Picked up the call from this number and it was a recorded message from some company offering a MasterCard, some company called SBS or SBF, I hung up before I heard any details.

On 2/28/08 at 9:40am I received recorded call from Kathy pushing credit card authorization ability.  Name and voice was same as a Kathy pushing small business loans and credit cards.

You can't call these people back.  They are an automated system that just calls you every month.  I have tried to stop their calls but can't.

408-886-6270 is the number for the Small Business Network. They are offering creditcards with "UP TO" $250K spending limit etc. They are based in California. The number to call to speak to a person and TRY to get off the call list is 866-581-4149.  But good luck with that. If your number is listed on the DO NOT CALL registry, report them it on the DONOTCALL.GOV website. Also check your local laws - in WASHINGTON STATE it is ILLEGAL for companies to use electroinic devices to contact you to sell you goods or services and comes with a $500.00 fine PER CALL!!

Got a call about all this good stuff for a Small Business Network. The call came from 408-886-6270 and told me to call back at 866-581-4149. Our number is on the DO NOT CALL list.

I answered, no one there.

This appears to be the telemarketing efforts of the Small Business Network out of California.  While there is an opt put option when they call, the calls generally resume in 2-4 weeks after the opt out.  I have also gone to their website (http://smallbiz.infopeople.org/misc/thankyou.html), selected 'Contact Us,' and requested to be taken off their call list.

My cel received 2 missed calls today (2-28-08) from this phone number.

Have been getting these calls - automated telemarketer - Small Business Network - we don't have any dealings with them & they won't stop - very annoying.

Automated pre-recorded call to cell phone on state and national DNC

Have been getting these calls at various times for a month. Today I called them back and they said they were calling on behalf of small business network to verify our membership. I told them they had dialed a residential telephone and to please place my number on their do not call list. Fellow on the phone was very polite but I have little faith he can or will actually do anything about the calls. Calls are obviously generated by an auto dialer, hit or miss, and they have no idea who they are goign to be speaking with; also explains the deadline when I have answered this ID number.

Received the same call several times over the last few months.

I picked up the phone but no one was on the other end.  It came through as out of area.
