The problem is this is not a public information bulletin announcement and they are selling something. They are selling A) their website B) Their service of job placement.  Just because it is a non profit does not mean they don't make money.

I got this text telling me to visit some website to get a job. I don't know how a Florida number got ahold of my number, since i live in Texas. I don't want to get anymore of these.

receive "get job now"~ I have reported you and will proceed with further action if you DO NOT STOP TEXTING ME IMMEDIATELY

some people here need to study a little more what separates a telemarketing /spamming call or text, and what is actually a text info bulletin, as if nothing is being sold to you there is nothing to complain about and with a flick of a finger the thing can be erased, some here act as if their entire life structure came apart at the seams when this little text i got too appeared. come on people what is wrong with you dont tell me a job bulletin is wasted on our bitchy poor populace.

received a text from the above number referring me to a website regarding jobs in town.  Did not respond. Do NOT want to receive any more messages or phone calls from this number

I got the text and actually thought it was someone I knew because I am a stay at home mom. Could have caused a real problem if I didn't take the extra step to look up the number. I replied, lol, I would search the site if I were you because you couldn't makes much money texting people. At the same token, with so many people out of a job needing to take care of children, I can ignore/delete a text I don't need. It could serve as a life saving change for an unfortunate family. Let's be thankful we dont't need to be BOTHERED with job offers that fall in our hands.

just got a text message from here. Not given permission, I am now scanning my memory to figure out where my number was leaked to them.

Got them calling me too.  The message was "found this site with jobs in town www.getjobnow.org.  I wrote back and told them I was reporting them, as I'm on a do not call list.

I was happily surfing the web when this number texted me the following text out of nowhere.

"site with jobs in your town - www.getjobnow.org - Wishing You Happy Holidays"

I dont care who it is but I never subscribed nor gave permission for this spam. Very unprofetionall and rude. Also has no way to stop or unsubscribe. Have no idea how they got my number

because they are not warranted text. you can't just have every non-profit mass texting people. that would be harassment. there are other ways to advertise your website besides spamming people

got it too, actually it got me a job interview, oh just to add, its a nonprofit and i called the directly, they are not selling anything, so i dont know what the beef is.

just received text 7/19 from 4077806757 stating: need a job in your town, get one here - www.getjobnow.org called the no. back and told mailbox is full. this seems to be a hoax, so beware. I texted back STOP msging and reporting to DNC in Florida.
