I got tired of all these calls and bought me a good Call Blocker. Can now block individual calls, area number calls and block ID names. I like the Digitone

414-326-9237 called four times in a row at 9:37AM on 05/14/2014, the call was automatically blocked by my AT&T U-Verse due to previous contact attempts. Once again the name CID read as CHILDRENS CANCE

Folks, be aware that for charitable donation solicitations made over the telephone, only pennies of your dollar actually go to the charity.  If you want to support a Children's Cancer cause, then send your donation directly to a 501(c)3 organization and then they will receive 100% of your charitable dollar.

These folks keep calling and I'm on the no call list. How can I stop this nonsense?

I have received calls from this number. A lot of calls. I get sometimes three calls a day and no one seems to be there. I am on the do not call list.

On the DNC List, these people are scammers as described above. I briefly talked with them, and they are reading from a script asking for donations, but could not give a physical address or bldg number of a regional or city HQ. AVOID talking with them as they are a fly by night scammer group.

Called my home at 9:00 pm . I didn't answer. These people are not allowed to call after 8pm so 9pm is "pushing it" !!!!!

This caller is annoying me if it don't quit I will call the FCC on them

The caller kept saying "imagine a small child sick with cancer lying in a hospital". I kept saying "been there, done that". Three times, she started this spiel, every time I told her my child had had cancer, I know all about it. Totally annoying and hung up her.

I have a T-Lock call blocker, which is only $60.00.  It's supposed to have the capacity to block up to both incoming and outgoing calls (up to 1,500 calls each way).  The only thing I don't like about it is that there's no way to block a number before it's called, so I can't program in the numbers of family members I will not see until their funerals.

The caller Id identifies it as Milwaukee WI call.  I let it go to vm but there wasn't a message left.

sorry dude they ARE bill collectors. Be more emphatic , you are lucky the banks did not screw you over.

The phone number is listed to a place called "Warehouse Electronics."  So, either someone at that place is doing telemarketing on the side, or this is a scam.  

They don't even ask me for money anymore.  They just ask for me by name, then when I say it's me they hang up.  

Sure wish someone could shut this scam down because the longer they remain in operation the more unsuspecting souls they will be able to steal from.

AreaCode/Prefix 414-326 is a landline, and the carrier is LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - WI.

I am in the same area code and it is possible that this telephone number was spoofed. They do this to target people in a familiar area code to make them feel more comfortable that it is a "local" charity and thus you might be more willing to "donate."

This caller came up as: Enrl Cnt Health. Whats funny is reading the complaints is that I also declined a call from the collect for children's cancer after their explanation into the children's benefits or program DID not seem legit to what I knew about the cancer foundation. I've received this new call repeatedly from the same number. A message left from the machine further complicates their legitimate business as they went from explaining a solicitation for the children with cancer to slipping up and saying something about credit card rates, then hung up. So Bogus all the way

I got a call from this number and didn't leave a message. Caller ID only showed the number and WISCONSIN CALL.  I just did a search on this number and went to www.yelp.com and found out the number belongs to Warehouse Electronics in Milwaukee.  If you get another call from this number, report it to the FCC as these people are using a business number for their scams.

I received a call from at 12:47pm from 414/326-9237 and Ramona continued to tell me about their company..ACS  (Associated Community Services which is in Michigan) and how they are trying to get contributions for the Childrens Cancer Society. she spoke very fast and when I finally got her to stop talking.. I told her that my husband is on disability and I lost my job and cannot collect unemployment, so we are just trying to keep our heads above water...she said that she knows that the times are hard but just a little amount would help..which in turn I told her that we will not contribute and as I am continuing to tell her to take us off the call list, I realized that she had hung up on me...We are on the do not call list for a reason and I know that these non for profit companies are exempt, but I am tired of this.  I returned the call and you guess it, I got the same speel from the recording and to leave a message with name, phone number and amount that we want to give and they will mail an envelope to me...NOT!  Then I calleded ACS (877/218-8234) directly to complain about the unprofessional people they have working for them and you guessed it...they only have an answering machine also...so I left them a message and told them what I thought, but I am willing to bet the answering machine is also bogus. I will give to the causes that I choose and not be bullied into giving money to someone who is not even in our state or even local.  I am reporting to the FCC, but I understand with all of these types of companies floating around it is difficult to stop them....so we are the ones that have to be continually harrassed by these people...doesn't pay to be nice!
