I got a phone call from them today (Florida Network Destination). Fortunately, I did not get caught but they tried hard.

Nyss fått ett samtal från fiskarna.
De blev väldigt förbannade på mig när jag ifrågasatte att lämna ut mitt VISA nummer.
Jag undrade varför dom inte skickar ut brev med vinsten istället för att ringa.
Sa att jag kände att detta inte var seriöst. Och då svarade de att de tyckte att jag var för misstänksam, och tyckte att jag tog deras tid i anspråk.

Got screwed by them too. I'm trying to get a refund but they don't reply to email and their phone number has been disconnected.


What can be done against these guys?

I also received a call from this number in a similar situation but was unable to figure out if the offer was for real or not.  The company, Florida Destination Network, exists and has a web presence.  They have received one "Credit or billing" complaint since the Better business bureau opened their file in April 2008 but have not replied to calls made by the BBB.  They didn't ask for the number to reserve the prize but rather to pay for the tax portion of the prize I'd won.  I'm not familiar enough with this to know if it really responds to the pattern of fishing.

This number called for fishing, pretending that I won a draw from Visa and asking for my name and credit card number to reserv a price.
