Trying to find out who owns this phone number.

Got a phone call on a Sat. afternoon from "Publishers" asked to talk to my husband. When I asked what about they said Playboy magazine subscription. I said he doesn't get that and hung up.

This number is associated with someone who identified themselves with "Publishers". Told us that we had been such good customers over the past five years that they were going to give us $300 in free gas, if we would get an additional 3 year subscription for Discovery magazine for about $23-$ 24 a year and a free subscription to Popular Science if we would give our credit card number. My husband asked for the supervisor to call back, which they did from 1-888-788-4525. My husband told them to call back in twenty minutes as he was busy. No further call. The thing is-we don't subscribe to Discover magazine, which is how they told us they had identified us in the first place.Seems like a scam.

I do wish the calls from 412 422 9994  would stop , the Federal DN call list should include political calls..
