I received a call @ my job from 410-387-7747 Baker & Associates from Rose who left a threatening message on my work phone.  I called the # back and a Gentlman w/the same accent (Indian) hung up the phone.  I too told them I'm turning over the message to my local authorities.

This people have called 7 time today and one time said thay is was my aunt Jeanette...I don't have an aunt Jeanette.

they called be today giving me the same bull about owing them $156 from 1998. I told them I would not pay a dime for a good/service I did not receive. I went a step further and contacted the magazine companies they said I owed, and none of them had any record of me ordering anything or owing any money. In fact, I wasn't even in their system. I was told by a lady with Ebony magazine that they were probably scamming me.

I've been getting calls from this number everyday. When I pick up the phone and say Hello, no one answers and they just hang up. I'm getting pissed off. I do not know why they are calling me. I tried the number and it say's my call can't be completed as dialed.  I want them to stop calling. I don't know how I can do this? I'm going to report this number to the Better Business Bureau if they don't stop.  They call serveral times a day. I'm sick of it!!!!!

These people have called me from at least a dozen different numbers and caller ID tags - very strange.

I got the same thing. They said mine was 49.72 that was left unpaid but I know that I paid them all off and I too discontinued the magazines. Glad I researched before paying.

They have called repeadtly here lately stating i only owe 20.00 and they can't believe i am going to let that ruin my credit; yes i was part of some magazine thing in 2004, (which they are saying I owe from) Well in 2005 the magazines were paid in full and I discontinued them so.... What is the next step I take??

i never answer calls i do not know and it really gets me pissed off when they keep calling and you would think they would stop if some one does not pick up but i guess not thank god for caller id's if i keep getting calles i am going to call a tv station and let them know about all of this number just pisses me off about all the scames out there

These people call about 4 times a day.. and I answered the phone one time to tell them to stop calling, and they said I had a magazine subscription bill from back in 2002.  NOT!  I said.. i'm not paying 400.00$ for ANY magazines and I don't know who in their right mind would.    I told them to stop calling, and they said i'd have to submit a letter in writing.. oh..and they also said they had a voice recording of me, saying that I agreed to buy these magazines.. I said..  "No you don't because I never ordered any magazines!".    Anyway.. the chic gave me the address.. it is

Got a call from this number this morning.
I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize. I figure if it is important, they will leave a message. They left no message . . . must not be important.
If it is indeed a scam . . . my guess is they want my current credit card info. I recently I had to cancel and reorder my credit card because I had noticed a pattern of unauthorized charges. Who knew I would become so popular.

Well, they only called me 2 times today.  There was no message left at all.  I don't have a magazine subscription service and have never had one since living here the past 2 years.

I get a call from these people everyday, but the thing is, they just hang up when I answer. I have called them back, and they keep saying they have the wrong number, but yet, they call everyday.

They call me all the time too! They are representing the International Reader's League of San Deigo?! LKB is a collection agency for the company mentioned above and I guess maybe other magazine companies? Wonder if they get paid off each call because they call all the time! Its lame! Other #'s they've called me from are: 305-890-1342; 360-362-5462; 215-436-8631; 215-436-8633.

I have the same complaints as everyone else and i just finished sending this info to my local new channel for investigation. I suggest that everyone else do the same. It might piss "Lukey Baker & Assoc" off.

these people call me constantly. they will hang up when i answer the phone. they do not leave messages on the answering machine. they call like 10 to 12 times a day. every day. even on sunday ive had thier call. please stop calling me. said that i have a balance on magazines. wtf? i didnt order magazines, wants my credit card or bank account info to settle the balance. i dont have a balance cause i didnt order magazines. just stop the calling!

This person called me 17 times yesterday alone, and normally will call 8-10 times a day.  Using both my cell number AND home phone. Won't leave a message. I consider this stalking myself, but not sure who to report it to.  Verizon?

Same as some others. They call about 7 or 8 times a day. When u answer they dont respond

I have been getting calls at least 6-7 times a day from these people and when my daughter answers they don't respond. They start calling at 7:30 in the morning.

Just Like Erica I recieved the same phone call. Said I ordered magazines back 2000.  I too was not married at that time.  What they don't know is I work with close to 100 attoneys.  They are going to love this.

A new one to me. Yet more of the same. I received two calls from whatever source 410-846-2530 may be, each within twenty minutes of the other. As with about 95 percent of my incoming calls these days, some sort of solicitor or harassing call. If this were someone that I needed to talk to, I would be calling them. As with most things in life, I believe that the "put me on your do not call list" is a scam and actually a futile effort at best.

These people call all during the day.  I finally called back and blocked my number.  The lady I spoke to said that I had a magazine account way back in 1997...hmmmm.  I knew it was a lie as I have never ordered magazines online.  Plus, back in 1997, I was not married to my current husband and lived somewhere else.  This is a SCAM of some sort.  She told me that my previous address was a P.O. Box number.  I have never had a P.O. Box.  From there, I informed her to not call my home again or I would have my attorney research the company and present them with a lawsuit.

These are individuals who are trying to obtain personal information. Do not provide you info. Just hang up
