This number called 2/1/10 at 5:02 p.m. Caller ID said "Call Pharma." I called back and a recording said "not in service." What's that about.

Some states allow you to claim for damages under something akin to harrassment. You can sue per violation. I've heard Florida allows $500 per violation ie. Can sue in small claims.
That 10k fine by the FCC is never enforced. The Do Not Call Registry is just a threat. It's rarely enforced. Local judges are more sympathetic (supposedly). Pass it on. Love this site.

received a call from this number at 12:49 am. rang 3 times, no one on the other end. tried calling it back and it said it was not a valid number.
