought it was Child Protective Services so I called back.  They were asking about my neighbor's car, where it's parked, the color, make, model, etc.  They obviously got my number from a phone book because my neighbor doesn't know me enough to use me as a reference and provide my number.  She doesn't even have my number.  I told them that I didn't know anything about it.

This company, same person every time, keeps calling me asking for a different person.  They seem as if they are a collection agency? Or maybe as the above message says, a repo type. They call several times a day.  I have answered from time to time, keep telling them that this is my number, not the other.  Today, the person argued with me.  I need to find out how to lodge a complaint against them and get them to quit calling.  It's outrageous.

I have never had a loan with this company.  I have no idea why they are calling me.  I called as soon as I received the message however they were closed.  I had a loan in 2000 through wfs that I had to do a voluntary repo on.  Does anyone know if they by old loans.  I am currently late on my fireside payment but they always call directly

i had a car financed with them in 2000 i had it 30 days and returned it to the dealer my wife became verry ill and i could not pay for the car they still to this day call me about 4 times a month to try to get me to pay for a car i havent had since 2000

After several attempts of trying to have my cell phone number removed because of a ex-employee using it this company was nasty, ugly and just rude to me.  I don't have a bill with this company but continue to be harassed by them.  They refused to give me their fax number for me to send a letter requesting the number removed.

This is a company called CPS or Consumer Portfolio Services. They offer loans to people with really terrible credit. If you are late on a payment they can be really shady in their efforts to get in touch with you.

They called me and left a message claiming someone I don't even know put me down as a reference and that I need to tell whoever she said that they needed to call this number back.

I got a call from someone..I didnt answer, so they left a phone number. I called back with the "reference" number that they gave. I asked why they were calling, they asked if I had an account with them I said I didn't even know who they were and never heard of them. She said someone might have used me as a reference. I told her that no one had left a name, what they wanted, who they were with...nothing. She asked if she could get the number I was calling from..I said "no"...she said is there anything else I can help you with? I said "what did you need"...she just said "bye"...so I called her crook and she hung up

Call came at 6:51 pm.


Man: Can I speak to David?
Me: David who?
Man: (last name)
Me. Nope you have the wrong number.
Man: Thats what I thought you would say.

With that I hung up. I gave had this number for three years and I get atleast 2 calls a week for the wrong person. Usually its for the same woman. I hate calls like these.

My first call came in from 801-924-2288 (Caller ID showed Gillette Law) and they left a 877 number to return their call, (the number left I could not understand as they mumbled through it) they identified themself as CPS stating that smeone had used me as a reference and asked for a return call.  They called again approximately 1 hour later using the 407-551-5400 number.
