keeps calling and when I pick up they hang up on me.  and when I call the no. back I get nothing.  The no. says Galveston, Tx.

Didn't leave a message and didn't call back.

Got a call today from Galveston TX, and like everyone else in here i got the dial tone after I said hello twice. I am so annoyed by people who call and hang up. Called back and all i got was a busy signal.

Don't know if this came through on my cell phone or was a forward from my office.
I'm just going to block the number from both locations.

THEY CALLED ME SAID THEY WAS FROM MEDICARE THAT A NEW CARD WAS ON ITS WAY MEDICARE TOLD ME THEY NEVER ASK ANY THING ABOUT BANK ACCOUNTS  I CALLED  THIS NUMBER  BACK THE LADY WAS NOT AND AMERICAN SHE WAS VERY RUDE  SHE ASK MY AGE I TOLD HER SHE SAID THAT I SOUND LIKE 91 SHE WAS MAD BECAUSE I ASK TO SPEAK TO AND AMERICAN I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HER SHE THEN HUNG THE PHONE UP I CALLED  HER BACK AGAIN SHE DID THE SAME   THE NEXT TIME I CALLED HER SHE SAID I WOULD HAVE A LETTER IN MAIL  HUNG UP I CALLED AGAIN ASK WHY SHE WANTED MY BANK INFORMATION SHE SAID TO MAKE SURE I WAS THE RIGHT PERSON HUNG UP AGAIN SHE GAVE ME NO TIME AT ALL TO ASK WHY SHE WANTED MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER  PLEASE HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER HAD THESE PEOPLE TO TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR BANK PLEASE ANSWER

Got a call from this number early this afternoon. Nobody there when answered. Caller ID says Galveston, Texas. This is about the 10th number of this sort that I have blocked recently. Blocking them actually doesn't do much good. I belive they use a phone hub that has multiple numbers associated with it and after a few days they just change the number they are using. They don't care about the No Call Registry as the Government doesn't do squat about it anyway. Takes too many resources and too much man power to actually track them down and arrest them. Kind of sad really. People that have so much time on their hands wasting all that energy trying to scam and hurt hard working people, when they could be using their energy to accomplish something good.

I got a call from this number and nothing. Caller ID said Texas.  I blocked the number.

I just answered the phone, ID said Texas.  Phone just clicked when they hung up.  Don't think it could be a collection agency.  I have not debts.  Just irritating.  It was busy when I called back.

Called our number. I wasn't going to pick up as I did not recognize the number but my housemate picked up, said hello but no one answered on the other end, no click, just silence. Caller ID displayed "TEXAS" .. we have been getting at least one of these kinds of calls once daily, sometimes twice, from different numbers, sometimes serially from the same number (besides this one)..

I received a call from this number at 12:30 p.m. on April 25, 2012. The caller hung up as soon as I said hello. The caller-ID says "unknown name".

Ansewered, no on there.

This number keeps calling my house. All of my phones have been listed on the
NO CALL LIST for a couple of years now.
That means..... DO NOT CALL ME.

Tried to call them back....call cannot be completed as dialed. Added it to my blocked list.

I just got this call and ID says Galveston TX.  This stuff is so out of control, people are cancelling landline phone service right and left, and the phone companies are only going to be left with these call centers for customers, and no one to call. PHONE COMPANIES: You know who they are! You run huge phone service cables into their buildings!  CLEAN UP YOUR INDUSTRY OR WATCH IT COLLAPSE!

got a call from this # at almost 7:00pm central time!  when I tried to call back it said "call cannot be completed as dialed.  please check the number and try your call again"

Called @ 3:30 PM CST; CID said Galveston, TX; didn't leave a message on the machine.  Hope they burn in hell.

This # calls and nothing

I received the call at 11;07, on 2/28/12. They hung up on me when I said Hello. I called them back and it was not a working number. Very childish of them and annoying too. The CID said Out Of Area. I only answered, because when I get calls from over seas that is what it says on my cid. Any who I wished someone could stop the calls. Step up Phone Company and stop them. Called me today @ 3:09 ET, Answered and no one there.  I just hung up.  I've been gettin a lot of these lately.  It must be some new kind of marketing testing company to see what numbers have live people answer.  We'll  I'm on that list now!.  Oh...by the way.  The do not call list is a scam.  They do nothing.  Don't bother callling or writing them, your wasting your money and time.

Received a call from this number approximately 12:30 p.m. Pacific coast time, but did not answer.  It just rang and rang for several minutes before they gave up.  Judging from the comments above, I guess the caller must be using a spoofed caller ID.

Same scenario, they called, I picked up, they hung up.  Very strange.

I got a call from the same number this morning (1/27/2012) and just like everyone else, they hung up when I answered.  Very strange.

I got call on 1/27/12 and person on other end Hung up when I answered.  I called back and number was no good.

Received call 1/24/2012 at 12:09 PM. Call ID said, Unknown. I do not answer Unknowns.

Ha ha Now that's funny!  Thanks for the laugh.  I got the call and ignored it as I do anybody who calls and leaves no msg. Don't you answer that 'special' call.

I received a call from this number tonight and when I answered no one was on the other end.  I called the number and a message came up stating that the number is no longer in service.  I have the same question how is this possible?  May be this should be brought to the attention of the Attorney General's office.
