This number is on a LOT of Florida Craigslist ads for alleged employment opportunities, along with the name "Debbie Smith" at 407-468-0973 and/or "Kristie" at 407-666-5042. Might explain how they're getting your number if you have sent a reseume/contact info on a supposed job lately. Please BEWARE, people, if this is the case. PROTECT YOURSELVES! Please do NOT give out personal info to unknown people, even those who claim to have a job for you. If you're unsure, create a "dummy" email account that does NOT include your name - even that info alone is worth good money to telemarketers/spammers, who then sell it to MORE telemarketers/spammers, who then... well, you get the idea - and first send an "inquiry" email to see if and what kind of response you receive in reply. You can ask basically anything: where the "job" is, when it starts, how are you paid, do you need any special equipment, your own transportation, etc. A lot of these email addresses are automated, and most often ANY response you receive will NOT answer whatever question you had and will instead ask YOU for even MORE personal info: address, phone number, BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION, etc, often under the ruse of "recently relocating to America" from another country and having your "payments" mailed/direct deposited by their "agent" on their behalf.

This number is a scam. Please report it, and any others, to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), your state's Attorney General's Office, your local State Attorney's office, etc.Keep records of when they called (including time of day), any message they left, the "name" of anyone to whom you spoke, etc. IF WE DO NOT WORK TOGETHER, THESE PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP!!

I called back from the land line and the voice box was full.  Just the typical recording answered.

Got a text from 407-666-1597 saying "Please call 321-710-0137 ext 2011 ASAP!". Yeah, probably not! I'm located in Cali.

I received a text from this number, which went like this; "Question: If it were possible to TOTALLY ELIMINATE your Grocery bill, wouldn't you want to know about it? Reply 'Yes' for more information or 'Stop' to remove." I don't know who they are but it's obviously another scam. My best advice - delete the text and forget about it. ANY reply will bring further contact attempts, unless that is what you want.

Another suggestion:  don't contact ANYONE for stopping debt collector abuse unless you've checked them out yourself.  Some companies (such as harassing phone callers, telemarketers, etc.) have a joint interest in calling and harassing you, then offering a solution to your dilemma.  It may be likely that they have Debt Collector Cease-Call services available (create the problem and supply a solution).  If you don't want your number to be broadcasted out there, get on the DNC List and see who stops calling.  The FTC will take care of your personal information better than a telemarketing company.

FTC's (Federal Trade Commission) DNC (do not call) List:  1-888-382-1222.  It was FREE for me to get on the list, so I would think it would be the same for everyone else.  Feel free to confirm this phone number with your resources.

Neither 407-567-7819 or 407-666-1597 show any results from BBB, so odds are, it's a new company.  My recommendation is to get on the DNC list if you haven't already.  If the calls and texts stop, then you've solved your dilemma.  If the calls continue, then investigate further.  As for me, I'm waiting my 31 days until my DNC registration kicks in, and I'll send a complaint to the FTC if they contact me again.  I say let the big boys handle this one.

I just received the same call...When ever I mistakingly answer such calls, I immediately turn into a collection rep and begin asking them personal and financial questions (name, address, contact number, social security number, bank information; etc.)  You should try it...you'll feel much better about the call!

Got an approx. location for everyone: Jetport Drive & Boggy Creek Road, Orlando, FL -- the address maps as a 7-11, but there are many warehouses/industrial buildings around. Definitely Mobile Phone Telemarketing.  But folks, lets get over the 666 in the number. If if where 777 would you feel different and be motivated to buy from these morons?  While it certainly is a EVIL telemarketing company, I am pretty sure it's not SATAN trying to sell you a new roof!!

Yea. I got the same text message from 407-666 but, I got a deland number. The deland number is (321) and I live 45 mins. Away from orlando. I'm sorry but, seeing a 666 on a phone number like that is very scary. I guess some people have no life.

Just got the txt today.  From 407-666-1597 and told to call 407-567-7819.  I thought it might be someone from work until I googled the number and found this site.  If they don't want to identify themselves.. Then they don't get a call back.

Also rec. text this a.m. (9/14) and read your posts.  I called and supposedly will be put on DNC list...stayed on line and clearly stated my name (or my variation) and says that if info not given, you will be deleted from data bank.  I wouldn't bet on it but it's a shot.  This is 2nd time in 6 months I have had this annoyance. Same here, how pointless of a text to waste my time this way. it seems this is happening to many people at random. Maybe it is because we don't pay to not have out number private from the yellow pages that we get this scam? I'm not sure, just a guess honestly.
