Just received a voicemail at my job about call back a 855-644-1936 about a case that is being brought up against me. No clue what it could be. The lady states that she is part of the liaison department and was working for the Department of Legal Services.

I just received a call from a lady named Olivia Stevenson from a number 1-877-791-5721, that claimed to be from the Department of Legal Services even provided a fake case number. I imagine that these scam artists look at credit reports by pretending to represent payday loans etc., and like is mention many times before, attempt to get one to give them one's credit card so they can access one's account. It's unfortunate that so many illegitimate organizations have access to one's credit report because they can be quite convincing that the legal complaint they threaten to file against one, is valid.  This lady who just called me, claimed to be from erroneous government agency and when I gave them the case # they provided, the person I called back couldn't tell me my name nor any pertinent personal information. If they call and threaten you don't give them any personal information.  The best thing to do is tell them to send it in writing and they'll give up. They don't want a paper trail.

So today they call saying that as of 05/15/2012 the federal gvt passed a law that they can prosecute if you dont pay back a payday loan, I contacted my county clerks office and was informed this is a new scam..

just received a call from a Tiffany Allen and she says she's a liaison w/the Dept of legal services. She says something about there's just been a legal case filed underneath my name and my social security number and legal documents will be at my house. If I have any questions to call 855 325 1796 and then she proceeds to give me a case number. But when you call the number is just a generic message.

Received a call today from a Jennifer witb the Dept of Legal Services this call came from a unavailable telephone number.  Threatning to serve papers at my place of employmemt etc for my arrest.  The thing is I get these calls about once a year. This is nerve racking. I am so tired of scammers!  Go away!  There was a call back # 888 470 1284

MAN CALLED FROM UNKNOWN #, STATING THAT HE WAS FROM THE DEPT OF LEGAL SERVICES AND I NEEDED TO BE SERVED TO GO TO COURT, HE EVEN KNEW THE LAST 3 #'S OF MY SS# AND GAVE ME A # WITH A PERSON TO CONTACT AND THEY COULD TELL ME WHAT ITS ABOUT. IGOOGLED AND FOUND THIS.....FAKE FAKE FAKE CALLS

A Lady by the name of Renee call saying she is with the Department of Legal Services. When I ask for more information she said she can't give me any in till I give her mine. I want to know if this number and if she is a real goverment worker

Department of legal services is NOT part of the US government.  The federal government does not have a secretary general.  The real department of legal services has something to do with an international organization called the Organization of American States.  It is made up of countries in the Americas.

The bunch using this name to scam people are criminals and have nothing to do with any government or organization of governments.

Received a call today....threatening someone who is not even here about taking the next step....county will be serving them at their place of employment or residence if they don't hear back from this person.  I am on Do not call list so have no idea how they got my number.  If they are a legitimate company, why do they use Unknown Name Unknown Number for their caller ID?

When they called me, it was a female named Chris Taylor. She said that the they were called City Serve, a collections agency and she threatened my mother with a court hearing if she doesn't pay them (using credit or debit) by tomarrow. She even told me that she didn't have to tell us their address or anything and that if we call THEM again they would call the police "in your area" lol. Sad.

Department of legal services is a branch of federal govenment people before typing do research first so you know what you are typing about. Plus feds dont make calls from 888 800 900 numbers period. This guy threatened false legal action which is indeed a crime. Be informed first! Take action second! No where to go in government impersonation is a felony. I am right person to call true feds and let them listen to voicemessage. Dont just gripe know who to report this to. Or be ignorant and reply without knowing facts and look as stupid at it seems you all are.!

Also the call leaving me a voicemessage was left by a william hamilton in which he claimed dls request his assistance serving papers to me for noncompliance and allegations being made were very serious however 8882960710 is not a dls number period. Plus dls doesnt do private work they work with and for the secretary general. So dls does in fact exist and is indeed a department of federal government. So be informed before replying to any claims made online. Ignorance is not bliss and only makes you look as stupid as the reply did! Be informed do research before spouting lies please

There is a department of legal services and is a branch of federal government looked it up online does work for secretary general. Not the point. Dita nca is fraudulent however. Due to being a us citizen were my government wanting to serve papers to me they have enough intel to locate me. Have had many experience with government and william hamilton that works for dita nca is a lying scumbag that crossed wrong person. Will be going to doj fbi and other officials to stop these calls. Why? Cause i am able to its my right!

Brandon is a lying scammer shill who wants potential victims to believe that this number belongs to "DLS (department of legal services) a federal branch of the government". There is NO SUCH department. His scammers will probably threaten victims with arrest/jail/whatever for FAKE crimes they did not commit unless they pay big $money up front with their credit card over the phone. Or will they offer FAKE government grants if victims will fork out big $money up front for taxes/insurance/processing/whatever? Or will they offer tax refunds if victims will fork out...

This is a company not a branch of the government.  Always we weary of any company / debt collector that intentionally uses a company name which is misleading.  NOT A BRANCH OF THE GOVT, JUST MADE TO SOUND LIKE IT
