Consumer United - they have a zillion phone numbers both 800 and local area codes. If you call the number back, there is an option (9 I think) to remove your number from their database.

Apparently, when I did an online rate comparison this afternoon for auto insurance they immediately started calling. 13 times according to the call log on my phone...13 since 2:30 this afternoon (it's now 7:30). Ridiculous.

They have called me 22 times yesterday with no message and another 9 times so far today with no message. I called back the number to see and it was automated for Consumer United.  I tried all the different options and when i would selct them i was disconnected.  What the hell!!!!!!!  They wont stop calling.  It ranges from 8am to 10:30 PM.

I received many phone calls from this number, and every time I call back I reached a voice message asking me to wait for an operator. I did not really catch the name of the company but it says something like Consuming for your Insurance Needs
I never have to chance to speak with anyone but I am pretty sure that It's scams call.

This is some automated message about some insurance rate crap. It says that they will connect you to the next operator. which never happens since the phone disconnects. The called 19 plus times already. Stop calling.

This number called me. Said his name was Sam and that I entered a contest using hotmail for a Disney package. He refused to tell me what company he worked for. I called the number back using an alternate phone and he again refused to tell me what company he worked for, said he was the supervisor. Def a scam,  I told him i was reporting his number to the police and he hung up on me

I got a call from this number asking for a name that I use as a nic name, not my real name, when I asked who it was, he only said "I have a package to deliver" WTF I too live in Canada

called from Florida, I' m from Canada how do you even have my number?!?!
