calls a few times every day... never leaves a message.  Where is the FCC?   I am on the DO NOT CALL list.

no message .... another one the FCC ignores to go after.  If congress and Obama want to save $$ start with the FCC.  They are a waste.

Got a power company pitch to switch my service provider on this number.  The poor slob making the call (from a call center, no doublt) identified the company as JCP&L (that would be Jersey Central Power and Light).    I am on contract to another provider, and would not do business with JCP&L in a million years (they have a bad reputation).  I do not want them or any  other any other power service providers to call.  These calls are coming in several times a day, usually opening with a recorded message.    I requested multiple times on this call  to be put on a do-not-call list; she hung up, most assuredly without doing any such thing.

As for the calling company, there's no way to know for sure,  My best guess is that this is a bottom-of-the-barrel contractor working for JCP&L.

I answered the damn call to get more info.  It does say rate reduction on the caller id.  The person on the line (probably in a call center) identified herself as representing JCP&L, which is a power company in NJ (one of the less desirable ones, if you read the media coverage on Sandy/Irene related power outages).  I stated several times (screaming, actually) that I wanted to be  put on a do not call list and that I did not want to get any more calls.  This is one of the ones that comes in several times a day.   By the way, we're on contract with a different one that signed us up in person.   She kept pushing her sales pitch, and I am absolutely certain I was not put on any sort of do-not-call list.   How do we get NJ to put a stop to this crap?
