They just called me 3 times, I answered the first 2 times and just let it sit there and then said "quit calling" and hung up.  The 3rd time I let it go to vm and he left a message saying that he was with some loan place and I was approved for 7500 just need to call him back with my bank acct info.  I understand that some ppl are desperate for money and hopefully they dont fall for this and give their info.  These ppl call the same time every yr and its either "we have a warrant and u must pay" or "u've been approved for a loan"  So sick of these calls.

Just received a call from this number.  Man claimed that my son was approved for a loan of $10,000 and that he wanted his information to deposit the money into my sons account.  I took done his information.  He said that he was from United Cash Loans and that it was imperative that my son call him back.  He also said that his name is Eric Stept.  Of course we all know that this is not the mans true name.  Be careful if this number comes up.  It is a scam

Got a call from 408-905-2499 Matt Lewis said I was approved for a $5000 loan with payments of $285 a month for 19 months ( total $415 interest) but I need to go to cvs and get a money pack for $285 to prove myself to the company ( United cash loans) then they would deposit the money. Sounded a little fishy so I asked a friend and couldn't even finish the story before she said DON'T DO IT!!!! She almost got scammed by them a few years ago . And after doing a little research I see that that is confirmed.

Just got their call stating that I inquired about a cash loan and they want to give me $7500.  The said they were from United Cash Loans.  So irratating they call every hour

I have been called many times (running up my min.) offering a loan of 5K  for 17 mos. @ $330.00/mo., (total $610 interest) and wanted me to go to CVS Pharmacy and buy something costing $330 cash then they would dep. the $5,000.  I declined, one of the reasons being I had a similar offer yesterday to just give me 2.5 million dollars if I would go to Walmart and buy a card for $150, which I also declined after reading about SCAMS of the deal. The name & phone no. they used today was Steve Hart, mgr. of United Cash Loans @ 408-905-2499, but I have calls all day from other numbers they apparently use.

i just got a call from 408-905-2499 stating that i have been aproved for a $5000 dollar loan an that i had to fax them proof of my income they had most of my info but a flag went up when he asked me to verafiy my ss number and my Routing number along with my last four digits of my checking accout number so please folks be safe an don't give out any info if they can't tell you thear BBB number then they are fake.

from caller 408-905-2499 pauses at first states his name is Roman Pierce from Financial Crime Department stating has a legal action against my wife and some how has the last 4 numbers of her social states will contact her employer and file legal action.

I just received a all from the same people. I first got a call from 911. The guy on the other end stated that he was from the California FBI. He said that I need to call the 408 number. When I called. I got no answer, so I left a message. When he called back, he stated that his name was Agent Hunt and that I have an Pay Day Advance loan that needs to be paid. Before I called him I already looked up his number and found all of the complaints. I let him talk, then told them that I knew that he was a fake and I was going to call the police!

I Just Got One Of Those calls from the same fake police with the number 408-905-2499 it got me scared at first but I knew to do my research where I got this website which helped out a lot always do your research which is what I teach my kids to do so they don't get got off guide. Thanks

Wanna get back at these ppl do what we did prankdial.com.you can spoof a number and record them answering and talking... pretty funny but they deserve it!  you get three prank dials a day for free we call this number everyday now we were sick of their neverending scams.... they are off our backs now.

I had call from same number and guy. The first time they called from 911 number saying he was a police officer named Brooks from state police. I informed him my name was actually officer brooks, from local police department. I thought it was a joke, until I read the others saying his name is officer brooks.

Received a call from this number threatening that he reported me to the my state police department and have me arrested.  Plus, if I don't return his phone call, I may lose my job.

my wife received a call from 911 statin that he was an officer and that he had a pending warrant for my arrest if we didnt make payment that they would have my husband arrested this after noon well after that he called my husband and told him to call this person and make a payment arragment for this upcoming friday for 590 dollars that we need to go to walmart and get a moneypak and call them with a confrimation number. we called local police they ran his name nation wide and locally no warrant is issued for his name no where and that this is a scam i cant wait for tnem to call back because they will hear words they have never heard when they cal THIS S*** NEEDS TO STOP!

they called said their name was officer buertz talking about they going to issue an arrest warrent if we dont call them back and going to jail for 7months

this number called my phone and is trying to have me arrested for something that i don't knoww. they are wanting money from me and didn't tell me what it was for. i have called the police, fbi, and federal trade commission.

I have been getting calls from them all day and they would not give me there company name until I gave them my name then it seemed like he had to look up my name to find out what story that they had used. He had my address and the name of the bank I had was a federal bank. He told me it was a 250.00 loan from Advance america but could not give me a datefrom when this was done. He told me that the court house would be calling me at my home or job to come arrest me for this loan. He told me I would have to pay a 1500.00 fine and spend 6 mo 29 days in jail if I didnt take care of this . He told me I needed to take him serious because I was going to jail and hung up on me. I called the sheriff dept in my county they told me they couldnt tell me if there was a warrent but did tell me that this is the 3rd call they had received and that one person sent them money . She also told me to never anser the phone from them again. It is just crazy how these people have nothing better else to do then mess with peoples lives

Thank you for the information.  I filed the complaint with the FCC and I called the number back and told them the same thing.  Hopefully, the phone calls will stop!!!  They have called 3 times today and it is only 1:30 pm.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I have been getting calls from these people for over 2 years now.  They call non stop for days and then I don't hear anything from them for a several months.  I have tried to get a company name and told them if I really do owe them money they need to send me written notice.  I am getting worried that they are calling my work number.

The man named Jack Martin just called my phone while I was sleeping and continued to call my boyfriends phone and when my boyfriend answered asked if I was applying for payday loans. When he said yes he continue to harass my boyfriend saying that I lied on my application and now he's going to issue an arrest warrant if I don't immediately pay their fines. I have no idea what he's talking about! But I know people don't normally give you a heads up when you're about to be arrested. Thank you Google for allowing me to find out quickly how dangerous talking to this man actually is. He's NOT from a law firm, You are NOT about to go to jail!

This is so funny you have to laugh - yesterday got a call from the same number threatening that I had a warrant and he wished me luck - I just got a call from the same number stating I was approved for a payday loan of $1500 so to call right away.

I got this call and same thing all of you are saying. They even called and it showed up on my called id as 911. Called police and they laughed because 1 they had nothing on me and 2 the guy asked if they could come arrest me and the officer I talked to said we don't ask we just come get you lol!! So yes def. a scam!!

Just received a phone call from an officer Christopher Brooks, East Indian accent, 911 #, telling me he was and police officer and that there was a warrant out for my arrest for a Payday loan from US Cash Advance for $400.  Asking me what am I going to do about it, telling me I need to call this other # 408-905-2499, and make payment, then call him back at 213-289-3926, to confirm payment.  And that if I didn't make payment, he was going to arrest me at my job.  I told him I am not paying anything over the phone for a loan I didnt take out.  He got real angry and started threatening me, saying he was going to come to my job and arrest me.  so I told him I was broke and that I would make payment on Friday, that was the only thing that made him happy.  So I got off the phone and called my local police department, asked them to check if I had any warrants out for my arrest and he laughed, saying that $$$ issues are civil matters, and are not handled that way.  He did confirm that I do not have any warrants, which calmed me down, and that this is a scam.  I called him back, telling him that it was confirmed by my local police department that I do not in fact have a warrant and that things like this were handled differently.  He tried to say he was in LA and they work different down there, and that the police dont have national databases for all of CA. LIES ALL LIES!!!  I called him out on it and would not back down, he then hung up on me as they always do and will not answer the phone.  And funny thing is, when I called the other #, it was his voice on the recording, sooooooooo there you have it, THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive been getting the calls from the same person. Told me he was going to have me arrested for internet fraud n call my job n tell them that i did if i didnt go to wal mart n send a payment of $100 now. I didnt know  what was going on. I was scared n crying. Im a single mother of two and didnt know what to do so i did what he asked of me. Then i got into my lawyers and explained everything. He told me the guy was full of it n not to talk to him or give him another penny. He still calls me non stop at this time. But im in the process of legal action at this time. Dont fall for it like i did please
