I received the same call today, when I told her I was very aware of the little scam she was trying to pull she hung up on me.  Another # from California called me yesterday telling me I had to call him back right then. I knew it was a scam but I played their little game and called back. His name was Mark Williams when I asked to speak to him they said there was no Mark Williams that worked there but told me I stole money from the internet. When I told him I needed all the info against me he said he wasn't my servant and hung up. The same person called back and when I told him I was going to report him to the FBI he told me to go ahead and call them while he was on the phone and he would have them put me under the jail. He started screaming at me in some language besides English then hung up.

Daniel Scott from India I guess... Such a terrible cover up name. Anyway! Called my job today. I'm a hospice nurse that works out in the field so I'm not in an actual office. I keep getting calls from my boss relaying these messages. I'm so furious and want it to stop. This is my job they're playing with. No person with an ounce of sense would send them money. Sick of it!

A Lisa  Smith called and said that I owed money for a loan, she said I needed to send a letter to her stating that I did owe the money and that I agree to repay it by sending them a pre-paid credit card. I called the Corporate office of the real company and I informed them that their name was being used to SCAM!! Needless to say they were not very happy about it and thanked me..

Oh my gosh, they called me at work today...I let the idiot give me his spill then I requested a fax of all information against me. he said that he could not do this. I said, then I would let him speak to my husband who just happened to be a lawyer..He hung up...Idiot didn't even realize that he had called me at work and that my husband wouldn't be there.....All a scam!!!!!

This indian man keeps calling me from different phone numbers. Claims i need to call back or the police will come to my home and work.  He uses different names the most recent one being daniel scott.  Dont respond to him.  He has even called my job a.d harassed my supervisors.  Where can i report him to.

i recieved a call from this number from lisa saying that i owe 583.00 from cash advance n if i don't get to her a pay them i would be summon in court today n she even call my job. Its scary because i don't know how she got my number or work number. she even threaten to charges againt me...

I also received a call today from this Daniel person. Prior to this call a female called saying if I did not call back she could only wish be the best of luck. I have checked my account and there is no transcations with or from this company. I have done payday loans online but not this company.After this I just have to budget myself better because it is not safe. It is scary how my information has been exploited. What can be done about this?

They just called me at work. Stating I accepted a pay day loan. WHich IVE NEVER DONE! THIS IS VERY DISTURBING! How did they get my work number???!!!

Got call from Daniel scott no way  had heavy accent told me I had charges against my name I told no i did not no of company they say I had a loan thru  they said they come and arrest me I told them to come on ii would like to meet him face to face then we could settlye it

Keep getting the same call here as well, same message that appears above about having charges against me.

hell they got my whole ssn and address and all i call them back and they get rude and hang up so I put on face book  their phone number and told every one to re post this number and to call it and make up a name and ask stupid questions for me lol the jokes on them and i called this number 18773824357 Federal trade commission then i put a block on my bank account, and on my credit you can call 18883973742 and put an alert on your credit so if some one trys to use your information aginst you you will get a call from the credit reporting company they will ask you if it is an ok transaction i got them from all sides lol they messed with the wrong person today lol do this just in case you never know i am reporting them to all companies there is no bbb report about this company at all so they are undetected be carefull what you put on the internet thats how they got my stuff.

I just  opend my voice mail with a call from Daniel Scott and I instantly knew he was reading from a script. He said the EXACT same thing you posted. Why can't these people be stopped just like they catch the people doing the income tax scam get these jokers!! So tired of these calls.

Someone named Daniel Scott called to say that they were filing papers in the Courthouse for a parent Company named Cash Advance and they would not divulge who the company was that they were representing and that the amount owed was 569.33 and that they had sent me 3 emails and that they were going to charge me with cybercrimes.

just got a phone call from 480-660-8556. he said the he was calling from the federal something or other. he asked me if i was aware of the charges against me and i said no. he asked me if i wanted to hear the details. i said yes. he then asked me to verify my information. I told him not to call me at work. He said okay that he would send the police and hung up.

I then googled the number. I knew it was a scam. I wish these people would leave me alone.  I think they got my information from a pay day loan company. I have already had to close my checking account and get a new one. I am tired of the harrassment.

Some terrorist sounding person left me a message and said that I owed money for a payday loan. He stated that they were pursuing legal charges and I would be arrested.  I called him back and he said I needed to set up a payment plan and fax a letter to him stating that I did owe the money and that I agree to repay it.  After I did some checking online I found out that this is infact a scammer.  I called him back again and told him that I just spoke to my attorney and informed him that it is illegal to threaten legal actions over the phone.  I also told him that he was in violation of the Fair Trade Commission and that I would now be pressing charges against him.  As soon as I said that he hung up.  Don't acknowledge them, don't call them back.  It's just BS.

BTW - They might have your DOB and the last 4 of your SS number, but don't fall for it

What a bunch of losers..I don't understand how they can't be stopped.... It's always the exact same message...the very second you get this call, I need you or your retained attorney....blah blah blah

Have had these people call before and never had anything bad happen to me. The caller generally has a heavy, I believe Indian, accent and is almost unintelligible on the answering machine message. I am also told that if they don't hear from me or my attorney, that they wish me luck. They might need the luck after a number of complaints against them. If they call again, I may file a complaint with the FCC. I would guess they're using phone records and the Internet to find various public records to find their next victim. Amazing that nobody can put these people out of business or in jail. Have also thought of the possibility of an overseas scam being routed through a US phone number in California. Hard to tell but I just ignore them.

Just got a call from them telling me that they have a summons for me if I don't call them back on my lunch, funny thing is I'm not at work, had a feeling they are a scam, just want to know how they got my name, address and phone number and last 4 of my ssn

They say they have a case against me and that I narrowed money and that they're taking me to court. Started asking me if I had a lawyer. An if I need one. One guy even cursed at me. I was like is this for real so I looked into it.  TOTAL SCAM!!  Just tell them to get lost

Called me at work. Told me that "their client" had 3 charges against me for accepting their funds (never did) & trying to "run" with their money to not pay them back! Hah!! What a scam!!!!
