Much ado about Damian ....  The persons who are the life blood of Outreach Calling are Mark Gelvan and Phil Braunstein aka Braun.  Another rock band Phil Braun performed with in North Jersey was called The Buzz.  He not only possesses an extremely appealing voice for music and for marketing, but he's also very handsome.  It's a close match with Damian in the good looks department.  Question is who's more respected, valued, and paid by OC owner Mark G.?  Check out Pres Phil's FB profile ...

I am almost positive that this is a really high quality voice recognition software.  Whereas Travis Church may be real somewhere, he is canned on the line with you. Really. Ask a question, and get the delay, then computer recognizes an appropriate answer to the question.  I am in Texas and find it hard to believe that Ole Travis is making all these calls.  So, mix it up, try a tricky question, bet he waits awhile before his programmed response.  The voice is so commanding that it fools you.  Say something about his Momma and see what you get, lol.

Too many repetitive calls!  Is Damian Muziani really more than a name on paper acting as the fall guy for Outreach Calling, Inc?  There's much posted concerning his professional affiliation with the company's owner Mark Gelvan.  But what does he actually do that benefits charity causes?  The president who has been involved with the company and deserves credit for building the donor tap lists with All Pro and CSI through the years has been go-to guy Phil Braun.  He works at the hands-on level as the boss of office management and is paid handsomely for his job directing non-profit solicitation.  In his spare time he's the lead vocalist for the rock group Not for Prophet,  You can see him in the center of the top photo on their web site ...

Hi Caryn.  I enjoyed reading your poetry online.  In the interest of full disclosure, and accuracy, please be aware that the telemarketing company you are referencing entered into a settlement with Mr. Spitzer and New York State Attorney General?s office where by no fine or penalty was accessed.  Additionally, in this settlement the New York Attorney General?s office confirmed that there was no finding of any wrong doing against the company or any of its officers, directors, or employees.

Outreach Calling in Reno is a total farse and Mike Flynn is a complete moron and a opioninated egotisical idiot and a fool. I have never heard so much fecal matter spewing from one individuals mouth!They should be shutdown and fined  - never to allow such a scanalous, fradulant company to exist.

Scamming old middle class people that are in fixed incomes and badgering them for money which is not even going to the cause they think they re supporting. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

I worked there also a couple years ago, they are a cheat! we can't take any donations under $10. the owner gets 90% of the money which is why they cant take a low donation or else the charity would get nothing. its a joke and a sin that Damian does this to people, especially when the donators feel that they are doing something good by helping out.  ALSO!!! if you don't make $50 in 2 hours they send you home, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!

I am currently an employee at the Outreach Calling call center. The address is 4751 Route 42 South Turnersville NJ 08012. It is above the liquor store. Damian Muziani is the owner. As employees, we are told that the reason we only donate 1-15% of the proceeds we collect is because the rest is used to keep the building operational and everyone's paycheck coming in each week. But if we only collect that much for charity, isn't the organization itself kind of unnecessary? Yep. I am currently searching for another job, as I am quite fed up with getting paid to swindle money from people over the phone. If you are called, to the best of my knowledge the best thing to do would be to request to speak to a verifier, then request that you be removed from the list. If you tell that to a regular call rep (the person pitching the sale to you) the best we can do is hit "Not Interested" which will remove you from the list for that specific organization for about 6 months. You will still be called from the same number in the meantime, but you will be asked to donate for different organizations. I am not sure, but I believe hitting "Business/Fax" as opposed to not interested removes you from that specific list permanently, however we would probably get fired for doing that on purpose. Talking to a verifier should remove you from all lists permanently, but it depends if they actually do it. They are supposed to, and I have seen them do it before, but they try to avoid it as much as they can. As has been said here before, never donate through a third party. Always give to your preferred charity directly. I hope I have been of use.

410 705 6172 continually calls my home and hangs up on the machine.  I understand it is a fraudulent company saying they are collecting for families of fallen police officers which is a lie.  I signed up for the call block of sales calls and they still call.

Constant annoying calls from this number all times of the day and night.  HOW DO WE STOP THEM FROM CALLING?

This number have been calling my home number for a quite long, 2-3 times /day, 7 days / week. I tried to call back, the answer ends at: Hello, Hello. Today (July 30, 2011) at 1:05pm, my phone rang, it was this number again and it was a man. Following was our conversation:

Xlong: Hi, what's your name? You have been called my number about 3 times/ per day, 7 days a week.
He: My name is Travis Church, I'm calling from Fraternal order of police of Maryland state lodge
Xlong: What do you want?
He: I am calling for fund raiser.
Xlong: Do you have biz website? What is your busyness address?
He: I do not have biz website, I do not have biz physical address.
Xlong: You are working at home, correct?
He: I am working for Fraternal order of police. It is in: 12 Christopher way, Suite 200, Eaton town NJ
Xlong: What's the zip code of the address?
He: I can't give you the zip code. I'm sorry, I can't remove your number from list. Anything else I can help today?
Xlong: No, thank you

They've been calling my hm phone for over a wk now and have never left a msg.  They normally call during the week in the afternoon around 3 or so.  Maybe today I'll answer and see who they're claiming to be or if they give me the breathing routine then I'll just remind them that this type of behavior is considered harassment!

I have received 2 calls per day, for the last week, from this number. Calls coming between noon and nearly 9 pm. I refuse to answer, and they never leave a message!

I received yet another call for 410-705-6172 today same as the one on July 12, which I wrote about above.  He goes onto my message box to only say "Hello... hello...".   Honestly, some people have some real issues.  I  need to report this as harassment.  It is happening too often.

This is illegal behavior but there doesn't seem to be anything you can do about it but share your experience with others here. I called the FTC and the State Attorney General, and Verizon. It is amazing how useless people can be.

The FTC exists to prevent consumer fraud. What a joke. They were completely uninterested.

I also called the Holy Land Spiritual Church Police Fire Crimeline (The Badge Fraud Tip Reporting Hotline 877-FRAUD-97) and all I get is dumped into voicemail. Can someone at Holy Land just be there and pick up the phone for a change? I don't believe they can do anything to help because they already know about this and IT'S STILL HAPPENING.

You would think one phone call to the right place could get this insect shut down. Forget it.

Scam, I get the weird breathing sometimes. We must be on a list. I was asked if I want to be put on a 'do not call list". I was also asked to donate for the police.

Same thing for me. A male voice asking for a name I didn't recognize and I said "you have the wrong number." He then asked me if I was the owner of the house and I asked "why do you need to know?" so he said "OK, I'll call back later and hung up.
