I just spent 20 min on the phone with bank of america and this id NOT BofA!!  they're truing to get your account number...

Received the Call, they immidiately put you on hold with a machine that states, "We appreciate your patience, a representative will be with you shortly." Don't even know why I got this call..... I do have BofA Accounts but have never been late with any of them for over 20 years,,,,and often pay off the acounts.......They are calling my Cell Phone

If you want these guys to go to jail, next time, patiently wait, and talk to the rep. ask them what this is all about. They will tell you its about a past due amount. Do not admit anything to these people, but tell them that you need all their information in the event, AFTER you verify if the account is yours, where you would send the payment, IF you find out, after your investigation that this is indeed your account. The key is getting a company and an address.

then, send them a notarized cease and desist letter.

Of course they are going to ignore it.

when they do, file a motion and they will owe you $1,000 per offense.

chances are, they will end up owing YOU more money than the other way around, and case dismissed.

several calls within minutes of each other...I answer and there is no response

I got a call from 410-229-6116 to my cell and when I answered, a voice message came on and said "thank you for your patience...." I hung up. I want these guys in jail. How can I make that happen?

Just be aware if they write it off your next debt collector will be Uncle Sam as the bank will provide you and the IRS with a 1099 and the IRS considers the debt is then income in the year issued.  So who would you rather pay considering the amount + interest + penalties?

This number along with 800-669-0102 and 602-597-4625 call here for someone who never worked here.  I have asked on so many occasions to have the phone number removed, I'm blue in the face.  These people won't get a clue when I tell them that "so-n-so" does not work here!  It's frustrating.  And, on top of that they aren't even dialing the right number.  Very frustrating.

Okay, this # keeps calling my 13 year old's cell phone!  WTF?  She's GOT no $, no job, no nothing!  She's 13!

I got a call as well.  If you have filed Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy, and there is a file number, they cannot call you anymore.  Your attorney needs to be made aware of this immediately as it violates the Fair debt act.

bank of America called as card services and wants to cut your credit cards , or move you to a different kind of credit so you are locked to pay them back , they are finding ways to cut their expenditures ways to increase interest rates on your cards , by moving you to a different program , and they say not who they are so i don't believe they bank of America.

Just got a call from them. My wife has a card with BOA. These stinkers lowered her credit limit by 50%, then raised her interest rate to 28%!!!! because she is now all of a sudden using too much of her credit. This bank now practically belongs to the people, us. They are crooks and extortionists, to say the least.

They call me multiple times everyday.  I am not late on my credit card payments so I don't know why they are calling.  They never leave a message.  If it was a legitimate call, they would leave a message and I would call back.  This let's me know it is a scam.  They called me early this morning and woke me up.  I have a sore throat and needed my sleep.  It is afternoon now and I have not been able to go back to sleep.  This is now affecting my job performance.  If I had been able to sleep until my alarm went off, I would have been able to go to work.  So I called the number back and they answered, "card services".  I asked what company this was and she wouldn't tell me.  She asked for my phone number so she could look it up and tell me why they were calling.  When I refused to give out my personal information to a stranger she said, "OK. Have a nice day" and hung up.  I am now going to have to put my phone and answering machine in the basement where I can't hear it.  My mother is 87 years old and in poor health.  If she has an emergency and is unable to reach me, it will be on their conscience, if they had one!

Am being bombarded with calls from this number. Refuse to answer. They leave no message. Irritating interuptions to a tranquil evening.

I have no Bank of America accounts. Yet I get calls from this number on my cell phone.  Additionally, no one except my immediate family knows my cell phone number.  I am convinced this is a scam attempt trying to get me to pay a non-existing debt or perhaps gather information for identity theft.  (I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.)

called my cell phone asking for someone I've never heard of.  I've had this same cell number since the early 90's.  They've called twice now.  They obviously don't believe me that I'm not this person.

I get many calls from them every day.

Called my cell phone and then 2 minutes latter called my home phone. Caller ID said COCKEYSVLMD

Called 3 times.  Late night.  No one on line.

Call at 9:00 pm - no one on phone - Quit answering, believe it to ba a collection agency perhaps for BOA

The number is from Bank of America that is true, but not when you are only late with a payment.  I have never been been late with any payments, but I have carried a balance for several months and they called me to ask if I wanted to put on a different payment plan that would have closed the account...Be careful with this if you get a call like this, I looked into this and found out that yes they would close your account and put you on a 5 year pay off plan, but this will show on your credit report that the the bank requested to close the account not you, no matter what they tell you on the phone there is no other way the reporting agents will report this.

This number calls me nearly everyday, sometimes multiple times. They put you on hold with a machine that states, "We appreciate your patience, a representative will be with you shortly." When I got through after 8 minutes of being on hold, they asked for a different person...not me! I have had this number for 8 years. I have asked them to remove my number from the account multiple times, and they still call. How do we put an end to this, I've already signed up for the no call list. When you call the number back it says that the call is being answered by audix Ext:### and to leave a message. Im pissed.

How long can these people keep calling when you have filed chapter 7  It is driving me crazy??????????????????
