4 calls - the most recent at 10:45 PM.

I keep getting fax tones from this number. When I try to call back it goes to the UPMC automated message. Every now and then I get this call. And it has started to become annoying.

This number belongs to the UPMC Medical Billing and Collections Office. Once you pay your estimated up-front co-pay at their dr's offices or their hospitals, this office takes over if there's anything left for you to pay-- after services are rendered and bills submitted to the insurance company on your behalf. They called us more than 15 times--for $4.81 they said we owed. $4.81! They got their $4.81 and now, no more calls.

Called me twice around 1800 hours on a Friday.  The first time I answered, and heard nothing on the other line.  The second time I didn't bother to answer.  No voicemail, nothing.

I have had issues with UPMC, so the earlier comments bear fruit.  I recently paid my final bill to them, though (y'know, for the thing they misdiagnosed which caused debilitating damage, and then double-billed me for).  And they've cashed the check already, so they better not be trying to get any more cash from me.  UPMC = Untrained Punks Making Complications.

Yes, this is a UPMC billing collections office automatic dialer.  They say I owe them for some miscellaneous overcharges I contested on an emergency room visit last year.  While we sort it out with the insurance company they call me about twice a week with this robo-call.  Another that they use is 800-729-4404 which seems to be set to call daily at the same time. I just flip my phone on and off when it comes in -- tried listening to the message once but all it does is tell you to call back.  A total waste of my time and certainly not liable to aid in their collection efforts -- you've got to wonder.

REC VOICE MAIL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THE ONLY THING THE CALLER SAYS IS GOODBYE!!! THIS IS THE 3RD TIME

This is a UPMC phone number.  My phone rang only twice and they left no message.  Called them back and received an automated message.
