It does not work for Canadian numbers or calls either....The list is not a do not call list..It is a directory that telemarketers can refer to when they want real working numbers, instead of computer generated numbers.  Wake up people....

This number (probably spoofed) called my do-not-call Canadian land-line at 13:20 today.
Automated message stating that I had won a "Walt Disney World" vacation.
Probably a scammer requiring that I pay for my own transportation from Seattle to Orlando,
and then attend a high-pressure "time-share" presentation, before receiving the ticket(s) to W.D.W.

Or, maybe some scammer with an "auto-dialer" calling "random" numbers, trying to get my credit-card information, in order to start an identity-theft operation.

I am on the Do No Call List.....still gets lots of telemarkers calling.  I even report the number, but nothing changes.  However, I am sure the Government is paying the people in the DNCL Dept, above average salaries and benefits.....to do nothing as usual.

I don't appreciate being woken up by the phone at 8:28 a.m.  I didn't pick up, but no message was left, just a dial tone when I checked my answering machine.   I suspect they have been calling me at other times on other days recently, but there is no one there when I do pick up.   Did a search for this 407-621-2545 phone number and found this number belongs to Embarq Florida Inc., which apparently offers trips if you Press 1 or 2 or whatever; other people report other offers.    I am on all national and international Do Not Call lists I could find to register on, but this doesn't seem to help much.

they say it is from walt disney, and give you a number. you can press 2 to be taken off their list. the call seems to originate from florida usa.

Just got a call from this number, no message left.  Only people I know in Florida would not be calling me, so assume it's a scam or telemarketer.

Not true... Because this list do not apply oustside of your country... And the television news reveal that they use this list to have more trlephone number to call. In reality, calls are not made from US or Canada... They only display US number which in fact is not real.

These f**** havve been calling me for years now and it seems they're never gonna quit...
Told them i wasn't interested but they keep calling me back !? Sometimes 4 to 5 times a week...

Actually, what everyone should do is what I do.  When given the choice, I go through with the selection and get them on the line, then tie them up for as long as possible, looking for my credit card or whatever.  I keep calling out as if I'm speaking to someone in the background and panicking because I can't find my Visa.  Eventually, they hang up but  If everyone did that, they would never get through the call lists and would soon be out of business.

Scammers don't care about breaking the law, because they are already breaking the law. They're crooks.

Phoned the authorities...turned out it was a nasty pro-bama follower trying to get info to make & abuse a bogus credit card to be made in your name ! They should be tacked up side down & whipped daily!

DNCL or not, all of these places use an automated dialer that just spews out sequences of phone numbers for their lackeys to talk to you. That's why when you have a number removed, it doesn't actually get removed......

these clowns keep calling and I keep reporting it and teh clowns at Do Not Call Registry don't seem to do much about it., the calls keep rolling in.
