I have received the same phone repeatedly, but it is from a 310-599-5751 number.  When I called my phone service provider to find out what I could do to put a stop to it they informed me that I would need to receive a call at least 3 times from the same number in order to block it, but I don't think that blocking that one number would be sufficient to put a stop to it unfortunately.

I have received several calls from this number. Each time I speak to an operator I tell them I have no credit card debt and to please take me off their call list. Each time they hang up on me. The area code is listed in the San Jose area, and it's a company called Multicom Grp. There is no listing for any company by that name that I can find. I'm sure it's a scam. I hope their building burns down.

For the last 2 nights we get calls from this number between 1;45 - 2:45 AM!
One ring, then they hang up.  We are on the do not call list.

Over the last couple of days my phone rings once several times a day. for the last two nights in the row it rang at 1:31AM and my caller ID showed this number with "AR Infotech" for name. I called the number and I got a recording saying: "If you don't wish to receive promotions press 1 to get your number removed from our list".

The have called me a few times but the last two days it was at 4:30 am and 5:am. I deeply value my sleep since i have a young child in the home. i called the number back to see who it was and i got a recording with the option to be taken off their call list. So i pressed that option but guess what? They still call. This is very annoying.

Two nights in a row at around 3 and again at 4. It rings 2 times and then, nothing. Caller ID indicates this number. Number not listed on Yahoo reverse phone # lookup.

3am on July 8, 2009, 2am July 9, 2009.  No voice, just this number.

Call from 408-651-8180 came into our cell phone last night around 4:30am.  Rang once..just enough to awaken me!  One does wonder how some outfit can get away with causing such a nuisance to so many.  Obviously being on every "do not call" list known to man does not work.

this call come in at 3am, 4am, 5am when my family is a sleep We have small children and teenagers in the home. That call is so deadly.  can someone tell me how to block this number.  I have never answered the phone and don't intend to.

The number that shows up on my phone is 506-223-25027 not sure how that works but anyway it's almost the same thing except instead of saying that I have a big debt the want me to lower my credit cards interest rates.  When I ask them to take me off their list they hang up.  Now when they call I talk to someone and ask them a bunch of annoying questions and then at the end (when I've wasted 15-20 min of their time)  I ask them to take me off their list.  One guy got so mad he actually talked to me instead of hanging up and I politely responded if you waste my time again I'll waste yours take me off your list and you won't have this problem again.  Hope some one catches these people

I posted here, because others took the time to do so and the info Barb gave was helpful.  I too received a call "You have $6000 in Credit Card Dept and pay over 29% in interest..."

These people have called my work phone number [not even a home number] everyday for the past week, and after pressing "1", as soon as someone comes on the phone and I indicate I am not interested in talking about "Credit Card Dept" they hang up before I can even say "Remove me from your CALL List".  I am sure that's intentional.

As far as recourse, my Tel-Co (AT&T) won't block them but a Helpful lady gave me this advice.  That Phone Number is an "Unlisted" number (AT&T did try to reverse it). So AT&T Operator suggested that we call the "Silicon Valley" Better Business Bureau (408-213-0500) and report it.  She said if the BBB has enough complaints it would be turned over to the FBI or California Att Gen.

Same report as others have submitted - recorded message about excessive debt when in fact I have none.  Received several calls from this number.  Asked to be put on their "do not call" list.  They always hang up on me.

Absolutely incessant calls. Twice today. Seek legal action if possible.

Credit scam... If I get hung up on one more time... I swear. Someone just tell me where their office is located.  I have a foot to shove so far up their... Who do I call about this? What sort of law protects us against annoying people?

I called their 800 number and their 408 number. Both times they hung up on me when I asked why they were calling about my credit. Obviously a scam.

They call us constantly. We have no credit card debt. We constantly ask to be taken off their call list and they hang up on us. Now I have my 5 year old answer the phone when they call and press 1 and talk to the operator. I'm sure they are as annoyed as they us to make us.

early morning phone calls as well as late night phone calls are intrusive and obnoxious but even more annoying..? asking to be taken off the list n being hung up on... thats how u no they're a scam

They call repeatedly with a recording.  I no longer answer. I would never buy services from someone who calls me with a recorded message. NEVER!

We just got the recorded call a few minutes ago.  I phoned the number back, but it rang and rang until it disconnected me.  We're on the Federal and Wisconsin "No Call" list, and I don't have ANY credit card debt.  A Google search brought me here.

I received a recorded message stating that I have over $6,000 in credit card debt and that I'm paying in excess of 29% interest on same debt.  I stayed on the line, pressed "1" then spoke with a consultant (who barely even speaks ebonics poorly).  She stated, when asked, that she represented Allied Services (evidently a debt reduction company based on the promotion of their ability to reduce my credit card debt).  I asked her to tell me how their company knew that I had over $6,000 in credit card debt at which point, she abruptly hung up on me. I swear...people!

Yes.  I received a call from on 04/21/10 on my cell phone while at work.  i pushed 1 to talk to the caller...she was very rude.

number came up on the caller ID as Camp Patrick. not sure if that's supposed to be Patrick Camp or just Camp Patrick. :P  call went to voicemail, left no message.

I push the "1" to tell them not to call me anymore and the a**h*** said "No! I told him I recognized a dummy and hung up.  I'm sure it is the same company.

I received 3 calls on 7/10/09 during the night, and 5 calls on 7/9/2009.  The phone rings just 1 time, but enough to wake me from sleep thinking some family member is having an emergency.  The CallerID shows "AR INFOTECH" or Unknown.  I have filed an official complaint at www.donotcall.gov so maybe the federal government will stop them.

they join a long list of scumbag harrassers. it seems every 2-4 weeks one of these catches hold of us for a week or so then they go away until the next one comes along. is this something we are all just supposed to get used to - like a coyota in the forest who smells our food for a few days then leaves? we all know that the more emotionally involved we get with their harassment the more power we give to them. but it's really hard to accept getting called at 3:37am..www.arthurlipner.com
