WILL SPAM CALLS EVER STOP??????? Some people on 800 Notes say that DO NOT CALL does not apply to collections. However, since they don't have any reason to be calling me about MY credit (which maybe they would have a right to do if my credit was bad), DO THEY HAVE TO RIGHT TO HARASS ME CONTINUOUSLY AND RELENTLESSLY TO ATTEMP TO GAIN INFORMATION ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE? I don't think so!! See below what I'm experiencing.
My life is a living daily SPAM-CALL-HELL, and I can't get out and I've done nothing to deserve this. When will this harassment end? Yes I am on DO-NOT-CALL list. Yes, I do not have outstanding debits. Yes, I pay all my bills earlier than on time.

If I learn it's somebody I don't want to receive another call again, I then BLACKLIST them on my new "ProCALL Blocker" version 2, which I bought at Amazon for $59.99 with Free Shipping. This device BLOCKS 1500 numbers. So much better than my Panasonic telephone which only blocked unsatisfactory 30 numbers.
I can "Blacklist" 1000 numbers, which should be adequate. There are way too many unwanted scam calls.
To install, simply Plug ProCALL Blocker between phone line and telephone. To use: Confirm the number on 800notes as an unwanted caller. Push the "SET" button (you will see the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 appear on LCD screen, Pick up receiver on phone, then dial 4, then dial *, then dial unwanted number, then push the forward or backward arrow buttons, LCD screen confirms & says "SAVED".
DONE YIPPEE GOOD RIDDANCE to RINGING phone from scumbags. They have harassed & annoyed me with at least 200 calls trying to get info about other people, not me.

This insane and continuous calling to me, who has no outstanding unpaid debts, is NOT profitable to these companies, and serves no purpose other than to violate the FDCPA. So why do they never stop calling? Why do they call for days, months, years, without stopping? They should call people that don't pay their bills, credit card and loan payments.

They called and rang my phone, I didn't answer, but they can't ring my phone anymore.
Thank you 800notes. When I get a call that I don't recognize, I immediately go to 800notes to research the number. If I learn it's somebody I don't want to receive another call again, I then BLACKLIST them on my new "ProCALL Blocker" version 2, which I bought at Amazon for $59.99 with Free Shipping. This device BLOCKS 1500 numbers. So much better than my Panasonic telephone which only blocked unsatisfactory 30 numbers.
I can "Blacklist" 1000 numbers, which should be adequate. There are way too many unwanted scam calls.
To install, simply Plug ProCALL Blocker between phone line and telephone. To use: Confirm the number on 800notes as an unwanted caller. Push the "SET" button (you will see the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 appear on LCD screen, Pick up receiver on phone, then dial 4, then dial *, then dial unwanted number, then push the forward or backward arrow buttons, LCD screen confirms & says "SAVED".
DONE YIPPEE GOOD RIDDANCE to United Recovery System. They have harassed & annoyed me with at least 200 calls trying to get info about other people, not me.

This insane and continuous calling to me, who has no outstanding unpaid debts, is NOT profitable to these companies, and serves no purpose other than to violate the FDCPA. If I learn it's somebody I don't want to receive another call again, I then BLACKLIST them on my new "ProCALL Blocker" version 2, which I bought at Amazon for $59.99 with Free Shipping. This device BLOCKS 1500 numbers. So much better than my Panasonic telephone which only blocked unsatisfactory 30 numbers.
I can "Blacklist" 1000 numbers, which should be adequate. There are way too many unwanted scam calls.
To install, simply Plug ProCALL Blocker between phone line and telephone. To use: Confirm the number on 800notes as an unwanted caller. Push the "SET" button (you will see the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 appear on LCD screen, Pick up receiver on phone, then dial 4, then dial *, then dial unwanted number, then push the forward or backward arrow buttons, LCD screen confirms & says "SAVED".
DONE YIPPEE GOOD RIDDANCE to United Recovery System. They have harassed & annoyed me with at least 200 calls trying to get info about other people, not me.

This is the way they work. Using different phone numbers, using fake Caller IDs.
I don't have any outstanding debts! NONE.
This insane and continuous calling to me, who has no outstanding unpaid debts, is NOT profitable to these companies, and serves no purpose other than to violate the FDCPA. So why do they never stop calling? Why do they call for days, months, years, without stopping? They should call people that don't pay their bills, credit card and loan payments.

If I learn it's somebody I don't want to receive another call again, I then BLACKLIST them on my new "ProCALL Blocker" version 2, which I bought at Amazon for $59.99 with Free Shipping. This device BLOCKS 1500 numbers. So much better than my Panasonic telephone which only blocked unsatisfactory 30 numbers.
I can "Blacklist" 1000 numbers, which should be adequate. There are way too many unwanted scam calls.
To install, simply Plug ProCALL Blocker between phone line and telephone. To use: Confirm the number on 800notes as an unwanted caller. Push the "SET" button (you will see the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 appear on LCD screen, Pick up receiver on phone, then dial 4, then dial *, then dial unwanted number, then push the forward or backward arrow buttons, LCD screen confirms & says "SAVED".
DONE YIPPEE GOOD RIDDANCE to United Recovery System. They have harassed & annoyed me with at least 200 calls trying to get info about other people, not me.

WILL SPAM CALLS EVER STOP??????? Some people on 800 Notes say that DO NOT CALL does not apply to collections. However, since they don't have any reason to be calling me about MY credit (which maybe they would have a right to do if my credit was bad), DO THEY HAVE TO RIGHT TO HARASS ME CONTINUOUSLY AND RELENTLESSLY TO ATTEMP TO GAIN INFORMATION ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE? I don't think so!! See below what I'm experiencing.
My life is a living daily SPAM-CALL-HELL, and I can't get out and I've done nothing to deserve this. When will this harassment end? Yes I am on DO-NOT-CALL list. Yes, I do not have outstanding debits. Yes, I pay all my bills earlier than on time.

This insane and continuous calling to me, who has no outstanding unpaid debts, is NOT profitable to these companies, and serves no purpose other than to violate the FDCPA. I live in Orlando, so United Recovery System is using Caller ID tricks to get me to answer the phone, thinking it is a local call. SCUM.

They called, I picked up phone said HELLO, they responded by saying "This phone call is being recorded for quality assurance". They did not identify themselves.

I just got a call from this number today. First, there was a lady at the other end with a funny English accent. She sounded Russian to me. She told me she was collecting the full amount of my balance from my Home Depot Loan. My balance was $2000 something. And I was shocked to learn this because I didn't get any notice from Home Depot that they had submitted my account for collection. But they continue to send me monthly billings of $77, which I always pay off at the store. So, I asked her how was it possible that they put my account for collection without notifying me? She said they've been trying to notify us, via mail, eight times already. I asked at what address? She gave me my physical home address -- not my mailing address which is a P.O. box. So, I thought that was funny and asked her why Home Depot didn't give them my mailing address when they always bill me at that address! She asked for my mailing address. I gave it to her and now regretted it. To cut the story short, she gave the phone to a man, claiming to be the manager, because I refused to pay the full amount today over the phone. The one thing that suspected me that this was a scam was the fact that they wanted me to pay over the phone by asking for my credit card number. So, I told them, I'd call Home Depot first to verify if my account was really up for collection. And he said I could verify it but I have to pay first. LOL. He probably thought I was stupid. But I got him dancing in my hands.
I asked for his contact number and this is he gave me:

His name was Kyle Winton. I forgot the name of the lady I spoke before him. He wanted me to settle this now, asking me to pay $200 first then later changed it to $350 when I asked for his mailing address. He said he'd give me his company's mailing address if I pay $350. LOL. And this was going to be done over the phone by giving him my credit card information! What was he thinking?
I just hanged up the phone on him. It was clearly a scam. DO NOT BE FOOLED!

He wanted me to settle this now, asking me to pay $200 first then later changed it to $350 when I asked for his mailing address. He said he'd give me his company's mailing address if I pay $350. LOL. And this was going to be done over the phone by giving him my credit card information! What was he thinking?
I just hanged up the phone on him. It was clearly a scam. DO NOT BE FOOLED!

I received a call from this number not only on my cell phone but also at work. The number is a Orlando number however they are calling from Dallas Texas.After doing some research I found this was illegal, I DO NOT OWE anyone any money so. They have also contacted my in-laws up North( a number I have NEVER share with anyone) no need to.

My fiances Dad just called saying that some rude person called from this number. Whats funny is I never lived there! I looked it up and didn't call back. I have dealt with these people before and I refuse to deal with them again! I have worked for debt companies in the past but never one like this one. These companies buy your loans for PENNIES on the dollar and demand the whole amount. I would fight if anyone is having problems with these people. It can be settled and as long as payments are made they can not harass you.

they call and are completely RUDE! A bunch of losers on the phone who get paid $4 an hour or something....they have no education or skills so they get jobs like this and sit in a room calling people HARASSING them so I suggest you pick up the phone and give them relentless calls back..just my opinion and/or suggestion.

Got a call from this number, claimed to be someone from United Recovery System. Its a SCAM tried to get information from me but werent successful. BE AWARE !!

I've been receiving numerous calls from this number 407-956-1502- which is an Orlando number but they did not leave a message. When I returned the call to inquire as to what it is about, I was told by someone that it was (slurred) URS ... but they would not tell me what URS stood for. After 3 calls I learned that it is United Recovery Systems and that the calls were made out of Houston, Texas (remember an Orlando, FL #). Thus, the number is being spoofed - which I thought was illegal. This is obviously a vulture debt collection service and I don't owe anyone any money. I have told them not to call numerous times but they still call. NOW PAY BACK – you can call this number and harass them too!

Call came in at 8:02A as Orlando, FL 407-956-1502 but it is actually spoofed (she called it routing - either of wish is illegal) from Houston, Texas 888-505-1573. It's United Recovery Services. I called them back to ask where they were calling from. The rude man would not give me a physical location. I then called again and spoke with a nice lady, Chasity --I told her to delete my number from their calling system and that they were in violation of the Federal Trade Commission. I have written several letters and have told them to quit calling with no luck. Let's see if it works this time? I don't owe them any money.

I got a call from this number and it was a woman's voice. She asked for me by my first name, I was firm with her and asked what did she want, and she hung up. Must have scared her.

Contact an attorney if you are receiving calls from a debt collection agency and you are in bankruptcy. They are not allowed to call you once a petition has been filed in court and the creditor has been notified. They can be fined a great deal of money for harassing consumers.
If you ask a simple question, "who is URS and what is this in regards", they should tell you who they are, not give you attitude because you won't confirm who they are speaking with.

This is a debt collection agency which Capital One uses for all their loans and credit cards. URS employees (all except for one I have talked to) are extremely rude and condescending. I informed them that I was recording the calls as well as they claimed to be for "quality assurance" and they hung up on me. They have harassed me. Yes, I do have an overdue car payment; however, I just caught up on my loan with one large payment...and they still call. Capital One has sold the loan for my car to this company, so now that I am caught up on my payments...they still want payment in full! They say that even though the payments are actually even ahead one month, I am still going to be considered in collections until the loan is paid off! A total crock of ****.

This is the third collection agency that has called me about Eva or Shontel Williams. I called URS at 1-800-568-0399 and asked them why they were calling me. They said Eva Williams. I then told URS to Google my phone number, which they did. I told them that was me Steve N and they said they would put my number on the do not call list for Eva Williams. Eva and Shontel (I do not know them or who they are) live in my area and luck of the draw they used my phone number for theirs. The other two collection agencies stopped when I did the same with them so hopefully URS will do the same.
If you Google a listed phone number it will show the owner.

I received a call from this number and the person on the other end asked for "boo". I thought to myself...boo who? So before I cry about it over the phone, I told them wrong number and hung up. Just let your machine screen your calls and good luck.
