This number constantly calls, what do they want?

We are on the Do Not Call List which I renewed again yesterday. This is the second day in the row they called and woke me, yesterday at 7:20 and today at 6:53AM. Yesterday they asked for my husband and rudely hung up when I said he wasn't there, despite my asking what it was about. Today we both answered after 2 rings and no one said a thing on the other end. They are too stupid to check area codes and time zone and the whole thing is VERY ANNOYING!

they keep calling, occasionally I answer but no one speak or hangs up - just nothing.  They call several times a week from different numbers that mostly say Orlando, Florida

I've gotten two calls from this number. I traced it back to Orlando, FL. On caller ID it says 'unknown number'. I did pick up because I do have friend in FL and was familiar with the area code, but when I answered no one was there. They called again today and I let it go to the answering machine and of course they did not leave a message. Had another friend who called the number from his business phone and he got the 'mailbox full' thing so he couldn't leave a message. I can't figure out the company or person, but did fear that this could be related to a stalker I had years ago. He was from Florida. I think I am going to report this to the Federal Trade Commission and try to get it stopped. This is just harassment in my opinion...why call someone and not say a darn thing? Really weird.

Called today and I spoke with them.SOME NONSENSE ABOUT A CREDITCARD CHECKUP(Visa and M/C) Told them I own niether and then I let loose on them swearing like a sailor. Guy started swearing at me and I hung up. Maybe they will leave me alone now or maybe harrass me more seeing I swore at them. Just hang up.

Called me today and I answered.  Someone asked for Justin then they hung up.

today is Aug 12, 2010!!!  I'm tired of u guys calling for days now and no message left, no name displayed.  Can't be important to me or u would let me know who is calling.  Probably know u are an unwanted phone caller.  RIGHT  get the hint OK

Refused to identify company, refused to take name off of calling list.

Keeps calling me at least three times a day, usually around 10 am 5pm and 10 pm but never leave a message, I have never had anyone speak when I answered.

407 number called, I answered they hung up.  Was going to call back, but decided to look on Google instead.  We've had numbers like this call before and they mumbled the company name.  I asked why they called, they said that my husband had called them.  Asked my husband, he knew nothing about it.  They even called his cell phone.  Now that's wrong.  I can't even find out who calls from a cell phone.
The ID on this caller was "Out of Area."  I don't answer those calls unless they leave a msg.

Another call from 407 574 2353 this morning.  I decided to answer and a real person (I think) asked to speak to someone I'd never heard of (although I couldn't really understand what she said).  I told her she had the wrong number and that they had called my number every day for the past 10 days and to please take my number out of their system.  After a short pause, I was listening to a dial tone.  We'll see if it works.  I won't answer again.

This number calls, lets it ring once and hangs up?  Why waste the energy to call?  Jerk Waters.  Must be tally whackers calling?

I forgot to add that they never let the phone ring enough rings for the voice mail to kick in.

This morning was the second call I've had this week from that number.  I don't answer calls that say "Unknown Name" unless I recognize the number and so I don't know what they're calling about.  I am, however, on several DNC lists.

Called to say that I had a credit for travel in the amount of 500 dollars that I had recently purchased. Said that I don't want to travel to florida right now, please just put back on my credit card. Lady then said that the amount was not 500 dollars, and you are just being a smart a**. She then proceeded to yell at me and then hung up.
Hope they don't call back. Next time, need to ask for their TI and TC number, since they are from florida.

Don't bother answering their calls.  If you can't understand the salesperson that gets on the line, the manager is very rude as well.  No Thank You.  Who needs this kind of call?

Any way of blocking these calls?

Caller called and asked for my daughter and when I asked who is this he responded with Jim Jacobs.  Also did the *69 to get his number because it showed on my caller Id as Unknown name.  Got his number and called and recorded message said mailbox full.  When I asked zipper head what is this referring to he responded with I guess your not her and hung up.

Tried to convince me I had an unused vacation credit for $500.  It was a load of crap.  How does one report violations to the "Do Not Call" list?

This caller call so many time per day, even at night time keep calling, so annoying...

THIS NUMBER CALLS MY PHONE 3/4 TIMES DAILY. I ANSWERED IT  ONCE & NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. IT WAS LIKE THEY WERE HOLDING THE PHONE. NOW I DON'T ANSWER THAT NUMBER @ ALL.

Just received this call and googled it.  Not surprised to find it is a scam.  I recently posted an ad on craigslist and ever since I've received spam email too.

Also remember that illegitimate companies and scam artists won't respect these lists.

Therefore once your enrollment goes into effect you should be extra careful of unsolicited telemarketing calls unless you know they come from a company with which you have a legitimate, established relationship

Scammers are using ILLEGAL robot dialers that dial all numbers in sequence.  their intent is to STEAL something, not sell something.  So breaking do not call laws is MINOR to the crimes they intend to commit.
